Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread
Stratton Oakmont replied to Mack's topic in General Discussion
Since when did this become a thing to do and who’s to say how legitimate/honest? https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/electric-powered/excellent-condition-tm-mac-10-aep_i30484 And while I’m here -
I like my jefftron leviathan in my recoil does what you want with some trigger break “feel”. It is micro switch but is as good as My Titan recoil

Another Airsoft site gone… (InRange Birmingham)

Joys of renting a warehouse, in general investors are buying them as a punt as a potential development site to flip. It’s a shame as they put a hell of a lot of time and money into this site only to have the rug pulled. -

Don’t get your point if it’s 190 you are saving £20 over retail buying second hand for a WE that is £110 at my local store (and on google). Even with the extras I don’t understand why you are justifying the price. -
I’ve had both, the bolt kicks harder but the gen 2 quality is better than the gen 1 but nowhere near tm. KWA - stronger recoil built like tanks and get the later rear wired generation 3 if you want Titan compatible gearbox. Id buy the kwa over the bolt particularly the pts stock/rail centurion m4 model but I would still take the Tm over the KWA as you are getting into Tm recoil price point

Helmet Cam For Personal Use, Does It Make Me A Nobber?
Stratton Oakmont replied to Fatboy40's topic in General Discussion
What’s the point? In most cases the footage will be 1+ hour of your life you’ll never get back watching it. name a decent YouTube channel and you will see an iceberg of ten minutes footage that has had hours of crappy footage edited out plus hours of time making a story out of it. Unless you really want to waste your life learning a niche skill that provides zero income for the time limit/money you put into it then why bother. aside from a very few (yes and I include kicking mustang as love or hate the videos are well scripted/edited whatever) all the rest are not worth wasting your life viewing. if you were 15 at least you would have your parents patting you on the back for your new skill. I liken it to filming a concert, you are missing the moment poorly filming something others are experiencing to obtain footage that no one will ever want to watch. Or maybe you are the next Stanley Kubrick and I await your first YouTube masterpiece. Cynical comments aside, you won’t be considered a nob for having cameras on your toy gats in answer to your question. -
Convert any L85/SA80 to a dmr make sure it’s too hot for the site limit so it fails chrono leave it in the car so nobody sees it

Do you shoot people at skirmishes with that revolver or just reach out and poke them with it and claim a knife kill?

That looks like overkill for an inbuilt plate carrier cooling system -

Selective use of part of a quote to make your point, we will make a journalist of you yet.

Handbags ladies, (stick that in your pronoun and smoke it) anyway i feel Tm have created a monster, at least with the mws it is close to the competitors in general design whilst doing the shooty bit better. a cast ak with plastic wood??? you can keep it it may shoot well but I lump this in with the jg svd in a close but not quite category

I find the notion of an Airsoft sniper amusing at the best of times. an hpa rif is pretty much as quiet, has no m.e.d is still full auto and a sorted one can shoot 85% as far as a sniper especially in less than perfect conditions and can lob them mortar style to pin them down while you let others push up. A ghillied up mtw user has far more use on a skirmish field and is probably why you will see more and more animosity towards them as they increase in numbers, especially when they have their armbands on their ankles (which is why I shoot all “snipers” on sight unless they have visible armbands on their arms where they should be). I feel a full ghillie suit should require a bolt action and a pistol as they gains of the ghillie are offset by the limits of the single shot bolt action. I wear a Russian leaf hood but the gains compared to a full ghillie are minimal so I will use an aeg. if everyone becomes Airsoft camman with a full ghillie and full auto this hobby is going to get boring really quickly -
1st world problems On the rare occasion where I start to feel like this (usually from a prolonged time away from airsoft) I just turn on the news, 5 minutes later I am not exactly raring to go but it puts my (self cantered whinging) lack of motivation under a spotlight. Frustration with the last 18 months restrictions and impact on my business and finances would be top of my list of reasons to feel a lack of enthusiasm for something I enjoy doing. We all need our own motivation to get off our arses, looking at the shit show in Afghanistan and the fact that people would try and hold onto a plane as it takes off and getting killed doing so puts my life into perspective somewhat. Airsoft is not the answer, but a profound lack of motivation to do something you normally enjoy? I think you are asking yourself the wrong question about the wrong subject. go airsofting, change your attitude to the Teflon’s It’s more fun that way. (As this is out of my usual posting type, Normal service will be resumed)

Marvellous, thank you for the help. I’ll wait for the sterling to arrive and resist the itchy finger in the sale box
