it could be the C rating of the battery. everyone on here who has posted battery pictures are all C30+. it would be interesting to know the C rating of your battery. Some batteries list the C rating but its actually the B rating, for example a B rating of 60 amps would mean it had an actual C rating of 30., but some labels will say 30C but actually mean 30B and this really means 15C. If you are running a battery with a C25 rating then it actually might only be 12.5C and you would have issues with prolonged longish bursts and the battery would drop output and the marui mosfet unit might sense it as a low battery.

you can get them from Korea. I ordered a K1 and fitted a gearbox to it. they are cheap but that's because they are made of plastic and creak worse than a TM Famas. I still like mine though. Check the link for available models. http://707arsenal.com/product-tag/ts-airsoft/

I've just ordered a VFC GBB fixed stock as I think that will fit as well. VFC stocks can be found on wgcshop at around £46.
-
As mentioned the Systema TW5 fixed stock fits with a little bit of not so gentle TLC.

Best out of the box AEG Rifle for <£500?
mightyjebus replied to Werdna's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
you are all mad. Double Eagle M904 + some mags + Hookers + Blackjack - £500 = win. -
it won't fit. you would be better buying a RS stock as this should slip straight on or with a very small amount of filing.

you can get flexi-resins now and I use them when printing parts that need to take a bit of abuse. I usually add it (20% ish) to the normal resin to get a semi flexible print.

final design. this is pair number 5. the mount works on Edgewear SSE611-TT and ESS ICE frames.

i don't think so. most of the yahoo auctions come back as blocked due to shipping so it might be sendico's policy to block RIF shipments

Ho-Ho-Ho now I have a machine gun! well actually I've had the gun for a while but only one magazine. If anyone is looking for mags (not the 72 bb version as these are like rocking horse pooh at the moment) then try sendico. Sendico is a Japanese site that buys stuff for you that you normally can't buy from Japan. You need to sign up and add funds to the wallet to make purchases. The way it works is you find an item on their site, which browses all the Japanese retailers, and click buy. They charge you 500 yen per purchase (about £3.30) and then buy the stuff for you and give you a quote for shipping. Shipping just took me 10 days with EMS from Japan. If you shop around you can find the 200 hicaps for as cheap as £21. it's also worth mentioning that if you buy 1 magazine from 1 place they will charge you £3.30 but if you buy 4 mags from the one place they will still only charge you £3.30 Also watch out as the old MP5 mags are usually listed as standard and the new recoil mags are listed as next-generation. here's an example: https://www.sendico.com/rakuten/item/konan:11354709 I've got another 3 hicaps on the way and expect them to be delivered this week some time.

I converted some batteries to MR30 connectors and made a few leads to give me some options to run different batteries if needed.
-
no, not the first version. plan is to get this one working then work on the bolt stop.
-
chances are the block on the back of the piston that drives the recoil weight back has snapped off. take the front pin out and seperate the upper from the lower. on top of the gearbox you will see a little hook that goes inside the gearbox and catches the piston as it travels back. if the piston has snapped then you should find the broken bit rattling around inside the gearbox

I'm a long time TM owner and user and I have to say the MP5A5 is probably the best AEG TM have ever produced. I have a Systema TW5 and a GBB VFC MP5SD and the TM build quality is as good, if not better, than these other 2. The selector switch is outstanding and has a really solid click. the range and ability to hop .28g's out the box is awesome. Comparing it to the older TM MP5's and it's like chalk and cheese. The older models feel toylike in comparison. People will always look for negatives with a new toy and the lack of stock, in the shops, for the AEG or the Mags will disappear soon enough. The AEP hop rubber and barrel will be catered for by the aftermarket companies soon enough and the only part I don't think is very good is the cocking tube attached to the cocking handle as it is plastic and might break after too many MP5 slaps. I think Laylax or someone else will be onto this quite soon and we will see a metal one soon enough. It will be interesting to see which model they bring out next. MP5SD? MP5K? and after another MP5 varient I'm hoping they do a G3 using the same gearbox.

I took mine apart today to see about fitting a AEG tightbore. Turns out the new MP5 uses a inner barrel and hop rubber similar to a GBB.

nice L22. I might have a photo floating around somewhere, from Afghan, that shows the L22 with the Surefire 4 prong flash hider and a folding front grip instead of the HK. I'll dig it out if interested.

initial design is finished and now printing parts and tweeking the design as I go along.

looking to make it a complete magazine that only needs a spring

when the lack of spare magazines drives you to making your own......

G&P RIS Rail and G&P scope mount fit fine. A saddle bag 7.4v Lipo can be fitted in the front RIS however I might need to shorten the wires slightly for it to look a bit better. *edit - A suystema TW5 full stock will fit with a bit of dremeling or sanding.
-
it's quite tall so full face masks should be able to use it set up like this.

sadly the ASG B&T Rotex silencer doesn't fit over the DE flash hider. Just means I need to swap flash hiders over whenever I want to run tracer inside the silencer.
