Guys, no personal attacks please. Very few sites are shit, how they're run is often the issue, BUT Usually the biggest problem are some of the players themselves, wannabe tough guys/teams with overinflated ego's that think they're better than they actually are, or downright cheats, & if a site fails to quickly nip this shit in the bud, a poor site reputation soon follows.

@Grave Squirmer sorry mate, we're having a massive problem with the classifieds, proffrink has literally just made a thread explaining what hes doing to resolve the issues. i would consider deleting old ads as they are being made live again by the system, but an alternative temp solution that might work, maybe try to edit your most recent completed advert to show the new item you want to sell. Its not perfect as its likely to be down the listings but if people are searching for something it should appear ? I've literally just sold a rig that was buried deep in the classifieds listings.

Definitely don't load it up with game day kit, while its technically not illegal, if a concerned member of the public reports concerns & you're stopped & searched, weird questions will be asked & you, & by definition, airsoft, will be looked at unfavourably. Plus while the kit isn't illegal, pretty sure there are laws regarding causing fear etc to the public, which could be used to charge you. Don't leave the house wearing it, travel to a suitable area where walking/running is the norm, & load the vest up with tins of beans or bags of sugar, more than enough to test its suitability. Or you do what we did in the forces, adjust to fit, load up with kit, & jump up & down in your "billet", if it feels secure, leave it til gameday.

I think what he means is how you applied AI to your gun pic, is it just an AI generated pic of how you would like your gun to look, or have you used it for something more technical, such as generating files for a 3d printer that then produced the item ? Obviously i understood entirely, im just asking for a friend 😉

The issue for many isn't his feedback, its his usually absurd claims on what he's selling versus RRP, many of which have been disproven. Plus almost everything he sells he claims is new, but isn't prepared to offer any warranty. & if he's only taking f&f or bank transfer, that's a massive 🚩 if you end up with a 🍋.

Welcome back, I always say that Airsoft is like the mafia, no one ever really gets out lol. Please take your time to acquaint yourself with the forum rules, in particular the rules regarding airguns, can't be sold or even discussed here. Other than that, enjoy🍻

If he's that kinda guy, & i mean it the nicest way, he needs to swallow his pride or park his ego, if he's going to survive & prosper, the fact that he's previously asked you to Marshall for him shows an element of trust, maybe its worth having another go at constructive critique, if not in person then a call or maybe even an email, explaining where you think he's gone wrong with the layout & how he could gradually improve it, maybe by recycling or reconfiguring some of his structures that have negatively affected the games ebb & flow. Don't get me wrong, don't know the guy, nor have I played his sites, but like you I've played lots of other sites, some great & some dreadful, & sometimes the bad ones have enormous potential but are badly run, crap staff, shite game scenarios, or alternatively amazing enthusiastic staff but the site layout/size/location makes decent play untenable. But none of us want to see a sites demise, we've lost too many already to development etc😢, especially cqb themed.

Do you think it can be fixed with regards to layout etc ?, or is it just not "fit for purpose" due to the aforementioned ? If its the former, maybe people need to give him feedback in the form of constructive criticism ?, help him get back on track🤞

Thats a real shame, for both you & the organisers. I'll be honest & say that if he's not getting the numbers he needs on a day when the weather forecast is pretty good, he needs to have a good hard look at his business, either aspects of the site & gameplay, or his calendar schedule if its running gamedays that conflict with his nearest (& possibly better ?) rivals ?
