  1. They're around £365, new without a scope. Frankly the only thing you actually need is a new spring as they shoot around 1.3j out of the box. So the gun, scope, spring and spare mags should set you back less than £500. It doesn't need any performance upgrades, I was easily outranging AEGs by at least 20m on .4s. The only thing I may change at some point is a new piston to make it a bit quieter but that's by no means a necessity.
  2. Have a look at the VFC or any clones of it. Apart from the hop up and air nozzle it's all standard v2. It's VFC so the internals are arse but there's a lot you can do with it, including a maxx hop and air nozzle. The wiring setup isn't great but you can get in there with a Dremel to hard wire it. Or do what I did and ditch the ugg boot
  3. It was my first time out with a sniper and I really enjoyed it. It made me team up more so make up for my low fire rate and to be properly sneaky. You're right. Who needs camo when you can just be where they're not looking
  4. I only had I think one suspected non hit taker all day. I watched the flight of the BB and I'm pretty sure I heard it impact his inner thigh but he ran off. He took the next one though ASI managed to drop the shot behind his cover and hit him in the head
  5. I had a good time playing with you yesterday. There were a couple of times we linked up as an assault sniper team which was awesome. I was the same, leading from the front with a bolt action, although that's more because this was my first time out with a bolt action, which hasn't been bedded in so I was having to relearn my tactics and learn to trust the gun. It was my first time at Worthing but I'll definitely be back
  6. A good pic from today
  7. Certainly not as extensive as yours but here's my mini mk23 I'm working on. It's a TM USP c with a 3d printed rail and suppressor mount.
  8. An awesome first day back at Worthing airsoft after about 4 years away. I took a few guns out for their first games, my tac 41, VFC MP7 and TM USP c and took the bullpup ak out for the first time in ages. Overall, no complaints. Once the ho bedded in and I dialed in the hop and scope I was nailing people with the tac 41 from way out of their range with .4s. The USP c also ran flawlessly and got a couple of good kills with it. The MP7 was a little disappointing in the morning at the range but once it warmed up it was actually pretty good. I didn't manage to use it in a game though as I only had the one mag. The AK didn't pass chrono but I think that was because of some stray .2s in the mag. I'm not complaining though as it encouraged me to use the sniper. I played a bit too aggressively at first and got shot a lot but as it settled and I started to trust it more I was able to push the ranges further. My absolute highlight was flanking hard to the south side right at the bottom of the site. I got behind the enemy held objective and cleared it out single handedly. I pushed in with a couple of others and we captured it with 30 seconds to go, winning the game for our team. I thought I'd gotten away relatively unscathed right up until I got nailed in the head by a sniper in the final 2 minutes. He came over and apologized after but I was all laughs about it.
  9. It is indeed
  10. Viper single strap shoulder bag. Needed something lightweight for shipping and didn't want a regular chest rig. It's got molle on the street do I can put my mag pouches there
  11. Just mags and a scope
  12. Ready for tomorrow
  13. Got my first game in years tomorrow. Trying out sniping for the first time.
  14. I got my dad the tactical dad one. Annoyingly he doesn't have any bloody velcro on his kit
  15. You're probably not going to like this then ?
  16. I was looking at one of these for a similar setup. It seems like a better designed bandolier than most however I can't find anywhere that has one in stock. https://www.safarasoftair.com/en/tmc-bandoliera-monospalla-molle-nera
  17. My altberg boots have been with me for years through snow, festivals, work and hiking as well as audit games. They're really well made, comfy and supportive. The only thing is suggest is get half a size larger and wear padded socks
  18. I've been got in the forehead by a tri shot from a less than 10m before. Definitely felt that one lol. Had a predator style triangle on my forehead for days
  19. That was mesmerising... Ah that's better. No more red. Although I was a little tempted to leave some of it as weathering
  20. If you want to go gas, generally the best suggestion is a TM mws with the brass nub, npas and modified trigger. For AEG you're not going to see much difference in top performance so just go for something that you like. I'm building mine from a VFC SCAR H
  21. Just thought I'd dress it up with bits I've already got. It needs a bigger scope, a more solid bipod and to get rid of the red paint. Then I think I just need a stronger spring and a couple of spare mags and it's ready to go to a game.
  22. Haven't made anything yet but my work got one of the best resin printers you can get last week. Being the only one trained to use it they're letting me use of for my own stuff so I should be able to make the toughest and highest quality airsoft prints available.
  23. And it's here! Can't wait to start printing stuff for this. (yes I know "two-tone, reee")
  24. I loved my kwc 1911 but it's too heavy to be a sidearm really
  25. While you're right about the pricing of this I think what people are laughing at is that it's not going to perform much better than a £200 cyma with £200 of upgrades. I'll admit I've put more into my M4 than that but it's been built from the ground up to be exactly what I want. I can't see many people paying that much for something that isn't unique to them in some way
