Is it just me or does it seem like we've got loads of new members, most of whom seem content to tack nondescript comments on to lots of threads, but with no real value or knowledgeable input. Obviously the biggest concern is scammers trying to appear legitimate by getting their post counts up, do we need more screening or restrictions on new members ?

Weekender ?.......... More milsim with tactical objectives etc ? & less of the usual "in your face" non stop firefights of a regular game day ? If that's the case then I'd say mids/Lo's ftw, gives a more authentic element to the event.

Couldn't tell you, I stopped buying them a couple of years ago, not because of any disappointment with them, I'm a BIG reader, & I realised that I had so many mag subscriptions on numerous shit, Airsoft/motorcycles/other shit, that half of it was going unread, & costing me an arm & leg to boot, so purged the lot, currently get one mag regularly now, bike mag called BUILT, some nice custom bike projects etc (shows I'm getting old, used to be about getting everywhere quickly, now's it's "take yer time but look good doing it") lol🤣

Yeah some of the glaring typos were inexcusable, clearly no proof checking, as for the mix of adverts & reviews that I'd query, all the mags seemed to be guilty of that, money is money, wherever it comes from. Yep, if a site organiser/owner runs more than one location, there's nothing to stop them allowing use of all their locations to count towards ukara qualification, after all it's the same owner that then registers you. One thing to ensure is if they have a form to log your 3 games, you don't want to approach them after playing the said 3 games, only them to deny knowledge of your attendances.

Lol, yeah the cynical side of me assumed that from the off, they'd better put it away for a rainy day, reckon even if the event goes ahead, threads like this (which I'm sure there'll be more elsewhere) are gonna make people think twice, this event & stuff in the future.

Thing is, given that they've had mixed reviews at previous ai500's, not entirely sure why they would contemplate another event with the potential to be such a monumental screw up, the fallout will screw with their future client base massively. We can all see it, why can't they ?

🤣Trust, in Airsoft lol, I stopped trusting feckers when my team turned up at longmoor for a game that had been very publicly advertised as lo-caps only, with ammo limits, only to find we were pretty much the only people not using hi-caps, it was a badly run hosefest & we vowed never to return.

Sorry to hear you've had a slightly poor service, thought I'd add my tuppence worth, I've also ordered from them twice, both times prices were very good (probably had a deal on🤔), & turnaround time was around a week at most. To be honest though, my orders would have been for bog standard .20's , were your orders for much heavier bb's ?, often in short supply ?

as it should be uk wide 😡, well done to the Welsh (& Scots ?) for securing such a set up, although does make you wonder why England couldn't manage it.
