Everyone, I am sure has heard of the Vortex warranty. Well, it's just awesome! I know it's only a little thing, but I lost my elevation turret cap in a game. Haven't thought about it until it's come time to sell the scope. Popped them an email and they're sending a replacement out the same day I spoke to them! Now that is good customer service. I've got Vortex on all my main rifles, for good reason 😄

Mine was about £500. How many games did I play? Errrr. None. But the back garden looks like it's been snowing...

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with the Vortex warranty? I've got a few of their scopes and have never had to use it - I know a few people who have used it and can't speak highly enough. But it got me wondering - have they ever failed to provide the service that we all buy the scopes for?

Two things about Vortex scopes: 1) Increased likelihood of survival, as they are well built 2) Doesn't matter if they survive, as they will replace/repair ANY damage for free, forever. I was talking to a UK rep for Vortex about the warranty and they have one single instruction from the parent company - they're only happy if the customer is happy. Now that is a good warranty.

No idea on the package, but I have one suggestion - Sell the mags separately (ish). Do three with the RIF and then two sets of three separately. The package price then won't cost as much, opening up a wider market. And the mags will sell instantly as they are rocking horse poop doused in unicorn tears sprinkled with dodo jizz. I sold my mags a couple of years ago @£100 for three (twice). I think I underpriced them tbh. I reckon you could easily get more. So £330 for the rifle and £15 for the lipo - £345 So 2/3 puts it more like £228 So about £100 over priced, unless I'm missing something?

Fuck no - unless I'm missing something, this is an ASG MK23, which is £55 new. There's no mention of any upgrades. An extra mag is £25. So for £80 plus post, you can have it new. Which means that the tape is costing you £60 over new, not a tenner. Which is basically another MK23. No, no and thrice no! The fucked mag is worth zero.

I think it was deliberate - he was correcting his own memory from ppk to USP. So it could have been just further evidence of his inaccurate recollection? Or They were all anti 2A types who loathe guns and think they're all the same...
