Fuck no - unless I'm missing something, this is an ASG MK23, which is £55 new. There's no mention of any upgrades. An extra mag is £25. So for £80 plus post, you can have it new. Which means that the tape is costing you £60 over new, not a tenner. Which is basically another MK23. No, no and thrice no! The fucked mag is worth zero.

Well what can I say, other than I'm bored? Haven't played since I headbutted a rock, but still need to shoot things. As do my boys. We'd been shooting in the garden, using tin cans, at ground level. I had an epiphany - I was teaching my boys to shoot people's feet! Useless. So I immediately went out and bought a load of garden canes. I then stuck them in the ground all over the (enclosed) garden. I topped them off with a cat food tin and voila - one course of fire created for pennies! Sod these electric target systems - it was an absolute blast and cheap as chips. You can do all sorts of drills, lay them out in any order you want. The only limit is your imagination. Why dafuq I never thought of it before is beyond me. As the boys improve, I'll start designating different targets as pistol and rifle, so they can transition between the two. By the time they can actually play, they're going to be awesome ? Anyway... if you haven't, I can highly recommend it and if you have, I'm open to any further ideas to make it even better.

I've got one of these sat in front of me right now (I used to have it on my SRS)... It looks very similar to the one in the pic, but I'm not 100%. The scope mount looks interesting as it looks like it can be elevated. @Jay851 I can recommend the SRS one piece scope rings as a good partner to the Diamondback, if that's the way you decide to go.

Sorry for being dim, but how do you communicate, as they don't seem to have a mic? Cos if there's some way of adding a mic, then happy days - cos I can use my audio technica ATH AD700's, which I love...

I've currently got the Turtle Beach Stealth 600. I hate them. My head feels like it's being boiled in a bag and my ears feel like they're being crushed. My son loves his, but he has a small head. Could anyone recommend a decent headset, that can be used with PS4/5 that won't overheat my brain or crush my ears? Oh, and decent audio performance would be good too

That being said, I had a Shadow SP01 that shit its internals the first mag I fired (on green gas!!!). I took it back and Urban Airsoft Mega Store swapped it straight away. Can't fault that for warranty support. But, as you point out, not all warranties are as well honoured, unfortunately.

It seems the MDR is finally available for pre-order, with orders shipping in the first quarter next year (allegedly January, although I won't hold my breath). Has anyone bit the bullet? I'm trying to find recent footage of one in use on youtube, but can't seem to find any. Can anyone point me towards recent footage or a review? It's fairly pricey, so I'm going to hold off until they're in the wild, I think...

Question for anyone with a ps4/ps5. I want to play CoD, online, with my son so we can go into Warzone / DMZ together. Is that possible, using two consoles and two screens without having to buy the game twice? And if so, how, cos I haven't figured it out yet... Thanks in advance.

After my last message, I went and bought an M4 for the boy. Was cheap enough and with the adjustable stock, he should be fine. Also means my older boy and I can use it too. Good call on the M14, now that you both mention it, I remember looking into it before i took a dive, so will start to look at it again. I seem to remember really liking them, so good shout!

I think you're right. Two guns is the way forward. Cheap for him, something else for me. You'd think I'd have a clue about what to get for myself, but I am unsure. Aesthetics I'm not massively bothered about - I just want to be able to reach out and hit someone at a decent range and do it a few times so they get the hint. Sniping is grand, but got fed up of working my arse off for the shot, for them to shrug it off and full auto me back. I still love the Vector, but the range was never great. The search continues... Nope. Nope. And thrice Nope. Not a chance I would have a clue how to do any of that and actually make it work!

Ah, no, I seem to have been unclear. The rifle is for me to field. It is also for me to use with my son in the garden. If it was just for my boy and plinking, I wouldn't have a problem choosing. And would save a tonne too! ( Cos basically anything would do!)
