Its a deep rabbit hole, believe me 😆 Are you looking for you/kids just to play in garden or also to play at actual airsoft events? Looking for any particular style of rifle/pistol?

Most airsoft pistols will fit a suppressor/tracer of 11mm (14mm is for rifles) But you'll have to make sure the pistol has a threaded barrel as some don't. Look for makes including WE, KWC, KWA, KJWorks for gas operated pistols Look for makes including Umarex, Cyma, JG for electric pistols or rifles For pistols you'll have to spend over £60 to get anything half decent in electric (AEP) For rifles you'll have to spend £80 and up (AEG) bbguns4less is not the place to get anything good... Try Patrolbase, BespokeAirsoft or AirsoftWorld

Yeah @atomicy, sorry to say those aren't actual airsoft guns but toy versions. They don't have the same specs for barrel threads

That's a copy of the ACETECH Lighter S It should fit any pistol or rifle. It comes with an adaptor for pistol or rifle. If not then send it back
  6. Pretty much has all been said. Personally I would say a good age to start would be 13 up Pain is subjective but yes, it certainly can sting if hit on skin. (I have bled a bit from a hit on the forehead) Also bear in mind that players can be quite intimidating when attacking. If they're kids that aren't bothered by scrapes and bumps in everyday play then they should be OK. Most sites will require them to have full face protection. Don't buy anything except good ankle support hiking boots. Rent for the first 3 game days. (Face protection, clothing and guns provided usually with some BB's included) This will make sure you don't waste any money if they don't like it AND after you play 3 game days you can be registered with a UKARA number which will allow you to buy realistic black guns (Realistic Imitation Firearm [RIF]). If you don't have UKARA membership then you will not be able to buy a realistic black gun but only one painted red, green or blue (Imitation Firearm [IF]).
  7. Well, guess what... My Mk3 broke too. 🙄 Same failure as well. The pin on Part 30 holding the actuating spring. (Its a ridiculously fragile design) And I've hardly fire it at all I've emailed WE UK but no reply so far. @Cyberlawyer did you get yours sorted? I ordered spares from KYairsoft Parts 30 and 31 Came to £10 including post
  8. I'd say 'Excellent job on that' And I do like my things worn 😁
  9. Time for the dirty old man to show up 😱 ...me after a day of airsofting 😆
  10. Where is this place? I want to be scammed! (I have no money in my wallet anyway) 😄
  11. Welcome Try having a look here: (May be out of date) Or search 'airsoft' in google maps
  12. I presume the gas is leaking out of the bottom. (Fill valve) The seal may need replacing but you can try to rejuvenate it with silicone oil first. Make sure there is no gas left by pressing the knocker button at the top rear of the magazine. (Where the hammer strikes) Slide off the base plate and then unscrew the valve. Once out you'll see the rubber seal which you can apply some silicone oil to. Then screw it back in. If that doesn't work you can either get an o-ring kit or measure what you need and order the same size.
  13. As Impulse said, better to rent and get a feel for the game. This will help you decide what kind of kit you want to buy and with UKARA you'll be able to get a proper looking gat. Use this down time to read as much as you can. There are plenty of useful posts on this forum.
  14. That's very good to hear. Hopefully the days of swelling BBs are gone
  15. Oh no 😖 Would be worth emailing weairsoft.com to see if they'll send a replacement.
  16. Looks like a good place. Unfortunately too far for me to go 😟
  17. I've heard of this kind of thing before and I agree with Cyberlawyer. Not in the spirit of the game and if done too often it endangers the true walking dead. It can be hard enough telling friend from foe with walking dead from both teams going back and forth. (Many don't have their hand up for more than a few metres) Imagine if it became a trend by certain people, the games would descend into chaos and practically unplayable.
  18. Yes, proper CNC would be best. I think they use a laser engraver for that. Will be interesting to hear what your local place can do.
  19. I think its worth getting a local engraver to do it. Make sure they have reference images because they don't have a clue what it should look like. Check the font they will use. I'm happy with mine which cost £20 but I know the font is a bit wrong and its not very deep. I took the slide to show and ask if they could do it. Unfortunately mine was done with a diamond tip etching method so not very deep. Ask if they actually engrave it. https://airsoft-forums.uk/topic/3820-gun-picture-thread/?do=findComment&comment=410801
  20. After a bit of wear and an engraving service (I know the font isn't quite right but I'm happy with it) I also improved the hop so it shoots 0.25 quite well.
  21. Keep us updated with the results 👍 I improved mine by adding a thin layer of superglue on top of the nub rubber piece which evens out the pressure and it now shoots 0.25 quite nicely.
