WE EU17 Glock magazine compatibility
The_Lord_Poncho replied to ibo7's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
yep - this was my thinking - I suppose it depends if you use your pistol as a primary or not. But for me, I only tend to use half a mag or so in a typical mornings play, so that’s quite a lot of wasted gas (and its supposedly not great for the seals to leave the bulbs pierced in the mags for days on end) -
Yes, these Google adverts are fucking annoying.

You used to be able to buy individual sears by Laylax or PDI waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day (we're talking like 2008 time, when I was first looking at building a VSR), but over the years these have been phased out in favour of complete trigger boxes; even back in 2008, the Laylax Zero triggers and PDI V triggers were starting to muscle in on the individual sears market as the best option for upgrades. I found a set of Action Army 90 degree sears here (https://www.combatsouth.co.uk/action-army-reinforced-sear-set-for-vsr/), but at £70 you're better off getting an S-trigger or Namech Flux trigger, as I don't know how tough the Action Army sears are (I'm guessing they're the stock sears in the AAC T10), and the full trigger units are rated for way more power than we have access to in the UK. That said, with a fairly efficient build, I got up to 2.2J with an m120 in my VSR, so if as Skara says the Action Army sears are rated for m120 springs, you may get enough power, but if not... that'll be £70 of sears just waiting to snap. The S-trigger is rated up to m190 springs and the Namech is apparently rated up to m220 springs, which are far too strong for UK limits, so you won't have to worry about them giving up under normal usage; even with a horrible short barreled build slinging .2s for maximum inefficiency you're probably going to be well over 2.3J with those springs.

This is my cyma electric blowback ak in real wood and metal. It comes with 2 hi caps and 1 mid cap magazine. Fps is very close on 0.2g bbs at 349fps. On 0.28 it's at 275fps so 0.98 joules. I wouldn't run it on 0.2g bbs. Its just too close to the limit. This used to be 2 tone where the wooden furniture was blue. The furniture has been cleared of the blue, sanded, and restrained in oak. Shoots really nicely and the ebb gives a gentle nudge when shooting. Sad to see to go but I've bought something else so this has to go. I'm after £130 including postage. You need ukara or defence to buy this please.£130

Well, I've eventually got my own one. Seems to be a slightly updated version - with a much longer battery wire (rear wired), and terminated already with a deans connector. A quick plug into a tank, and a worrying hissing noise from the box indicating a leak as I turned up the pressure with the reg. As soon as I disconnected, got the pressure up on the regulator first, and reconnected the leak has gone - I put it down to the seals or something not being seated fully, and needing a bit of a 'jolt' of air pressure to rectify. I've not popped it in a gun yet, but it seems nicely functional so far. I can confirm that the control unit needs an 11.1v battery to operate - doesn't function at all on a 7.4. I thought MP5Ks used a V3 gearbox? In any regard, I was originally considering one of these for a (full fat) MP5 that uses a standard V2 gearbox case. But in the end, decided that it might not work - my logic being that it doesn't seem that the nozzle can be swapped out/nozzle length adjusted - so I think you are stuck with an M4 length nozzle (albeit I'd love for someone to prove me wrong on that). Potentially also a little bit of inventiveness would be needed for the selector plate.

Got a notification from tridos so bought a few things: 1x NaMech Flux trigger; 1x Mk23 TDC adjustment key (that threads into the LAM unit hole on the trigger guard); 2x AAP upper lock buttons in red; 1x AAP red mag release + stronger spring kit; 1x HPA threaded cap; 4x UV-5R protective kits for me and my mates. Now I'm eyeing up the Source Commander 10L backpack, saw it last week at a tournament and I liked it a lot.

There was a bloke in the safe zone the other week who absolutely reeked after the first game. Not sure he ever washed his clothes, let alone his gear....! I'd venture it was so extreme, that it would put him at a tactical disadvantage. Like the rats in 28 days later, alerting the survivors by 'running from the infected'....

Turns out the adverts on the top of the screen are still there, at least on my mobile, after you hide them with the little arrow. When I try and tap on new notifications it sends me to this clickbait ad site for air conditioners.

Issue with CO2 is once you put the bulb in you have to use it or you are wasting a what ever is left in the bulb. Also I really don't understand why some one buys something and then say what other manufacturers mags fit. Stick with like for like. You got a WE gun get WE mags you are not going to run into fitment/seal issues.
