Sure, it's required by the The Imperial Infantryman's Uplifting Primer. The lighter and cheaper the better. I don't even go as fancy as MICH 2000s, the M88 / PASTG toys are good enough for the likes of me. US $13.70 / £10.29 delivered from Ali Express on my last one.

Did Tokyo Marui assign him a waifu who flew it over and personally lubed his slide?

This is my point. What matters is what happens on site, on the day. Both in terms of what players do, and what marshals and site owners do in immediate response. I'm sticking with my view that time served, good-at-the-job door security make the best site staff. It's much the same skillset: being friendly and welcoming while spotting potential problems, sounding them out and heading them off early, and ultimately being prepared to say "End of discussion, leave now" and mean it. Back your local bouncers.

He's utterly amoral, and he's realised that the airsoft community is very trusting, and ripe for exploitation. He even scammed money off the back of Help For Heroes. This resulted in a criminal conviction, which you might want to mention to PSNI. http://www.thedownrecorder.co.uk/pages/?title=Man_stole_charity_donations

Prices on that are all over the place, from £195 at PatrolBase if they had any, which they don't, through £235 at SurplusStore, to £300 at ZeroOne. Either way though, I don't see how including some random mags and battery, and removing the warranty adds 1/3rd to the highest retail price.

Sadly, I'm not, at all. I'd hope they were, but I doubt it. And I'd expect half of them to be back on the next game day, pretending ignorance, saying "No patch, no problem", or just not giving a toss. I'd like to be wrong about that, but the players who aren't a problem don't need told how to behave, and the players who are don't listen or care - that's why they're a problem. It's not the patches, it's the players. Airsoft sites don't need so many rules, and they don't need so much being said. Actually punt the dickish 5-10% off site, on the day, and all the problems are gone. I say this in the full knowledge that it's far easier said than done, and it's something I've got no interest in putting into action. But that doesn't make it any less true.

Sorry to hear this. Swaps are particularly pernicious as there's no money to be claimed back, although to take it any further you'll need to put a value on what he's stolen from you. https://www.psni.police.uk/crime/fraud/Reporting-Fraud/ to get a crime reference number. https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/recover-debts-owed-you leading to https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/small-claims-process after a letter before action. Or you may be able to claim via https://www.gov.uk/make-court-claim-for-money The very best of luck with it.

She does have form for hanging around airsoft sites getting photographed. I wouldn't ascribe too much critical thought or intent to it. Previously on her LARP-of-a-LARP.

I guess this is a good a thread as any to derail by asking for recommendations for cheap TM Glock 17 plastic slides. I'm pondering downgrade/realgrading the pot-metal slide on my AA R17 as it was struggling a bit in the cold last weekend on green gas. But at £45 for what's probably a plastic slide from Eagle 6, versus £55 for an entire plastic R17 (including a magazine) at Bespoke, it's a bit of a no-brainer to dual wield.

Quite, I know that airsoft is used for tactical training by some agencies and individual trainers, but we don't want the slightest suspicion of that being the "fundamental" purpose of it. I am genuinely concerned that anyone associated with a skirmish site seems to sincerely believe that to be the case. It doesn't appear to be a joke, even lost in translation. Given that the 1936 Act was drawn up in response to the threat of both Brownshirts and Bolsheviks forming paramilitary gangs, and the current security focus on groups like Britain First, I'd like that sort of ideology to stay a lonnnng way away from our toys and sites. They do knuckle-drag among us, and we dodged the Luger with this "European polytheist". Fortunately the airsoft aspect of it never really got picked up by the Daily Wail press.

I agree, and was actually being a bit disingenuous with the ratings. Her natural shots are quite prettyish-girl-next-door. The more stripper-slap she puts on, the less appealing I find her. I can't fathom why women do that, or are paid for doing it. Anyway, I'm sure she'll be devastated to discover that I'm out of her league. She's just going to have to cope though.

Up to a point, and most of us play pretend soldiers to leave real life behind for a bit. Ideally we'd bring nothing to the site except BBs and a magical belief about the accuracy of our toys. However, that's not always possible for all people at all times, i.e. if you have family in an active war zone. I have no idea if that applies to anyone at my local sites, but I wouldn't particularly want to find out by making a point of saying "Offence is taken, not given".

Looks to me like a 5 painted and dressed up like a 7 or 8. I stress that this isn't generalised misogyny, it's very specific to this grifting frippet.
-
Heh, I also wrote essentially the same, then deleted it as "too much information". I completely agree.

Could be worse, this is what you get if you don't have an OnlyFans to pay for your airsoft toy. No sources verified, posted for WTF purposes only. [UPDATE] Reminder that everything that we're currently seeing is "trusted source" propaganda, all the way down.
-
Just another thot. The next picture is of her all geared up next to some KTM enduros, which I assume is all she did. Dressed up, got pictured, got paid, went home. I don't find "Go and risk your life doing what I'm just LARPing" particularly admirable.
-
Thots gonna thot. War is great for propagandists and profiteers. Given the name of the person fronting it, I'd suspect it's a Polish chap who has brought some issues over with him. I really do hope that our gutter press don't pick up on that lunacy, or if they do that they at least focus on the absolutely correct "absolute melt" responses.

It'd have to be a big crowd, and you'd have to sell every item to cover the price. I guess if you really enjoy wheeling and dealing and don't value your own time you might recoup the cost of collecting it, if you live close enough.
-
I generally run my adjustable scope at its claimed minimum of 3x when it's on my DMR. At airsoft ranges, with airsoft accuracy, it's all that I need.
-
I'd emphasise that this means nothing to your potential buyer. They're looking at a used toy with no warranty which might be in anywhere condition from mint, to completely wrecked. The classifieds are full of unsold examples of "nearly new" toys offered for sale at nearly-new prices which nobody feels inclined to pay.
-
If that's a real thing, do you eat it with a spoon?

Well, I now regret wasting my edgy meme after seeing what Airsoft Cardiff have been up to.
