You can get after service silicon washers that pop in the filler hole that stop this happening with TM mags , bought some a few yrs ago(don’t even bother asking for a link or name can’t remember where from 😉) that’s stops the gas venting as your filling your mags . 👍

As to the longevity of it wouldn’t have thought it’ll be firing that much(compared to ‘normal’ use of a gearbox)that you’d get that much degradation to it ?

Helped a friend mount a glock AEP on a drone once , basically mounted it upside down with the pistol grip cut off , a short length of loading tube epoxy’ed to the feed slot of the barrel and used a fruit shoot bottle cut down as the feed hopper . It was a big ass professional grade drone mind .

100% agree with you , most marshals on site are there with the best intentions to try and keep the day safe and ensure everyone has a great day(and make a few beer tokens from there favored hobby as well) but any man and his dog can stick a hi-vis jacket on and say I’m a marshal . Mine are up in the attic as well I just got a couple of lengths of 2x3 battening , a load of cheap bike hooks(the ones you use to hang push bikes up off the ground)from fleabay , screwed the battens to the roof trusses then spaced the hooks along them to hang up the ones I’m currently using . All the rest are in there original boxes or gun bags , gun socks or hard gun cases if I haven’t got boxes for them .

For ‘normal’ speed loaders I’ve got a 10yr old TM stanag magazine one that’s still going strong . if your not bothered by the price get an Odin and a universal adapter for it , you can get mag specific adapters for them but I find its easier to just have the universal on in it and just hold it against the mag like a normal loader .

Just had a quick look at how to report dangerous goods to trading standards , I know they have to have precautions in place to stop malicious complaints but F**k me sideways it’s ridiculous the hoops you have to go through !
