Oh if only ! ? If anyone on here knows the dragon valley site it was a guy called ‘dibbs’ He was running across the little bridge near the car park , he slipped on a load of soggy leaf mush on the bridge , as he fell forward with his feet shooting out behind him the barrel of his M14 became imbedded in to the bridge , the butt stock rammed into his gut and the poor lad pivoted over the top of it with the gun following until it couldn’t go any further due it being jammed in to the semi rotten wood and snap went the gun ! ? THEN we had much smoke , sparks , popping and hissing noises coming from now well and truly borked M14 !?

Hahaha ! Only catastrophic LiPo failure I’ve ever come across was after a mate pole vaulted on his M14 and broke it which caused the electrics to go tits up ! Was very amusing seeing his very bent looking gun laying on the floor spouting smoke and sparks ! ?? a mate pole vaulting on his M14

All I run now in all my guns (bar my G&G AFV it needs a tiny 11.1v to fit the silly sized batt space!) no real reason bar there a ‘wee’ bit more forgiving than LiPo’s as to how you care for them ! ?

Not Airsoft related but of the same train of WTF , few yrs ago did a trek in the Sahara for help for heroes . We arrive at Gatwick to fly to Morocco supposedly ready to go straight on to the trek , two people with us one of whom had a large expedition holdall (was on the kit list to carry all your kit on the transport from stop to stop) with there kit in it , Someone pointed out the Cotswold label dangling off it and said “hopes she’s tested her kit first !” Arrived in the Moroccan camp that night AND everything that came out of the bag was still wrapped up from when she’d bought it all 2days before so no she hadn’t ! And the other ? They had all there kit in what you can only describe as a hotel/hospital linen bag ! So yes some people DO have no concept of preparation! ?‍♂️

New compact gun bag from Gunfire (part of a team order) down from £30’somthing to £10.51 , wasn’t expecting much but greatly impressed me once it arrived ! you can carry two compact guns in it , plus the mags AND it even has a concealed shoulder strap so you can sling it courier style ! ?

I’d go with £120-30 my self , even though it’s a discontinued LTD edition pistol it’s still 3rd hand and does have a very ropey history AND it’s going to cost a bomb to get it even close to an acceptable appearance again ?

Have been contacted by the fraud dept , given them the evidence I had so see what happens ?

Further to the on going saga that is this holster for sale , he had it up on Fleabay starting bid a tenner buy now £50 i bid £10 , no one else did so I won for a tenner , he then cancelled the sale (obviously wanted more for it !) stating it was ‘out of stock or damaged’ BUT it’s still for sale on here for £40 so I’ve contacted Fleabay and am just waiting now for the fraud dept to contact me about it ! ?

Yea did read that bit , was always under the impression Airsoft guns wern't covered by air rifle ‘rules’ even though they use compressed air to fire the projectile, hence I didn’t mention that section . Live and learn ?

Totally agree , you just don’t sell an ‘as new gun’ for a loss just because “it’s not fitting my game style” ? Sorry there’s a ‘real’ reason your selling it so soon . These days unless the seller has a ‘trackable’ Airsoft related on-line footprint (forums/Facebook/etc) I just won’t buy from them unless they say things like “selling cheap as X,Y,Z isn’t working or it’s old and worn out, etc” and basically are up front about poor condition and equally are asking a price to match the condition , then yes I may take the chance if it’s something I really do want . Take the TM recoil G36 I recently bought , was going very cheap on Prefired but the seller was up front with an accurate description of its condition so I was happy to risk taking a hit to get it running tip top .
