My new baby has arrived, swapped the marmite flash hider out for a 60x32mm suppressor which may get changed to something a little longer at a later date, the rifle is tiny and very well balanced indeed, single hand use is immensely easy Build quality really is amazing, real sword certainly know how to make a rif Just looking for one of the real sword rail attachments for the carry handle now but no one in the uk seems to have any stock currently

  2. As I'm usually playing at all indoors CQB sites these days, my need for a camo, webbing and armour has been somewhat reduced. This was the first loadout I came up with. Cheesy American daytime cop dramas and crime shows provided the inspiration. SIG-Sauer P229R, X4 15 round magazines. If I need more ammunition than that in a game, I've done something very wrong. Swiss-arms flashlight Point Blank overt/covert ballistic armour, rated to 7.62mm AP rounds (£10 on eBay) Civilian clothes of choice (currently various shirts and jeans or black/navy combat trousers)

I've seen nike running belts which have elastic loops for small bottles of water which I thought you could do this

Let us know how you get on with that, looks like a simple enough project that could save you a fair amount of cash! If you do something to alter the design you could probably even sell them, maybe add a couple of 1" molle loops along the strap so people could add a radio or something.

Each to their own, most people wont like it because it's not an M4 and it's a bit different

  7. Weeelll... it was easier to describe them that way than,"stereotypical bone shaped end with 2 oval slots on either side which have a larger diameter at the bottom than they do at the top."

  8. Wrong thread, Ian Maybe that's the case- it'd behave a lot more like a standard US LBV in that way as all the pouches on those are at angles to the rest of the rig. If you didn't like it you could always put more grommets in. But if the pouches did mount onto that LBV horizontally, where would the locking plate* go through to get to the studs? I'm guessing that *bellend-shaped metal part at the bottom bends round to lock onto the bottom 2 studs- you'd have to put cuts through the cordura holding the grommets to actually mount the pouches.

  9. My gear for my MARSOC and SEAL loadouts.. This is the closest I've gotten to completely finishing a rig for a modern unit loadout but I know its not quite there yet. Overtime I'm planning on replacing some of bits to issue or good relica items where possible and I need to get a belt mounted holster. But if there's anything anyone could suggest to improve it it would be great!! All the Pantac and Flyye is coyote brown and the rest is coyote tan For some reason the Pantac coyote brown seems to be coming up a lot lighter in the photo and the Flyye a lot darker than in real life. The PACA is in ranger green as I could not find a tan one in the UK at all!
