  1. It definitely gets worse when they ask you to message for more details or more pictures, as if the seller doesn't understand the burden lies with them. Unless the seller is a masochist or if they have something to hide, why would they only provide more information about the gun privately and repeat themselves doing it?

  2. "Fully upgraded" but nowhere in the description does it state what is upgraded. If you can't be bothered to list what's been done to it, why should I bother to message you to find out? πŸ˜‚

I know - it's a scuffed non RMR cut but still - looks cool. The aliexpress SRO is a lot better than the RMR clones.

  7. Then my suggestion is to undo everything you did then test it, if it works properly then great, then change 1 thing at a time & test, then change a 2nd thing & test, you'll either find where you went a bit wrong and be able to fix it or it'll work perfectly because you were being methodical.

  8. Congrats on the weight loss, as a 6'4" 23st jock I know the feeling when trying to find kit to wear, the trousers won't be a problem if you tie the 'ties at top of your boots level, like others have said...knee pads will help with the bagginess. As you play you'll be glad the sleaves are not clingy & a belt might just drag your trousers further down unless you try braces too. I made sure my holster was attached to my webbing even if it hung lower than my waist as I didn't want my 'britches round my ankles'.

  9. Back at it. Β£700 quid??? Way overpriced. Can get all this for so much less, new! High hopes to trade a dodgy WE for a VFC AK, not doubting though...

  13. Looks like a good set up chap, load your PC up with all the stuff you'd take out into a game before you adjust it so it'll sit right and be comfortable. The belt and harness combo I use is Viper, adjusts out to a 52 waist and down to 30/32, it's comfortable and the harness offers lots of adjustability, would sit under your PC well. You could also use a pair of normal suspenders if you wanted something slimmer/smoother under your PC. I have 2 different belts and swap the harness over depending on if I want to run my VSR/L96 or MP5. One is laser cut molle and the other is molle loops and I can't say I notice any difference in them aside from how they look TBH. I used mesh cause I'm a sweaty bastard and fog up goggles within minutes of being on the field, I don't think any normal anti fog unit could keep up unless it was running big fans. A helmet will only make the fogging worse for you but will give you a more comfortable place to mount an exfog unit. I've never liked external knee pads as I could never get them to sit comfortably and be on the right position so didn't bother with them till I got trousers with inserts, they will help with the baggyness you suffer if you can deal with external ones though. You could always run a dropleg holster if a belt platform wouldn't work for you.

    Private sale to the US

@Klesin, what are the rifs you're selling ? I ask as this sounds like a lot of aggro for something that might be easily available either in the USA, or shipped in from a far east retailer, silly tariffs from the 🍊man aside lol.

    Private sale to the US

You need to make the customs declaration when sending, but he would be the US importer and liable for what is on (or missing from) the declaration. He also becomes liable for paying customs fees & tariffs plus legal issues. He can however ask you to comply with legal requirements, if you don’t comply with instructions then he can claim any loss against you, if you do comply with his wishes or there are other matters that get picked up then he remains liable UKARA does not apply - it is the the UK, but US legislation does apply - and is for him to comply Tell him to investigate the customs & legal requirements of his country and his state, then discuss what you both need to do Make a legitimate customs declaration and back up the valuation with a receipt in the package If undervalued on mates rates then you can declare the actual sale, but customs could value at actual (assessed) second hand US value and charge him fees accordingly

  20. I agree it looks like a SV/GE version of the Remington 870. Iirc this one GE call the 8873 model with a few accessories fitted. They're great fun, especially in cqb. The only issue I found with mine is that they don't hold much gas, although it's the model with the goose neck grip so the stock tube may hold more. Either carry a can of gas with you or you can easily convert it to HPA by changing the fill valve. With the extras that's not a bad deal

  21. Looks like a secutor velites variant from a quick Google search which are a rebrand of golden eagle shotguns which are pretty highly rated. Can't find that exact model though.

  22. Emerson Gear trousers have Velcro straps around the knee area to deal with the baggyness, there are also cords inside the trousers that are adjustable to keep the knee pads over your knees at all times, it feels strange at first but after a few minutes it feels natural. Here's a picture of how they fit me (38/40W, down from 52!)

  33. A two-stage trigger has two distinct phases of travel before firing. The first stage involves a longer, lighter pull to take up the slack. The second stage is a shorter, heavier pull that initiates the firing sequence. In theory this unit would allow the MWS to have the one thing this platform lacks in general, which is a crisp and precise trigger. However, in practice this particular unit is frought with problems where it is entirely possible in normal operation for the ZET plate to be bounced out of place and jam the BCG. It's firmly in the do not buy list until the manufacturer addresses the issue. If you desperately want a 2 stage trigger, Guns Modify offer one, but its very spendy.
