New to this forum, so thought Id introduce my kit aswell. Hey dude! The Socom stock just requires an a flat bladed screw driver to remove the stock from the tube and you have access to the stock tube- 3 second job The HERA kit has a custom barrel adaptor on the front end with a 14mm CCW thread so will fit most silencers/flashiders. Thinking of sticking a FirePig sound hog on there in stead Theres several ways to fit a G18C: *Some guys pin the sear down and remove the fire selector. *Some guys dremel out the side of the carbine kit. *In my case Ive just filled around 1mm off the fire selector and with a bit of 'Abra Ka Dabra' (swearing and hitting) its now sitting pretty inside the body and cycles perfectly It reads 'not allowed to use with C models' on the side of the kit but its just lies and propaganda ha ha Many thanks mate. More custom build to come

That Remind's me of the Thing made for the Fast Helmet's i think it was where it basically turned them into Spartan helmet's(300 with Rail's on the side Spartan) Shame the China Copy's don't wrap around the mouth otherwise you could paint that on their and lead the last charge!

Loving the M4's & G18! a Qeustion about the Socom Stock on the CQB Build is it easy to get the Stock Bit off to change Batt's? Also i thought you couldn't attach Suppressor's to the Hera Arm's Kit?? Let alone put an Automatic in their Pray do tell how you managed such Wizardry!?!?!? By the Way incase you Missed it Love The Build's!!!

@36CF - your 416 looks excellent. Was that the plan, or the result of a terrible tan paint job lol?

Not a full gun pic but thought I would just show my hi-caps complete with added dummy rounds. I was looking at the sticker packs but spent ten minutes googling and found a pdf. I printed them on ordinary photocopier paper but glossy paper would give better results. Certainly beats buying all new mags to get the same look!

Hey Ed, It started life as a bright orange and black 2-tone gun and the previous owner had painted the gun black (after getting his UKARA membership). But when I brought it the paint was flaking off and it was covered in deep orange scratches so Ive used paint thinners (NitroMors) to strip it back and prep it for paint, the only trouble is can decide between a FDE and black paint job or spraying the whole gun multicam. But not Im getting very tempted to strip the rail and stock tube down to metal and just lacquer the whole gun for fun Heres a few better pics for you dude... Any my fave.. And just to stay on topic.. I mean, yeah, it hurt at the time, but it was the days later that were the real problem. I've added a strap to my drop-leg holster which holds it against my leg at a better angle, but to keep it from slipping down requires another strap attached to my belt under my crotch, which pulls my kecks more tightly around my package... making a knackers shot that makes solid contact that bit more likely. I've decided it's just not worth the risk. Edit to add: 2 x Plastic Molle 7.62 Magazine Pouch For M14 Black GBP12 inc P&P / fleabay HK - I'm hoping that these will hold my L1A1 mags nice and tight.
