  1. I would but £40 for the the flimsiest piece of plastic, it’s only 140 for a whole new gat and I then have spare parts for when it breaks again
  2. Good to know, think I’ll get another g34 as a donor, reinforce the front sight and gain another magazine for the same cost as an alloy slide
  3. Well it finally happened, i broke a Tm glock. the weight of a joe lau fibre front sight cracked it where it hangs over into the cutout on the top of the frame. (Or I just did it up too tight but it’s not my usual style). so just looking at a new Tm g34 or, do i go down the rabbit hole of an alloy slide and the increased power hammer/slide springs and a zero hammer combination and the end of any spare money (plus what I can find down the back of the sofa). it’s for action air so indoor use only. generally haven’t dicked around with it only a new trigger and mag well but I need to epoxy the front trigger post. Advice re building custom slide glocks would be welcomed not interested in we (sh*t)or umarex (parts are unavailable).
  4. This is my 4.3 limcat build the crappy photo is its current form with slide stop thumb rest
  5. That looks like overkill for an inbuilt plate carrier cooling system
  6. I’m sure rogerborg will have your answer along soon.
  7. Selective use of part of a quote to make your point, we will make a journalist of you yet.
  8. Handbags ladies, (stick that in your pronoun and smoke it) anyway i feel Tm have created a monster, at least with the mws it is close to the competitors in general design whilst doing the shooty bit better. a cast ak with plastic wood??? you can keep it it may shoot well but I lump this in with the jg svd in a close but not quite category
  9. I find the notion of an Airsoft sniper amusing at the best of times. an hpa rif is pretty much as quiet, has no m.e.d is still full auto and a sorted one can shoot 85% as far as a sniper especially in less than perfect conditions and can lob them mortar style to pin them down while you let others push up. A ghillied up mtw user has far more use on a skirmish field and is probably why you will see more and more animosity towards them as they increase in numbers, especially when they have their armbands on their ankles (which is why I shoot all “snipers” on sight unless they have visible armbands on their arms where they should be). I feel a full ghillie suit should require a bolt action and a pistol as they gains of the ghillie are offset by the limits of the single shot bolt action. I wear a Russian leaf hood but the gains compared to a full ghillie are minimal so I will use an aeg. if everyone becomes Airsoft camman with a full ghillie and full auto this hobby is going to get boring really quickly
  10. 1st world problems On the rare occasion where I start to feel like this (usually from a prolonged time away from airsoft) I just turn on the news, 5 minutes later I am not exactly raring to go but it puts my (self cantered whinging) lack of motivation under a spotlight. Frustration with the last 18 months restrictions and impact on my business and finances would be top of my list of reasons to feel a lack of enthusiasm for something I enjoy doing. We all need our own motivation to get off our arses, looking at the shit show in Afghanistan and the fact that people would try and hold onto a plane as it takes off and getting killed doing so puts my life into perspective somewhat. Airsoft is not the answer, but a profound lack of motivation to do something you normally enjoy? I think you are asking yourself the wrong question about the wrong subject. go airsofting, change your attitude to the Teflon’s It’s more fun that way. (As this is out of my usual posting type, Normal service will be resumed)
  11. Marvellous, thank you for the help. I’ll wait for the sterling to arrive and resist the itchy finger in the sale box
  12. Looking at some of these online and know nothing about them. i know my way around TM hicapa and glocks, just fishing for info to see whether these are worth the cash or do they fall into the we luger/browning hipower category. specifically the Korth prs but general info is useful
  13. The ring symbolises your commitment to the hobby and the spring tames all the powerful recoil of the aeg which is why you don’t feel any.
  14. I was at that stage 3 months ago. id sold all my non standard aeg to keep two that shared magazines but had different jobs. An mws well, because it’s an mws. and my cyma hi cap machine for the afternoons or when I remember that it’s a just a game and doing mag changes and bolt release catches may improve my experience 90% of the time but I can get out from my own backside and allow myself to just shoot and wind on auto. so 4 rifs, a glock for hip candy because even though I shoot action air with pistols, I rarely use it in skirmishes. But, then I started looking at simple toys that are made well but don’t have all the modern attachments for just enjoying running around and shooting and unfortunately I now have a sterling smg on order. I even sold my hpa because whilst it performed better than any other rif i own at throwing little white bbs around, the hose pissed me off and the ease of sitting still picking people off in near silence meant it defeated the reason I started doing this (to run around and not get fatter).
  15. “Direction and magnitude” if I’m being really pedantic
  16. But did they have force and magnitude like vector, oh yeah
  17. As above, can’t even be bothered to see if I’ve spelt his name properly. I hate p90’s so this doesn’t interest me but what’s next?
  18. I buy what I think I like. i don’t care what you like. i tinker because I can’t help it. when it performs to the limits of my tinkering capabilities it’s generally the time when I realise whether I really like it or not and it stays or gets sold. I am happy with my 4 remaining rifs i don’t think I want a gbls das but if I do go that way the mws and my sorted socom ngrs would have to be culled to fund the purchase, I don’t think I can let either of them go. ive been through many brands and models to get to this point and these 4 do everything I need for the two sites I go to
  19. Yes, perfect fit and a small barrel extension included for the suppressor to fit. Ordered an airsoft artisan 45degree offset m-lok mount for the torch which works a treat.
