I did basically the same thing with one I had as a project , I used a motorcycle helmet visor cut to shape and then stuck adhesive Velcro around the catch , made a small panel out of shaped kydex to go over it and job done . Another thing you can do is drill a small hole horizontally through the top section where it hinges up and put an Allen key in it (a slightly larger one than the hole so it’s a tight fit and won’t come out by accident) no way that’s opening by accident! Ps you mite be hard pressed to get goggles underneath the visor , I have difficulty getting my normal glasses to sit comfortably and they have quite small frames as well .

Unfortunately bud just goes to show why you MUST do as much research as you can and NOT just buy the first one you find , which unfortunately a hell of a lot do these days (hence all the “where’s can I get XYZ from that’s cheap ?” Type posts over and over again) which I think is also what a lot of these type retailers hope and rely on . ?

I’d recommend getting some revision sawfly lense wipes , give the visor a once over before each game and it ‘should’ help a fair bit . Another thing you could try as well is drilling small holes in this area of the mask on both sides to increase the airflow.

Only problem i can see as there designed to be used vertically not angled almost horizontal like you’ve got them is A; your going to get a lot of noise bleeding in to the cups (rather defies the the point of the noise canceling function) and as they aren’t designed to be used in that orientation there going to press on your ears and get painful as hell very quickly . Sorry bud ?

In all seriousness mate the reason that a lot are getting agro is to put it bluntly you lied , you said brand new when clearly it isn’t and then when confronted over the scratches you admitted it’s been tested so no way in hell is it ‘brand new’ by any stretch of the imagination but you still denied it’s not new . The nearest you’ll get to brand new is still in the un-opened packaging with the receipt that you had from ‘bbgunzisbestest’ or who ever less than a wk ago taped to the outside of the box and even then a large majority of the community still won’t accept its brand new because it’s left the retailer as you bought it so that makes it nearly new but not brand new . AND that is why your getting all this shit slung at you . Savy ?

Think the point he’s making is that yes it is incredibly easy to do so , so why don’t ALL sellers do it themselves ? When I sell anything the price I always ask is all in P&P/PP fees as do all the guys I know and to be honest when browsing through the adds the second I see “buyer pays etc’ I instantly loose interest and move on to the next add unless I’m after something very specific and there’s is the only one I can find .
