      Could be many things other than hop rubber. Does it happen when the hop is set to minimum? If so it could be hammer the gas system as well

    Anyone got a spare G36 Magwell for a JG/Cyma/TM style G36? I inherited a Cyma G36c with an M4 magwell, but it's not feeding.

    Whats the skinny on Bulldog and Condor Plate Carriers, are they typical AliExpress Rebrand/fare, or something more?

      At the moment I am looking at the following. 

       

      Bulldog Tactical Kinetic PC

      Condor Vanquish PC

      Pentagon Aspsis (I have one in black already and quite like it). 

       

      People claim Bulldog are made in the UK but I find it hard to believe.

    Imagine you're starting a new airsoft site. What would you get for rental rifles?

     

    Whatever you pick, it would have to be:

    - Good value.

    - Sturdy enough to withstand new and inexperienced players.

    - Average performance and range with great consistency.

    - Extremely reliable.

    -Built well enough to not require fussing over and servicing every day.

    - Ideally, just works straight out of the box.

     

    What would you pick? 

    (Yes, this is a roundabout way of saying I'm in the market for a new gun and I need advice lol)

      JG G36. Relatively lightweight, but sturdy plastic with foldable stock. The Stock catch doesn't break if you look at it wrong. Very simple internals. Rugged.

    What's the best stuff to clean tape residue off off a plastic handguard?

      If you cant be bothered to buy something specific, use any sort of deodorant like Lynx and it should break up the sticker residue and use a plastic implement to remove the gunk. I have been doing it for years. (No the smell does not linger on plastic!)

    nyone know who took over Sentinel Airsoft in Dunstable?

      @hitmanNo2 @RogerborgI wonder if its the Mayhem SouthEast people who took over the old Tech Brigade site. They are primarily a Paintball company, but have been doing Airsoft on the side for some time. 

      Though I do see from Sentinels FB page that they are migrating some of the props away from The Outpost to a place in Watford (Reforger or one of the two Red 1 sites maybe).

    Working on my MK23 project, I got it second hand and both mags are leaking. Should I leave bad feedback?

    Also does anyone know what are some good upgrades to add to the MK23? I want a longer barrel as a minimum to fit in the suppressor.

    Back on crazy ideas again, If one was going to use a TM MK23 as a DMR, what would some ideal upgrades be to the internals to handle 1.8~ joules?

      The TM MK23 mags have emergency release gaskets if the gas used is higher pressure then green gas. You need to seal those puppy's up to use anything more powerful.

      To handle it? Seal the magazine gaskets so you can use red gas and install a long inner barrel.

      I was on the fence about buying anything this year. But realised I really needed to buy a Black Tac vest as I only have a tan chest rig at the moment. (Need more body protection!) 

       

      I already knew they had 15% off, saw they had this gorgeous looking Pentagon Apsis Vest. I had to have it! 

       

      Grabbed a few other bits like Grey Hat, Balaclava and a black Dump Pouch.

    Me: "Ruh-roh!" [Types a treatise on why their active voice has created liability for themselves where none existed, and wondering what they'll say when some ambulance chaser asks "So, what exactly qualified you to determine that my crippled client's footware was 'suitable' when it demonstrably was not?"

     

    Also me: [Takes a deep breath, deletes]

     

    They'll find out the hard way, or they won't.  But I doubt they'll believe that trying to do the right thing can create a rod for your own back, until it's whipping them.

      As someone with pretty bad toe arthritis, I do struggle wearing boots. If it is too bad I will end up wearing trail runners and a separate ankle support. Which is better then nothing.

      I got a Guarder Outer Barrel and made the Hop unit "ear" cuts that Maple Leaf did to theirs to prevent wear. I also drilled out the business end of the outer barrel as it was a little bit too small and caused BB's to hit the edge.

      @Cr0-Magnon Yes I have the Gen 2 Guarder kit, so Nylon. You can get them from Rainbow 8. Though only in black. Hopefully Guarder will reissue the other colours at some point as I'd like a full set.

    Thinking either hiking across Dartmoor, or travelling somewhere long distance to play Airsoft this weekend. Anyone got any recommendations on sites that are worth travelling and staying overnight for? Maybe a Saturday and Sunday? Restricted to Public Transport. I was looking at some of the sites in East Anglia. But looking for other suggestions.

      @Tactical Pith Helmet Getting to Tuddenham on Public Transport from Dagenham has always been a no go! I have been before, it's not bad at all. But not worth the ballache. 

       

      @colinjallen I decided against it this weekend. I just did a 17 Mile hike around the North Downs and Lower Weald. I may go Airsoft tomorrow, haven't decided!

    Going to Reforger on sunday - on my tod because my usual airsoft buddy has gun issues - so if you spot a sweaty, out-of-breath dude swearing at a malfunctioning P90, say hi :)

    Just had a look at some CYMA AK47 midcaps.  Several going at around £20, the cheapest being £13 odd after postage.

     

    I'm sure I paid less than £4 per 70 rounder from TG about six years ago.  

     

    First world problem and all that but still.

      And just like that one of the lips on a Cyma AK74 Hicap just tore off. Of course I can't get anything reasonably priced in Rip off Britain! Got these for 4 quid each before. Cheapest I can find it is 13 now.
