All airsoft guns are overpriced toys with random quality control. But you're paying for the grins, not quality or guaranteed performance. The good news is that there are few real lemons in the current market, so you're spoiled for choice, even within particular platforms or models. Even the most basic plastic CYMA M4 works just fine out of the box, once you've cleaned the barrel and dialled the hop in. There's no need to mod anything, although most guns will benefit from for a Maple Leaf hop rubber and nub, and a rotary hop unit if they don't have one. Beyond that, it's down to the value of features like fire control units. So, as above, help us to help you by narrowing it down. Tell us the platform that you like the look of, what you'll be using it for, and your approximate budget. Or just stop at @Amokura's list, it's as good as any.

Having certain threads for certain types of guns was a very popular on other forums like Z1 and Arnies and helped users find what they wanted, means you could browse for hours looking at that particular type of system and what things were available for it Whilst the gun picture thread is cool, it's thousands of posts long filled with random guns Can we start a an MP5 thread, an M4 thread, an AK thread ect and just let the users fill them up with their own photos And if so, can they be pinned

Usually I'm not much of a fan of guns dripping with RIS rails but when a a quad rail fore grip plus a pair of rail covers for an M4 is only £12:50 it's hard to say no

The Specna Prime's look very interesting... A decent base gun with a brushless motor and a higher-end control unit. I've loved my Double Eagle M906C but given i had an overheating issue when spamming semi auto, to the point the Falcon fire control failed, then I'm slightly more reticent about recommending it. Currently it's not quite set up correctly, sounds a bit shrieky and still prone to getting toasty, but when i lend it to people to try they're still really impressed with it, it's the most accurate gun I've got, and honestly that's just such an important attribute. One make that's been left out of the suggestions so far is Novritsch. They seem to be solid even if the branding carries it's own peculiar baggage.

Depends on what type/style you're looking for, M4, AK, Bullpup, SMG, PDW, Bolt action, SPR, retro, etc... and what you want it for, Plinking in the garden, CQB, outdoor sites open, outdoor sites forrested, etc...

they will make them , someone else will just make parts with Glock written on them . Airsoft always finds a way ??

Good that the people who said 'don't know' were honest. While there will be the odd person who works in an airsoft shop who really knows their stuff, I'd say they're going to be few and far between frankly, and they're more likely to be the owner who's been around this stuff for 20 years, rather than the 23 year old guy who actually answers the e-mails/stands behind the counter.

Happy with my little add ons to the gen5 Angrygun MOS plate to accept clone ACRO Clone TLR-1 Pro Arms steel Supressor sights which I surprisingly managed to “white dot” without too much of a mess despite being a tad shakey.

Making the Bow GBB MP5k stock fit an AEG is definitely a 2/10 would not do again but over the moon with the results

I prefer the grid walls, first saw them on AirsoftMike's channel. I like my pews angled as the difficulty getting them horizontal messed with my OCD. Some are still horizontalish but not many.

I bought the black versions of the IKEA peg boards. But, the white ones are definitely the way to go so that you can actually see the RIFs!

Classic Army MP5A5SD. Already sent off to be reshimmed and upgraded. I also managed to break the selector straight away... But it's fine because I ordered a replacement Classic Army A2 lower receiver (I always wanted an A2 but can't find them anywhere for sale) Also bought some Additional High Cap Mags (Cyma), Viper VX SMG Inserts for the Utility rig, a Helikon CPU Shirt, Wings for the Viper Utility rig so I can attach molle Pistol pouch and Radio pouch.

An AK47 with wooden furniture, my AK family is growing.

Two questions - 1) are the triple viper pouches on a molle placard converter thing? 2) the mismatched grout lines on the top of your bathroom tiles are making my brain itch.
