  1. yep, I run the original ergo grip, although I'm sure the gen 2 should work ok too.
  2. likewise I also have a real steel ergo grip on my mws. it's an easy install and is really quite comfortable for me (even though it is quite thin as mentioned) so I really recommend them ?
  3. my two arrived yesterday too, it'll be interesting to compare notes once I've installed and tested it properly in a few weeks. (they are going in two very different rifles though, my gas M40A5 and the mk11)
  4. that's a strange one then @UKCYukarin most people seem to get on with them... there's not really anything I can add unfortunately. apart from possibly try a brand new can of propane. one thing I will say is that the mws mags hiss when filling(or at least mine do) and that's completely normal for TM mags I'm led to believe. just keep going until you actually see a cloud squirting out... I don't know, but that might make a difference?
  5. which propane adapter were you using? I use a madbull "metal" adapter... I wouldn't go as far as to say it's anything like steel as they are about fragile. but that works well for me, the mags should be fine on propane too... or at least that's my experience anyway. ?
  6. the small cog is called a star washer and fits directly under the mounting bolt to stop it vibrating loose. I hope that helps.
  7. I do mine when I feel it needs it... super helpful I know ? but basically this is a quick clean after most games to get any dust and muck out and re-oil or a more thorough clean with a barrel clean, wipe off any old lube then a full teflon spray on the trigger group and re-oil to displace any water or dirt if the weather conditions were awful, like the rain all day last Saturday, or if it's really dusty etc. I'm sure others have their own routines though...
  8. failing that the vision king short dot scope could work well for what your looking for. plus apparently the LPO short dot that it's based on has been seen in use although not many public reference images are available to confirm this.
  9. hi @hunter511 the thing with almost all gas guns is that they release much more gas down the barrel than they actually use so they are effectively all massively over volumed anyway. but you will almost certainly be fine on 144 using .25 s. in fact the issue with joule creep is normally encountered when you can run much heavier ammo (I run .36s) the short barrel will make it pretty noisy but yes you certainly can put a shorter barrel on it without any issues if you can find one you like that fits. I hope that helps a little anyway ?
  10. haha no worries, the tax stuff is a pain and seems to only apply sometimes... it gets even worse importing from the far East where the charge is dependent on which side of the bed HMRC got up that morning. ? and that's good news, there's some hope there then @LVOA-D
  11. sadly you would still be paying vat if you are within the EU. but I'm sure that they would be fine sending it to most other countries, it's not normally an issue as far as I'm aware. as always if you would like to double check it might be worth giving them a ring or send them an email. ?
  12. I thought that it was about time to share a photo of a few of my favourite RIFs ?
  13. I'm currently running an FMA H-nape repro with a team Wendy epic liner which together are very comfortable and really hold the helmet on securely (FMA maritime) you will probably end up having to make the liner and whatever strap you use work together. it's a pain in the backside but means that the helmet is comfortable for days. literally. I personally didn't get on well with the original FMA wormdial as it had a tendency to put quite a bit of pressure on the back and side of my head before loosening it's self and ending up resting on eyepro which caused all kinds of fogging issues ?
  14. I, umm. wow... I agree, you might need a new upper there ?
  15. I believe that eagle 6 can order one in for you, but if anyone else has any ideas?
  16. so I am finding on my mws on full auto that it sometimes double feeds in the middle of a burst. it is pretty much stock apart from a modify tan bucking with brass nub and is being run on propane using an npas with 0.36g bbs. cound this be bolt bounce? could an angry gun high speed recoil buffer help with this? it's not a massive issue as I pretty much exclusively use only semi at this point in time but it would be nice to get the full auto consistent.
  17. that was some very good timing @FreeFrag.UK ?
  18. you'll enjoy it @RobHedley I got mine from camoraids however they are now out of stock. the only ones that I can see is the iron Airsoft p mags from either milspec solutions or Dave's custom Airsoft. but I don't know how they compare to the standard TM usgi type mags.
  19. another suggestion that floats around every once in a while is the vision king short dot which might also be worth a look at. it just depends on what you are looking for ?
  20. some of those can be an absolute pain, as above make sure that you push the clip down all the way. hard. other than that you have probably found the difference between some Airsoft manufacturers and the real steel in terms of rail dimensions, plus there are a few different standards out there, e.g. picatinny and weaver. if you are struggling to get it on still you could use an air-dry lubricant such as GT 86 or a similar PTFE spray or even just a splash of water if the rails aren't steel. if that fails you maybe able to try gently heating with a hairdryer, but hopefully it won't come to that.
  21. So I thought that I would add an update on how my L119A2 build was going. It's about 90% there, it just has a few finishing touches that I need to add. but the basic rifle is great to use and accurate to silly ranges with the .36 BB's. ?
  22. I am aiming to, I currently am in the process of building at 10" L119A2 and then will probably build a second 16" for some long range action ?
  23. really, it says on their website it's made and designed in Denmark? although it may just be assembled there... see the bottom of the 2018 tech spec. although it wouldn't be the first time that a company has played fast and loose with the facts. http://Technical information 2018 Revision - ActionSportGames actionsportgames.com › Download › 004... they do seem to get involved and care about their reputation a bit though which is more than a lot of Airsoft companies these days. plus they import some interesting rifles, including my m40a5 even though that's actually manufactured by VFC.
  24. I was under the impression that the Evo is the only range of guns they actually make. (they claim that it is made in Denmark as opposed to out the far East) this information may be out of date now though. otherwise it is just rebranding things, sometimes with some extra qc thrown in there if they feel like it.
  25. the idea of panic reloading in games makes me sweat about just thinking about it ? the drum mag now makes complete sense.
