Just bought a throat mic. An ALAN Heavy duty throat mic. Appears to be a faithful reproduction of the Code Red systems at a much more agreeable (at this time) price.

Already purchased the official super suit... Same idea, comes with a skeleton door for better audio and 2 solid doors for diving and it's already BB proof. Thanks though!

Yup, those are the ones I have.. just couldn't remember the name. I use a mesh lower mask. Not sure what you use. You might wanna try a little dish soap instead if the revision are not doing the job 100%. Soap works better for me when i don't have a fan but instead of fog you get water streaks. Can still see clearly but it can distort the view slightly. Like a thin layer of running water type effect. Acceptable for me.

Snowboarding. And the goggles are nothing special, just some cheap FMA fan goggles the same as Roger has. I have all the stuff here to double glaze them like Roger did but I've been too lazy to actually do it yet. I sweat like a bitch in heat but either a little dish soap or a revision wipe takes care of 75% of my fogging and I have the fan for extreme circumstances so I'm in no real rush. Roger never has to use his fan with the double glazing. One day I'll get round to it... I also have a pair of low profile goggles that are double glazed out the box but no fan. They work ok as long as I use dish soap or revision wipes. In total I have 3 sets of goggles.. the low profile ones and 2 of the FMA fan goggles. I like to wear a pair and then switch them out between games to let any moisture evap... Constant rotation. I'm actually thinking about adding a pair of bolle X800I to the mix at some point... I wanna try them out

I have enough shit on my helmet, including the battery pack for my goggle fans. Plus I won't just be using it for Airsoft...

Exactly this. When you've been told as a child, from medical professionals, that one more severe knock to the back of the head could kill you, it's enough to put the fear in you. Granted my skull will have re-strengthened by now but I'm still gonna wear it, even if it only increases my chances 10%. On a scale of prayer to guarantee, I'll take 10% any day of the week and if it gives me confidence then I'm all for it. The CQB site I play at has a leaky roof which leaves puddles of water full of slimey green algae on a completely concrete floor. I have boots that can deal with oil, ice, BB's etc but algae bests them easily. Not to mention the many trip hazards from building debris, other people and my own feet and the multiple stairwells. Yeah, I'll take a helmet.

Some, not all. Indeed. Some is better than none... And if I thought I was at increased risk of falling/slipping/gaining a head injury that could endanger my life during those activities, I would, same as I would riding a bike.

Bit of both for me really. Playing CQB with trip and slide hazards etc. I almost killed myself several times as a kid, falling/slipping backwards and smashing the back of my head into the ground. With a helmet I can run around and do stupid shit without fear. But it can also look cool. I custom painted mine. BB's don't hurt enough to warrant a helmet, it's the environmental hazards for me.

How long was the delivery, dude? I was contemplating just ordering one of these from Davescustom... They are like £60 there but shipping from the UK... I really cba to wait 1-2 months only to find it broken or subpar from Ali. Let us know how it fairs when you test it out! I'm on the hunt for a temporary vision obscuring level of brightness.

Oh yeah, I totally get that but by my reckoning everything listed there, new, would not be far from the £500 mark, maybe more. So while, like I said, the price is a little high, it doesn't seem THAT bad. I wouldn't say it deserves to be called an alternate universe. Out of curiosity, unrelated to that ad, how would you value modified/customised parts on resale. Factoring in man hours etc. For instance if someone took a standard slide and customised if nicely. Something you couldn't just go out and buy but would require a bit of work to try and replicate?

Not my taste per say but why do I feel the price is, while a little high, it's not THAT bad. Maybe I'm wrong. The slide alone is £125 and you're still getting all the stock parts included. Please re-educate me if I'm missing something...

Just bought a whole host of parts for an entire Hi-capa slide assembly. Sadly the slide I wanted they didn't have in silver so had to get a black one. Got a job on my hands this weekend stripping the anodisation from that bad boy! Oh, and an acetech lighter tracer unit!

Yeah, as much as I give vegans a hard time... Coz they're stupid in my opinion ... There are a select few that are ok, like those girls you mention. It's the ones that never stop going on about it... I wanna feed them to a fuckin lion! Or worse yet, the ones that like to force their beliefs on others, especially those that can't speak for themselves. There is an entire community of vegans that force veganism on their pet cats and they post picture after picture of these shells of an animal. Seriously malnourished and sick creatures. 5x replacement Prowin 170mm hi-capa mag lips. Filled one of my mags today with BB's to chrono the new pistol and set it down on the table while I switched on the chrono and set it up. Was in the middle of the chrono settings when suddenly the mag vomitted the entire compliment of ammo across the room. Checked the mag and everything seemed ok. Only put 5 BB's in this time aaaaaand... Boom... Off flies one of the lips, completely sheered. Brilliant. The other 5 mags seem ok so just ordered a handful to replace the broken one and have some spares in my box. Fuck!
