Bit blurred, but can't really tell exactly what wrong from the outside anyways. The bent spring etc indicates it's all kinda popped out of place inside, possibly due to abit breaking, hopefully not. Think you'll have to take it apart and see if you can tell where it all goes back. If you're left with spare bits or can't quite workout where it all goes then perhaps some clear focused pics of the inside will make it possible for others to offer advice on what goes where.

If you like the idea of your gun shaking every-time you fire for added sense of realism, enough to pay twice the price for a gun, then get a recoil Otherwise just get a standard version of whatever gun by the same manufacturer for half the price. Other than the recoil engine, there's nothing super-dooper in them that sets them apart from standard guns I personally don't care if my gun recoils, and would consider it a hindrance rather than a benefit, so don't have recoil guns.

I'd suggest P90, or if that's still a little large then MP7. I own both and they're fantastic for CQB; the MP7 is easier/lighter/smaller, but the P90 will work for the woodland range too. Only complaints I've heard about P90 are people breaking hi-cap mags from over-wind, and if you've got long arms the lack of adjustable stock might be a pain in the ass/armpit. MP7 is great gas-gun but poor mag capacity, electric will munch through the tiny batteries and require surgery to use lipo but can get 130rd midcaps and 190 rd hicaps. And as usually I'll suggest Tokyo Marui as manufacturer

Think CM16 cylinder volume will facilitate a 560mm inner barrel? -
Gundam inspired? WTF? someone was watching Gundam and thought i know, I'll make a gun that looks like Lego? By this logic my all-black M4 is inspired by Batman

In airsoft I use 'the farce' more than 'the force' it's similar but not entirely intentional ("omg that actually hit him") -

Ahahaha. Pre-match burrito can clear a room faster than a bfg, and can be used in the safe-zone, although you may need to keep your eye-pro on if you get one with chillies -
Yeah, I think you only really need a vest to spread weight if you're carrying lots of heavy stuff, otherwise belt does the job and you don't get quite as bad patch of sweat underneath lol. Vest is also prob better than belt if you're a portly gentleman and it's hard to get the belt to comfortably sit round your waist. vest will support the weight from the shoulders, belt from the waist, so upper/lower body strength could be considered. I could kick a tree in half but struggle to bend a spoon (non psychically) so i go for the belt.

TBH even if you go to The Mall as a team, you'll spend a lot of the day standing around waiting for each other if you try to stick together and need full comms to stand a chance of it happening. Even with that you'd have to be regular and know the layout very well otherwise the comms chat will go like i often witness; "I'm spawned, where are you guys?" "We're in a shop" or "In the basement" or "Upstairs" "Where exactly" "Erm if you go past this bit and that bit then we're there" "Which bit is that? I can see this bit but not that bit?" "Hello?" (all just been shot) At The Mall it's more a case of turning up on the same day and having a good chin-wag over a ciggy in the breaks between games, or occasionally running into someone you recognize and going in the same direction until one you gets hit. There's no forum team but often see whoose going when. Always happy to help someone find their feet there, and with 100-120 players each weekend (rarely the same ones) you'll have no trouble finding people to tag along with / chat to in safe-zone -
I have a P90 and a go-pro so think I'll def give this a go. Nice one, my compliments to the chef!

New Airsoft player in town looking for some gun advice!

It is a tough choice than can go either way, buy the ultimate gun and risk not liking airsoft, or buy an entry-level gun and end up buying the ultimate one later and making it redundant, or spending more to upgrade the entry level gun to pimped standards (always costs fair bit more to do bit by aftermarket bit than all in one go to start) I'd agree what you suggest is the safer bet, as if you like the game enough to buy a £500 gun you wont mind having a £150 one sat unused in the closet, or can always flog it. Depends how certain you are that airsoft is for you I guess I haven;t seen many people complain about the internals, and never seen anything wrong with them myself. The only complaint/warning i ever see is that you will have issues with TM when you start messing with them, even just a harder spring (which almost everyone seems to get, the guy at Zero One was shocked when i didn't want this option with a new TM, it's like a default for them). Problem is this isn't what it is designed/balanced to do, and TM's work well because this balance has been so finely tuned by them over the years, so TM certainly isn't a tinkerers choice (unless you replace everything with laylax parts or similar and find your own balance). But they are perfect if you just want a tool for the job you dont have to worry about. -

Yeah agreed, I'm happy to pay 10-20% extra knowing it's keeping lots of the people who founded the sport going, rather than get it all dirt cheap in a Walmart forced the local grocer to shut-down kinda way -

Half of the comparative extra expense from TM is in the exchange rate, so don't think they're really that much more expensive, it's just bad economic luck for us. Also it's easier for retailers to profit from anything sold in dollars or made in china so they have to add their margin on to what is an already unhealthy exchange rate. They just keep working, I recently bought a 2nd hand MP7 that looks like it's been lovingly used for a decade and it still works flawlessly. I took it entirely apart and found a couple wear/tear issues in the gearbox that should have stopped it but nope, just kept on trucking. It's not like there's significant extra tech in them or anything, they've just been doing it long enough and well enough to get the manufacturing process sorted and iron out all the little issues between the balance of parts. -
Hehe that is always funny one, as no matter what you look like the "I'm fucking hit" shout always seems to come out in that same tone one used as a teenager to tell ones parents to leave you alone I'm more concerned with getting back to the spawn quickly so get hit after being hit pretty much everytime and doesn't bother me. I get peppered every game and it's doesn't matter how each one the 20-30 red lumps came to be. Is mostly due to not taking the extra time to announce myself enough in a manner that leaves no room for mistakes, but regardless people often panic and don't see the raised arm. Definately, if you're getting pleasure from fucking with people you should probably stop this, torturing insects, cutting the eyes out of pictures of celebrities, stalking your ex-girlfriend and turn yourself in to the nearest looney bin.

Hehehe I don't think demographic has anything to do with it, perhaps if you can divide people into how calm/in control they are, or as Esoterick perfectly puts it how much a bell-end they are, but that isn't the same split as kit/experience. Perhaps rentals are more prone to this as they haven't gotten used to the excitement/rush yet, you'll always get one in a group of them. But plenty people have all the gear and play less often, or don't experience adrenaline in much else in life. As for snobbery, can't we all just get along, or at least shoot each other in an 18th century dueling gentlemanly fashion?
-
I agree if your deliberately aiming for the face with a whole body on show then you're a dick, but I think people should be fully prepared for this happening. Even if it's not hop-related and a whole body on show people are in an adrenaline state of reflex and you'd have to be pretty sociopathic to consciously choose to shoot someone in the head when there's other options. I hope/doubt that occurs much at all and it's more poor aim, poor hop or poor timing. I also think just wearing glasses (not goggles) is an act of laziness and/or vanity, usually done so people can still manage to look down their scopes or because they think it makes them look more pro/realistically soldierish. I'd say people only wear glasses because wearing less is more comfortable, but these people are perfectly happy to clad their body in cumbersome vests and enough spare kit to keep them going all day, so why not extra on the face where it really matters? I've never seen someone wear just glasses without wearing all the cumbersome kit, but also see just as many in all the military gear who wear full face or goggles, so it's no reflection on the military fans in general. Goggles that form a seal around your eyes aren't too bad as your eyes are actually safe, but the ones that sit on your face like sun-glases are just idiocy, even with the lower mesh you've still got huge gaps. I've managed to hit someone in the eye wearing them, got him right on the cheekbone and it bounced through the gap, hit the inside of his glasses and right into his eye, maybe if it wasnt a 250fps gun or heavier ammo it might have been enough to do serious harm. Fortunately it only give him bit of pink-eye and blurred vision for a month or so. I've no sympathy for anyone wearing these, and don't think they have a right to complain about any injury incurred. It should be more possible to get away with just wearing glasses if as Nickh says people set their hop for anything further than the range of their back-garden, but that's still getting away with something, a gamble against sensibility so you can't complain when you loose that gamble. It's a gamble you'll probably win if you play woodland, but cqb is just asking for it. I think airsoft is safer if people are put off doing so, even if that has to be encouraged by groups of rental muppets aiming for the head

3 point sling you connect to a couple points on the gun, front and back, so the gun it supported at both ends and therefore stays more level when not being held. This is more suitable for rifle sized guns. Personally I find this easier to walk around but harder to sprint around compared to single. Single point sling connects to the gun on a single point, the back, so the guns only supported from one end and will hang down towards the floor. More suitable for CQB sized guns, and easier to sprint around with i find. Dont have to get a vest if it seems like too much clothing, can just get a Molle belt (molle is the name of the system used to attach stuff to stuff, essentially two lines of loops), which i find enough room to fit 4 mag pouches on one side and pistol on the other. Essentially you either buy a vest with molle or a belt with molle and then buy and attach the pouches, or you can buy a vest with inbuilt pouches. Most people prefer molle as it's possible to customise/adjust to your ergonomic needs Don't think you've missed anything you'd need to carry during a game, unless you get comms or reusable grenade might need some more pouches. You won't need to carry a spare battery, just swap it at lunch and you'll be all good. You'd prob want to head back to the safe-zone to swap the battery even if it did run-out mid-game.

i wear a pair of small bolle glasses (ones that look like shades) under mine for same reason (minus the forehead trauma, i did manage to inhale a little bit of the BB up my nose though, which lead to me coughing like it was my first cigar or something and embarrassingly the game having to be stopped around me while i spluttered on my own flem. nice.) I'm considering making a hybrid out of my larger bolle glasses and a full head mask, in a similar manner people do with half face mesh and goggles.

I had one similar and took it apart out of boredom, I'm assuming it's the same kind of mechanism. The adjustment works by the tiny laser being mounted on top of a spring loaded plastic bar, when you turn the screw in it pushes down on one end of the bar which like a see-saw moves the laser position. When you loosen the screw the spring provides the necessary force to push the laser back in the other direction. Mine didn't do left and right, guessing it's another bar to push it one direction, and the spring tension push it back in the other direction when the screw is loosened. You mention a spring being bent and the top being out of alignment, my guess is that it's all come loose/ out of position inside and the screw isn't making contact with the bar anymore. If the tops out of alignment then it's probably the springs/bars that have come out of position pushing it out from the inside. If it's possible to take apart (some of these type of RDS are just glued together) then hopefully you can put the bits into the right position. A bent spring shouldn't be too terminal, but if one these bars or similar has snapped inside them might be fooked. Can you post pics of this bent spring and the top bit?

Is that spread out across time or what it took to eventually stop you on one rampage lol

Hehe after a few seconds the humor set it, we were totally tangled up in slings etc. Had a couple of weeks of bad bruising that made each trip to the toilet make me contemplate just cutting it in half and making an airsoft version of this guys main weapon to seek my revenge http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Codpiece_%28New_Earth%29

i started about a foot away when going round the corner but the other guy was right on the corner with barrel raised, him being a foot back would indeed prob made the difference! My only solace is he didn't seem to enjoy having someone knock him over/ fall on top him while moaning and holding their cock either

me too lol - what felt like a reverse passing of a kidney stone. guess wear a box/cup or don't jump round a corner at standing height while someones crouching on the other side.
