No the £150 was the money from getting rid of the couple of rifs I have ATM. This looks a really good shout and that review is incredibly in depth! Thanks for this, I've never really considered doue eagle as I'd only really heard bad things. I was using .25s and adjusted the hop as best I could. TBH the gun felt awful when shooting, hard to describe but I would say "bouncy" in the piston if that makes any sense? My friends rental was the same. TBH I just don't want to put my enjoyment of the game down to the quality of the rental when we get there.

Hi all, I'm looking to buy an M4 platform that's cheap as possible but fires straight and hasn't been battered around for years like rental guns. I'm not new to the game I've been playing about 5 years (excluding the last 2 for COVID) so I had a few RIFS alreay but a couple of them had issues and since getting a new job and having a kid I have no time really to fix and internal issues unless I absolutely have to. I thought I'd get back into it using rentals but one game day using a G36 that was landing about 20ft short of anyone while they were hitting me dead between the eyes has put me off that idea. I just want a basic M4 platform that I can do a couple of bits to to get a consistent shot out of it. I'm considering: CYMA cm.513 Maple leaf hop up rubber and nub Clean the barrel properly Long term maybe fit a MOSFET if I ever get time and change the motor. My questions are as follows: 1) how's that for a general plan? 2) I only play (mostly) single shot sites and even on others I don't use full auto, could I run it stock with an 11.1 lipo for trigger response or would this shred the piston/fry the contacts? I would have assumed the issues with piston damage come more from it engaging before it's returned which should only be an issue on auto but I don't know about the contacts. Thanks for your time!

Hi all, Got quite into airsoft about 5 years ago, with lockdown and having a son I vary rarely go anymore. I'm thinking it might be time to get rid of some of the guns to free up space and just use rentals as I can only go about 2/3 times a year now. I'm going to a game day on sunday and just going to stick a sign on my M4 and my AEP to see if anyone wants to take them off my hands. Just want to check what you think is a reasonable price. M4 - £65 G&G CM16 - Bit battered, low FPS (arounbd 280) shoots well apart from the low FPS. Always used it for CQB so never bothered me. Couple of the screws are scratched up and damaged from the previous owner taking it apart (poorly IMO). Thinking of asking for £65 including the red dot sight and about 5 different hi cap mags. Could include a 7.4v block lipo too if that's too high on its own? AEP - £50 CM030 - Shoots great, had a special AEP lipo in it but when I got all the stuff out for this new game day it was puffed up so I've binned it. I have 2 NiMh batteries for it that I'll include but I have no idea if they are good qulity or not. I also have 3 metal mags and a 100 round extended mag for it. Was thinking about £50 for that but I know that might be a little high because you can get the gun for £75 new but with all the extras it would be about £115 so I've gone about haf price. Although I know airsoft doesn't really hold value very well haha. Anyway, any advice apreciated.

This is really minor but I have my first cqb game next week and there's some dark areas. Was looking at a pressure pad torch but didn't fancy paying £20 or whatever incase I didn't like it so modified this £1 petrol station torch using a bit of an old biro! VID-20200215-WA0006.mp4

Hi all, Just in reply to this I'm not completely satisfied with their customer service. Their reply was to replace the case with my next order (fair enough, a lot of shipping for just a case) but the part that got me was that they refused to accept that the scratch on the gun was a problem, in their opinion it "can't be a reason of complaint because it doesn't effect the working of the replica" I agree it doesn't effect the use of the gun but it was a gift for my dad so not a great experience overall.

Sorry to necropost but I just received my big order from Taiwan gun, fast and very well packed with the possible exception of a well g194 1911 clone. I ordered 2 of these and one came perfectly packed, the other, the case was very damaged the gun was scratched and the had an issue when the slide was pulled back it didn't stay pulled back where the one that wasn't damaged did. so quick question 1) Is the slide supposed to stay back? which one is the defective one? ha! 2) What is their returns/replace/complaints system like?

Just bought from Taiwan gun: CYMA CM701B VSR clone CYMA CM028 AK47 WELL g194 1911 style pistol Lots of other holsters and gear! CANT WAIT!!!!

Went to my first game last Sunday and couldn't be more addicted to the sport (game?) Already! Found the site huge and varied , for the most part everyone there was eager to help us with anything we needed and give us advice including the site owner who couldn't have been nicer! Already got my own goggles and face mesh on order, eying up other equipment as soon as possible! Bye bye all spare money and hello airsoft!!!!!!

Hi All, 2 quick questions. I've been reading about gun upgrades and a lot of them seem to add fps even if this is not their intended purpose (some barrels etc...) am I right in thinking that making some upgrades for better accuracy/range like hop up and barrels but in turn having to lower the spring to bring it back under site limits would result in a much better gun than one with stock parts that shoots at the correct fps already? hopefully that makes sense! 2nd question is, if you get a UKARA defense by joining an air soft club is it right that you must renew your membership to keep the defense? for example if you join but then decide to play at a bunch of different sites without joining any one specifically after your membership retires are you still on the UKARA register or are you breaching it by having the guns but not renewing your membership to a club? New to all of this so sorry if any of those are glaringly obvious!
