I cant speak for the MWS as my GBBR's are mainly WE but I'm sure it's not much different. Remove the loading nozzle from the bolt carrier, on the WE there is a pin visible on the bolt which secures the return spring. Ant nozzle guids also need to be removed. Once out you need to open the nozzle, again on the WE there is a pin half way along the nozzle that secures thhe front and back together and locates the return spring. Take the valve and it's spring out of the nozzle, replace the valve with the NPAS,( note orientation needs to be the same as the original valve, ) and reuse the valve spring. Then re assembley is as they say , the reverse .

Thanks for the reply. Now you mention it , I'm sure i remember reading about a M/L rubber being fitted. Seem to recal it needed the locating nub removing. Sounds like the difference is marginal then. I think I'll suggest that he and I have a comparison of his 416 against my L119 A1 which does have a crazy jet in it, whilst different brands they are at least the same basic platform, if mine is demonstrably more accurate or more consistant, I'll put a C/J in the 416 . I'll report back either way once we've had a try.

I've got one of these beasts on my bench at to moment, belongs to a friend who has asked me to give it a go through. I've adjusted the NPAS to give it a decent but usable power level, done the usual clean and relube and cleaned the barrel, zero'd his red dot and it's shooting very well. What's the thoughts on barrel and hop rubber on these ? I normally go to a M/L crazy jet barrel and M/L rubber in my own GBB kit. But my MP7 and 249 are both running the stock barrel and rubber and frankly dont feel like they need a change, so I'm debating if it's worthwhile on the 416. Any one swapped them and was it worth it ?

Should work. Try it and report back 😁

The 249 got a run out today, I love how much fun it is , got some nice kills with it . Didn't have a single issue with the gas block releasing itself, so the replacement mag catch does seem to have sorted that.

My game day on Sunday was fun, only 28 players , so nice and tactical. I believe we lost most games, but fair play to the other tem who played very well. I Managed a couple of long sneaky flanking trips to get behind them though which was satisfying, In the last game I played I worked my way round and took out 2 players who were holding our team back, then just as I settled down in a bush to cover if they came back, the heavens opened. There I am sitting in a bush , absoluty soaked , thinking ' remind me why I love doing this' 😂

My MP7 , its the 'umarex' one so I think VFC, is fine down to temperatures where I'm thinking sod this I'm off for a brew !

Cybergun and TM Scar-L AEG Compatibility
Nick G replied to Frank123's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Are you planning to fit the kit to a GBB Scar ? wondering about the WE reference as WE make GBB SCARs . Can't see a kit designed for ( I assume ) an aeg working on a GBBR. As a side not, I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but that is just wrong ! -
Sounds like the follower is sticking. Try stripping the mag down and inspect the follower of damage or burrs and check the channel in the mag.

What does everyone really think of kickingmustang

Oh yes , maybe the scale needs to go up to 11 !😂 -

Buying a boltie only puts you at about a 1 on the km scale of cuntery so you're ok yet ! You need to start deliberatly headshotting, shooting from out of bounds, spawn camping , keeping your weapon loaded in the safe zone, screaming at random players about hit taking when your BB was never near them, not taking your hits and posting videos about how you are an airsoft 'celebrity' to make it all the way to 'Full Cumstain' which is level 10 on the km scale of cuntery 😁 -
Probably depends on the engraver. Jim at LC's has all the layouts , fonts etc for the L119's. Mine was the first Hi power he did, I sent him a load of pictures to work from and he then worked out the fonts etc from that.
-
I've used LC's engineering for lots of engraving . They do the trades ( and machining) on my L119 builds , he also did the British trades on my Hi power. Never have any worry about them going wrong, always just send the parts that need engraving rather than a whole RIF. Biggest issue is his waiting list.

Hi and welcome . The MWS group on here is very active and should be able to help with any questions. I'm now craving a Portuguese pastrie !

Having a good look at the legalities would be a good start. Even 'playing' around the house or garden isn't straight forward. Even ignoring the potential loss of brownie points if you damage anything in the house, if yoiu can been seen by neighbours, the public etc you stand the risk of getting a visit from plod for waving a gun around in public. You also need to look at PPE for you and anyone else in the house. Getting a BB in the face can and has caused loss of eyesight as well as loss of teeth. This is why you are not getting gun recomendations. You have lots of other things to considder, which people are trying to tell you. honestly you are best off going along to a site and playing a few games with their rental kit before starting to look at buying guns. For starters that will give you a chance to try a few and see what you like, it will also give you a grounding in the basic safety requirements. Yes airsoft guns are toys, but they are toys that can cause life changing injuries, range disciplin is vital. Listen to what folk are saying and considder the whole picture before running off to buy guns. Also if you don't want 2 toned guns you will need a defense , so play some games and get a UKARA. Everyone has a different idea of what are good guns, I love GBBRs and rarely use anything else, others will say they hate them because they limited ammo etc, loafs will say go hpa ( I hate hpa with a passion) read the threads on here, there are plenty of ones discussing different makes , platforms etc.

Should be basically a standard Glock type mag. May just need the long bolt tightening up (remove the base cap to check) But yep can be serviced easily enough.

Bit young if you ask me 😂

Well early indecations are good,my block has had the issue from day 1 (stanag has been fine) , but several mags in now and so far no repeat. https://www.wgcshop.com/products/dnfn-md01 Got mine from here, took about a week to arrive.

Spent some time testing the mag catch today as I wont get to play untill next month. 2 full BB loads (about 120 per mag) through it with the box mag and no sign of the gas block popping out , where as before you'd get half a dzen shots before it jumped out. Seems to be sorted by the new mag catch.
-
Experiments with the QD fittings continue. But with mixed success , so for the moment I'm running it stock but have my eye out for a very compact gas bottle that would fit into a box mag. I have however fitted the DNA steel mag catch . It does feelmore robust than the stock one, and it also seems to have stopped the box mag gas block jumping loose. I can only think the 'lump' on the DNA catch might be more pronounced. I have yet to try it in a game though so we will see. When I play next I'll try it without the m3 screw that I normally fit to the mag well and see what happens. Still loving the 249, it's so much fun !
-
Yep, straight forward to install . If it was running hot today, you'll certainly need one in there for the summer !
-
Has the SCAR H got an NPAS in it ? As you say days like that happen, but it sounds like you enjoyed the GBBR's on the range. I played today, did the first game with my aeg L119 A1 long while the gas mags got nice and toasty in the pouches on my plate carrier. Interesting that I used only about half a hi cap as I was very much in semi only mode from using the GBBRs so often. After that my A2 played the rest of the day , as usual I had no issues other than forgetting to regas one mag before a game . Can't beat the GBBRs !
-
And yet it actually isn't . You adapt your play style and it's so satisfying when you take some spray and prey wanker out with a double tap 🤣
-
Work your way in closer to the other team, conserve ammo and pick shots , remember that once you open up they will know where you are from the sound of a GBBR , Keep your mags warm . Above all prepare for a much more immersive experience than any aeg

KY airsoft should have them, they carry just about every part for WE. I use them regularly . SCAR-H #H-34 (kyairsoft.com) This bit ?
