  1. Not sure if these need 7.4v or 11.1v (I'd always go for 7.4v to be safe but someone will confirm) I'd suggest something like: https://www.vapextech.co.uk/airsoft-7-4v-2600mah-25c-lipo-cranstock-battery-with-case-lp305-vapextech The Milliampere Hours (mah) determines how much total power a battery holds (ie how long it will last) The C rating determines how much power it can deliver per trigger pull (20c is the lowest and 30c is usually the highest you can get) Remember you will need a GOOD intelligent charger to take care of these batteries and prevent fire. This is the cheapest I can find with a quick search. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-accucell-us-plug-c150-ac-dc-10a-150w-smart-balance-charger.html
  2. Also to reiterate what Rogerborg said: If you leave something in your basket for over 24hrs they usually offer you a discount.
  3. When I buy from abroad I always include my UKARA with label in the address to make sure it appears clearly on the box. Not had a problem with customs but had to pay taxes a couple of times.

Sounds like the output valve is a bit sticky. You'll need to remove it and clean (possibly replace) the seals. You just need a valve key like THIS.
  5. I bought from them without problems. Make sure you know what you're buying as they do sell some tat
  6. Welcome ✋ You'll have even less time free because you'll be on here so much ?
  7. Welcome ✋ I also started in my 40's to share activities with my son. Of course he rushes off and I don't see him for the rest of the game except in passing to the respawn ? That's the beauty if this sport. We can all enjoy it with different play styles. I think us, more mature players, are better at tactical sneaking around with the occasional banzai charge ?
  8. Wow, I never saw one of those. Takes minimalism to the extreme ?
  9. Yeah add it In the early days it was necessary. Remember when we only had numbers on the keyboard so we had to press several times to get different letters ?
  10. Go ahead ? That's what leads to failure. Partially in the early days, but autocorrect is built into most phones now so it should actually be easier
  11. I'm glad we're helping eachother out ?
  12. I don't want to start a discussion I'm just putting this here for anyone interested in seeing the difference so their messages are clearer to read. Your - Belongs to you Example: Your gear You're - Short for 'You are' Example: You're right There - Referring to a place Example: Lets go over there Their - Possession Example: Don't touch their RIF They're - Short for 'They are' Example: They're going to be surrounded Hope this helps clear things up a bit.
  13. Also check once in a while to make sure it hasn't sold. I've been in a conversation with a few people who just stop communicating without the decency to say its been sold.
  14. The going rate seems to be £299 so the price you had it for seems fair. It just a question of luck if a new player without UKARA wants to buy it.
  15. Generally its better to sell everything separately but of course its more work to take pics. You'll probably have more luck selling here as its more busy. Make sure to put things in the correct category and don't forget to include a paper with your forum name and date. EDIT: I see you listed it already but you did not include the paper with name and date. Best to add a pic with that so it doesn't get deleted. Good luck ?
  16. Sorry, I can't help with the CYMA as I don't have one. You say you haven't bought it yet. Why not buy one with the rail already included? (They will all be compatible with your sight)
  17. I don't know how easy/hard it would be to add a rail to that one you linked. But there are many bolt action (spring) sniper rifles that come with a RIS rail https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-sniper-rifle-all
  18. The width is the same between the two but the Weaver has narrower notches than RIS so if your scope has an indexer bolt it may not fit. https://www.targetbarn.com/broad-side/picatinny-rails-vs-weaver-rails/
  19. Most sites have a shop to buy extras.
  20. For me a perfect day of airsofting would be the same conditions as a perfect day for riding my motorcycle (part of the problem choosing between the two ?) Dry and sunny but not too hot. (Around 15-20c) Sadly now I can do neither
  21. I was happy with the performance of my Specna Arms Edge SA-E03 out of the box
  22. Thanks. They do seem a bit complicated for me tho
  23. Ah yeah, I know the manual way to release it. I'm looking into the Perun.
  24. I'll look into that ?
  25. Welcome ✋ Have a look HERE for sites near you. The usual advice is to rent for your first 3 games so you can then be registered with a UKARA number. (So you can buy realistic black toys Ooh-Er) it will give you a taste for the sport before spending too much money on toys and other things. You'll be able to meet others and ask questions. You'll be able to see shooty toys that other use to get a better idea what you'll want. ...and of course do LOADS of reading here on the forum as most questions have been answered so its just a case of searching ?
