Have you used it? What's it like? I'm looking for something bulletproof, set it and forget it with a nice smooth action and good coatings.

Has anyone replaced the original buffer tube? Looking for some recommendations for the best metal buffer tube, multi positional, that will accept a real magpul MOE/CTR stock. I've been advised elsewhere that I should pick up one of these: https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/gp-marui-gbb-mws-roller-bolt-for-mws004-tube?fbclid=IwAR1-PjelhQ1OqMow7YvV7h6vBXpOUu-i7ZqSxwSRZ7ACisYAfKutzpHRsX0 to go with a real buffer tube or one of these: https://www.redwolfairsoft.com//redwolf/airsoft/Accessories_Grips_and_Stocks_GBB_G_P_6_Position_Buffer_Tube_for_Tokyo_Marui_M4A1_MWS_GBBR.htm I am under the impression that, if I went for a real buffer tube, that I would have to rethread the receiver as although they have the same thread size and pitch as TM, the cut is different. Can anyone confirm if those 2 parts above are good or recommend alternatives? Can anyone also confirm if I would have to rethread the receiver if I pick up a real tube from Brownells? Thanks in advance!

I've finally decided to pull the proverbial trigger and get me one of these bad boys, CQBR version. Already ordering parts! Just ordered myself a licensed EMG/SAI QD Rail with JailBrake, pictured below. Will be picking up a Magpul MOE stock too. Just need to find myself a nice skeletonised pistol grip and foregrip and i'll be all set I think... not including optic of course. Kinda excited!

https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/army-armament-jag-precision-x-taran-tactical-jw3-combat-master-gas-blowback-pistol The lighting in my pictures make the barrel look very golden. It's not really. Its actually a dark rose gold, almost burnt copper look.

@Wo1f Quick question, not sure if you covered reasonings but I can't see it... But what is the benefit of leaving a stub on the magazine fill tube instead of removing it entirely? I'm on the cusp of buying a CQBR block 1.

Nice! Cya on Sunday!

Did you just ASSUME that Roger was complaining?! This is 2019, Proffrink!!! 😉

UPS are a joke for sure. Mike from Elite and I had a hell of a time with my order of pistol parts. I've literally never, no exaggeration, had a single delivery go smoothly with UPS. They take incompetence to a whole new level. Why are they not accepting RIF deliveries for you? Just you? Wtf? What did you order from patrol base? Did they sit on it or was it DHL?
-
Par for the course with UPS in my experience. Fingers crossed for a result tomorrow. Did you get the uprated gears put in?
-
Oh, that's ok then. You should get it for Sunday. I say SHOULD... I'm guessing UPS? Worst logistics company on the face of the earth so I hope for your sake it comes...
-
I'm guessing you ain't getting it back for Sunday?

Now I know why so many parcels go missing with Royal Mail! Fuck!

I have paid import taxes from HK, rainbow 8 included as have many others here... Only on things above a certain value. I paid a ludicrous amount of import fees for my Prowin mags but it still worked out cheaper than buying them from the UK. It's not priced more than new... You seem to still be overlooking the fact that it comes with an extra mag and a holster. A mag, new is in the £20-30 range and the holster is too... In used terms that still about £30 more for both. And while it's technically not new, the fact still remains, if I didn't want to wait for a UK/EU restock and I wanted one... I would consider it and so would many others. Things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. Which is why selling on eBay is so successful. Edit: it should also be noted, I am not intentionally defending the seller, but I do feel that in this particular instance, point the finger and making fun is a little unfair.

Lol... You can facepalm yourself all you want. That's £131... From HONG KONG! Add on delivery and import taxes... Closer to £160.
-
It's closer to £160 because it's closer to £160. Just a few examples... and those are without delivery. I didn't say it was new at any point but they haven't been in stock anywhere that I've seen in 6 months+ so yeah, like I said... If I was in the market for another one, with an extra mag and a holster... I would consider it for £180 delivered.
-
'Actually new' is closer to £160 without delivery but the seller has a point about them being out of stock. It appears I had good timing when I got mine. I've not seen them in stock anywhere in ages. It's also not a 1911. Personal bugbear. But imho... £180 delivered plus an extra mag and a holster? If I was in the market for another one and I didn't want to wait for a retailer restock... I would probably consider it.

Radios arrived today. Quickly tried the throat mic out. Can confirm works great! Very happy!
-
Well fuck me sideways! Delivery was rapid! It literally just arrived... Before the fuckin radio! Well shit! It looks the business, metal PTT with pinned connectors and locking collars and pretty solid overall construction. The part that goes round the throat is 'tight'... Wasn't expecting it to be quite so tight but it's ok and I'm guessing aids transmission of vibrations to the mic. Might not be great for a 'larger fellow' though. Ear piece is well moulded and fits nicely without muffling too much ambient noise/local conversation. Comfortable. I'll update when I try it out with an actual radio. If I was to give a verdict pre function test... Easily worth the price.

Will do. I answered your message too.
