  1. Of course a bloody BB rebounds and hits my TV... Well, that isn't usable any more

Ouch! sorry to hear that man-

      Reminds me of this:

It was a 34" Bush one so not too big of a loss, but still a pain in the ass. Happy I didn't shoot the 50" one in the living room though! That would have put me in a very bad situation. Tell you what though, those TM glocks sure do make a dramatic impact!

Ah yes, that is the video that popped into my mind instantly and I must say, I felt like a right bellend. On the bright side, it was time for a new TV sometime soon for my room anyway! On the not so bright...

...side, I'm broke! Damn it. Well lads, let this be a lesson to not be a bellend and underestimate the bouncing capabilities of a BB from a ridiculous angle.

  2. Anyone recommend a set of iron sights (rail mounted)? Not looking to break the bank though!

  3. Is there a reason why I am always seeing people selling L85s? Not that I'd ever ( EVER) want one, but there seems to be a lot of them being sold. Any particular reasons?

The look of that gun has never really appealed to me to be honest! What is the heaviest point of it?

    3. BBrotherwood

      BBrotherwood

For the same reason lots of people sell M4s. Lots of people buy an L85 and suffer from ooh shiney syndrome and go for something else later on. Its a popular replica so your naturally going to see it for sell more.

    4. Avionyx

I think it's something that suits a particular style of play/player.

The weight and firing position of the gun don't suit everyone and I think people don't always take that into consideration before buying.

I personally find M4's very uncomfortable to use yet my G&G L85 just seems to fit well.

I suspect for those people that are used to using an M4 or similar type of stance they may find the L85 strange and as such it could negatively af...

  4. Does anyone have a Glock hammer? The one in mine has broken and I desperately need one! Thanks

Needs to be Marui compatible by the way

  5. Picked up my Vector with 3 mags! Incredibly happy :D Great piece of kit.

  6. Buying a Vector tomorrow from a guy that happens to live on the same (long) road as me! Sounds like it needs a bit of attention, but it'll be fine. Very happy

Might be able to get the other mags. Someone offered on my TM G18C but I have to wait until the morning to talk to him about it. If it sells, then I will have the Vector and a few mags! Also a LaRue 12" M4 rail maybe

      b1n0gHo5t

well best of luck with it all if i ever get round to passing bike test i may get round to buying mp7 or ump 45 gbb XD

    4. MILITATED

      MILITATED

If I didn't get a Vector, I'd definitely have went for the MP7. I just like SMGs that look completely different with an extended mag (such as the Vector/MP7)

  7. Anyone interested in a M2000 RDS + 3x magnifier (both from airsoftworld) for £55? Need money ASAP! M2000 alone as £45 new

  8. It seems that after you enlighten people to the average sale price of a gun (when they're trying to get twice as much), they tend to act extra childish. Who is going to pay £160 for the cheapest combat machine with barely anything else with it?

Will see how it plays out, if it isn't so good, then I will turn to KWA

  10. Anyone fancy getting me a KWA Kriss Vector?

  11. Any G&P M4 outer barrels knocking about?

    1. proffrink

      proffrink

They are actually rather cheap to buy overseas. WGC has a huge range of them for about £20-40 (depending on style).

  12. Gotta recommend IPostParcels for airsoft stuff - they have no problems and always deliver in like a day or 2 (even with their 72hr services). Used them 5 times (2 RIFs/rest accessories) and twice they've delivered in under 24 hours!

  13. Anyone got an armourer's tool laying around?

  14. Anyone know how to price parts like complete M4 bodies?

I looked at the 416 receiver issue and realised some some other 416 front ends don't always align perfectly with others, then some have had receiver thread problems too. So even with my bits n bobs I said wtf and bought a £140 bi-8001 to tweak

    3. MILITATED

      MILITATED

Yeah Lozart, that is exactly what I meant by all parts :) Thanks for helping, it was actually the sort of price range I was expecting (the bloke that sells all the M4 parts estimated between £50 - £70 depending on condition). Ah yes, this is definitely an expensive mofo to me! Great bit of kit though. I basically bought it because of the handguard! I then found a similar one on eBay (it is pretty much the same thing but lower quality). It is pretty much complete aside from t...

...aside from the handguard which I am using for my new build, and maybe the grip, but I can just leave that on the BW15 and buy a similar one. Absolutely love the gun to bits, but I am trying to build a 'suited up' looking gun.

  15. Each time I near the end of my airsoft build, I always seem to find more, very expensive things for it! Damn it

  16. Anyone know where I can find the screws that attach the grip to the gearbox?

      cyrexx

I would recommend getting some flanged dome head screws. They will hold the grip better.

    3. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

There are "roofing" types of bolts m3 about 6mm or 8mm that will suffice as well, large flanged heads but flat head screwdriver. You need bolts not self tapping screws. M3 bolts

    4. Qlimax

      Qlimax

I use those screws myself they are perfect and hold nicely. A lot of the bolts are Allen key heads from what I found and it's much easier having a Phillips head to screw in than messing with an Allen key.

  17. And so the longest suppressor has arrived. Very interesting! Now just to wait for my stock!

  18. Anyone possibly interested in a T1 Aimpoint replica and suppressor package? Going cheap, need gone

Alright nice. What should I send a gas pistol + 1 gas mag by? I was gonna use IPostParcels but their services are down.

      Colonel Kurtz

I was going to send one by royal mail tracked, but no idea if that's the cheapest or best, just the easiest for me.

ipostparcels "seems" ok to me atm saying they 12% off summer sale etc...

I used to book it it all online, pay by paypal, then drop off at depot across from where I work that evening save money and 95% next day delivery - good value service I found in the past

  20. So, I asked Tiger111HK a specific question about a product, and they replied with "thank here our site [website homepage link]". 11/10 for customer serivce, gotta say!

  22. You can see some of the winding wheels of the hi cap mags in the movie 28 Weeks Later! Never noticed that before. How often is airsoft used in movies?

    1. Sitting Duck

      Sitting Duck

probably quite a lot, easy to obtain for film makers or defense. Very cheap to buy lots of various models to use - but ffs use mid/low caps or you might as well show the motor height in grip as well

    2. MILITATED

      MILITATED

Yeah can't possibly see a reason for using a hi cap, bit strange really

    3. Hibernator

      Hibernator

All the time! They have to pay for an armorer to be onset if real guns (even blank firers) are used, so any scenes with no shooting tend to use airsoft. Or they will use airsoft and add the firing effect rather than using blanks. Most of John Wick's pistol scenes are airsoft GBB pistols for safety reasons. They digitally added the effects.

  23. Anyone know how to stiffen up a flip up sight cover? One of em' moves a bit too freely for my liking

needle and thread and use the needle to wrap some thread through the hinge around the end of the pin for the hinge. This will add friction.
