Don’t do it!!! Keep this forum going However, there are many Facebook groups This forums Facebook is linked below. That doesn’t have chat going on as it acts as a touch point for the forum and is likely to be used for the status of a major outage etc. It can be handy to have it anyway, for both its main purpose and for the Facebook algorithm to top up tour interest in airsoft, thus then suggesting others https://www.facebook.com/share/18gojAvwDN/?mibextid=wwXIfr A thing that Facebook compliments well along side forums is for sub groups - especially local region and/or site groups, that gets the opportunity to see what’s going on, meet like minded local people etc Next is the niche parts of airsoft - MilSim, speedsoft etc - good for like minded people and finding things further afield for your preferences (or discovering the local one that you have never heard of) It goes bad when the dispersed groups take the world away from the forums, which was the cause of the fall of forms, but followed when Facebook added more rules and people trickled back to forums (mainly for a sale) I suggest searching Facebook for local site names, sub genres and then seeing what else the algorithm comes up with I know that you say that you don’t use Facebook, but along with Reddit it is where chat happens Consider making a basic account just for airsoft that does not need to be your real name

KMCS Trousers are next gen brown, currently uncrafted. Jacket is the pullover 'smock' style in brown, no longer available from what I can see, crafted with KMCS summer pack (AGM, cotton, raffia, coconut rope) and also some SCG jute. Size L. Trousers have had the small section that covers the top of the boots removed as I found they constantly rolled under the boot and tripped me up, the is added and sewn seperately to trousers from the factory so removing has not caused any issues. Priced at 70% of a new suit minus the crafting bits which cost £60 for the kit. Price includes postage and fees.£160

Other than this forum does anyone one know of any other places on the net to go talk Airsoft (other than Facebook or Reddit as I don't use these)? I have an Instagram but that isn't a good tool to chat and meet others. I feel forums are a slowly dying thing but great to see this one is still going well and people interacting.

Macks airsoft dreamers of the week thread

Only £25 less than new from BZ tactical Edit: he's really going for it now. This one's only a tenner less than new from airsoft world -
Well done proving his point Someone has been feeding you some grade a bullshit there. I've had dealings with the police in the past and it's never affected my job prospects including work where far more than a DBS check needed

Should more sites weigh the bbs during chrono?
Cannonfodder replied to JVacation's topic in General Discussion
So how would the chrono reading tell you they're lied about the bb weight? The fps reading on the chrono would match up to the expected fps from that weight - Yesterday

Cheers bud. Yeah, not sure why we didn't, specially as we had the 6x acog in use/stores. As for vfc kick. I wouldn't know, as this is the aeg version, not gbb.

Systema TW5 Partially working Currently rear-wired to small tamiya Can change to deans or mini deans, if preferred Fires and cycles bbs However currently fires; Safe/nothing/3 round burst/3 round burst Suspected fault with selector drum There's a couple UK retailers who list the part that may be able to help ship the part to you, i.e, Combat South Part sourcable here, however you would need to buy both and have a "middle man" in the EU, but at least you'd have a spare Stock is also missing butt plate Comes with; Case 6 mags: 4 working, 2 need springs for feed lips and the plate covers Red dot Mlok handguard and Torch handguard (not yet pictured) £400 Collected £415 Posted These guns are awkward to accurately price up, so feel free to drop me an offer, especially if able to collect or in drivable meet-up distance Any questions, feel free to ask£400

That 417 is pretty. I'd usually say I prefer the larger 6X ACOG like our aussie pals use on their 417s, But that looks very nice. I hear the VFC 417 has a pretty good kick to it too.

Latest acquisitions... L2A1 sactarass (VFC HK 417) L90A1 (well gbb mp5k) Replica TA01, the n robbed thefront sight blade and rmr of a TA31 acog l, to match the correct acogs used by uksf.

Cancel that, just realised I never got one today.

Is there a price point for the M60? And will a range of spares parts be available?
-
I'm not getting them either 😕 @proffrink

That's one of the most compelling cases to restore the gun to factory defaults as he has all the original parts. Not to dismiss his skills teching his own airsoft guns but surely a stock GBBR is more likely to sell? All the other accessories can be sold individually or in smaller bundles.

The 'What have you just bought' Thread
ButcherBill replied to Cameron364's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
So, I did a thing... The M16 above & it's issues were annoying me (I don't like a broken toy), so despite it being a wall hanger I've ordered the bits I need to get it working properly. Complete gearbox (don't think the one in it is the original, doesn't fit very well) Pistol grip (wanted the older style anyway but reckon I stripped the threads trying to force the motor in. A previous wiring bodge is prevented the motor fitting properly) Ejector cover (securing clip is broken) Body pins ( rear pin had lost it's securing bits & falls out if you look at it funny) I've tested the motor & it's working so I'll await the postie knocking on my door but sure delivery will be the end on July. -
Well, that will only have taken seven years! Perhaps after that has been done, they could sort out the PP19 100 round midcaps so that they feed properly; they have been a known issue for much longer.

Make a gbbr version of your AS VAL or VSS and I'm all over it like a tramp on chimps. Also..... those chonky plastic 9x39 mags would be ideal for a decent gas system. The only reason I sold my old AS Val was the lacknof tactile response on firing.
