Just to chuck a spanner in the works for you I tried a rapid assault a while ago(a mate was kind enough to lend me his when I was looking for a chest rig)and I found it to sparse as is only holding mags and a bit ungainly when it had pouches on it so I ended up getting the condor Recon chest rig and it was perfect for what I wanted , nice and light but just enough pouches to hold my extra bits but without feeling awkward like the assault was with the extra pouches on it .

God knows I just cribbed of the swatty looking fecker sat next to me ! 😇

Most definitely this , when you come down to it I do believe TM are still about the only airsoft producer you can really expect two same model and run guns to side by side perform equally , if anything simply due to the manufacturing standards they enforce . I would think the biggest mechanical variable affecting uniformity is the fact the BB is traveling down an oversized smooth bore tube so no two BBs will have the same journey down it . So once you chuck questionable QC in to the pot as well ? 🤔

Very true , but I think that’s more to do with the bottom lip being much thicker than the top and the bottom teeth are so much more smaller than the top teeth hence there the bigger target ? Have only seen bottom teeth partially taken out once , was in the FIBUA village up at SENTA and guy was shouting to his team mates to watch the 1st floor windows of a building when someone lent out and fired down and hit his centre lower teeth(rather ironic to say the least !)and cracked big chunks off of two of them .

As laughing boy alluded to yes barrel length doesn’t make a lot of difference to the range you’ll achieve(obviously if you’ve got an M4 with a barrel the length of a pistol even the cheapest ‘normal’ M4 will out range you !) the really crucial thing is the hop set up in it . I’ve got a couple of Jing Gong/Golden Eagle(same company)guns at the moment and have had a good few in the past and they are good for the money , my son has a JG Sig 552 and we’ve not touched tHopefully and it’s still got cracking range on it and I’ve recently changed the hop unit bucking and nub in a GE M16A2 as I thought the range/accuracy was a bit ‘meh’ and as it’s now starting to bed in the range is just creeping on out further and further . Been running it in my back garden which is just under 100ft and I’m now consistently hitting a red brick that’s end on in the centre of a bock wall at the top of the garden with aimed shots .

BUT I’d argue the point that this is an essential part of the discussion of there use in Airsoft as so many players simply don’t know what there actually designed for and are using them under the misconception that gumshields will protect all there teeth when in fact it won’t ?

Gumshields in airsoft are Just another example of miss use of a product through either lack of knowledge or lack of sense ? There designed to protect the user from blunt force trauma wether direct(a punch) or indirect(a tackle in rugby)for example which could slam the jaws together . They wern’t designed to protect from small object impacts traveling at any kind of velocity . Yes they will protect a large section of your teeth(but saying That the few times I’ve seen teeth get damaged the person was speaking and as most take there gumshields out to speak ?)from potential damage but not the soft tissue of your mouth so I’ll stick with my mesh mask thanks .👍

Can totally appreciate the obvious build quality and tech work you’ve put in to it(it does looks really impressive) BUT my eyes almost bleed every time I see a classical ‘old school’ gun get modernised ! 😭 but like the fat lady said , “what ever floats ya boat ?” 😉👍

Don’t think it’s possible to do that it’s just way too bulky , only way your getting the visor any closer to your face is by either creating a whole new attachment system or ditching all the parts for that system and permanently attaching it to the helmet .

Personally ? I think when you come down to it in the end there’s always going to be a high risk you’ll still get shot no matter WHAT you do to try and advertise your a ‘deadman walking’ your always going to have the “there’s movement over there , not got a clue what side there on or if there in play or not But I’ll still open fire on them just in case” players , and the “it’s only a BB gun man up and take it you pussy !” Players on the field so it’s gonna happen . Say’la’vie !🤦‍♂️

Aahh I see , I’ve actually done a similar thing my self for some G36 mags with the plastic rounds you have in G36 real-cap mags . I put them on my printer scanner with a heavy towel over them to isolate them and the actually printed out quite well .👍

In future if any of your kit that can ‘disappear’ has a serial Number take a picture of it to keep on your phone or if not do the same thing by making an indelible mark on it that’ll be easy to miss If you don’t know about it(so nothing to complex) and again take a picture on your phone , that way if it does disappear and then re-appear in someone else’s possession you have proof of ownership.👍
