  1. Past hour
  2. I was thinking about camo earlier & as much as I'd love a bit of blue/purple thistle ish camo I reckon a jock Flecktarn would have been good for highland regiments.
  3. You shouldn't be getting emails directly from members, unless you'd inadvertently put your email address in an ad, or in your profile somewhere ?
  4. Second this, I've used Cyma, E&L, Specna and LCT mags in my DB Krink with no issues at all (Minus the E&L mags not feeding the last few bb's but they suck anyway so) As Collin said, try shimming the lip of the mag, I had to do similar with Acturus AK12 mags fitting my LCT
  5. That would have been my plan. I asked about the takedown model when one came up for sale before and everyone was saying they're more trouble than they're worth as the takedown fittings wear out
  6. I imagine they would have struggled to have much of an independent arms industry so I reckon they would have borrowed a lot from Scandinavia. A "Highlands" patttern with greens, browns, greys and heather tones. Possibly Swedish M90, Finish M/91 or Danish M/84. If you wanted to more Cosplay, some sort of custom Tartan pixel camo. Load-bearing gear would likely be similar to UK PLCE, but big bags and more waterproofs. Weapons wise it would probably be G3/AK5/FNC and something Sig-like for a pistol. If you want to go IRA-alike probably lots of Thistle and Saltire patches.

  8. If only life was that easy... As for fweedom, I'm all for the domocratic process & 45% is still less than 50%. Personally I never understood the... 'We want to leave the UK but will join the EEC as an independant country' ediology. Just seemed like leaving one club to join another IMO.
  9. I cannot think of a reason why it would not cycle on an 11.1v other than a battery/connector issue. As Skara stated, a video of you trying to shoot it using an 11.1v would be useful. What charger are you using?
  10. It could be that the initial insertion is pushing the CYMA mags up far enough for a few BBs to feed, after which the back of the mag drops a bit because the mag catch is not holding it up far enough. You could try lightly shimming the underside of the lip at the back of a mag to see if it makes a difference.
  11. They are identical from what I have compared, and when I remove them from the rifle they spit out about 4 or 5 bbs which makes me think they must be feeding Totally new and fires fine with the magazine it comes with
  12. I run CYMA midcaps in a Double Bell AK without any issues. Did you buy it new or second hand? If the former, does it feed on the supplied mag? If not, it could be a nozzle problem or there could be an issue with the hop unit. If it was second hand, then can you borrow a different mag to try?
  13. Those funny Scottish people in skirts keep going on about their ‘fweedom’, but evey Orcadian knows that we would just have to fork up 100,000 crowns to pay back the King of Norways debt for which Orkney was handed over…… Less than £10, unless we’re generous as he was king of Norway and Denmark at the time, so if we use the Danish exchange rate its less than £15
  14. Are you sure the Double Bell is compatible with those mags? Is there any difference between the DB AK mags and the Cyma ones? How deep they go into the magwell, the height of the feed tube, etc, etc
  15. Hi everyone, Hoping someone can help with an issue I am having.... Recently bought a cheap steel receiver and wooden furniture double bell Ak47 to add a dong handguard to (not that it will ever be used probably as I have far too many AKs already) The issue I have with it is I run Cyma midcaps that work with all my other different brands of AKs but in the double bell they fit and lock into place and when removed they spit out about 5 bbs (so I know they are feeding) but when I try and fire the rifle it just dry fires? Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this as I am away at the moment and want to get it up and running on my return home! Cheers John

  17. When I first got it, it was cycling on a 11.1v it's a recent issue. I don't have another one to test so I'm running it on 7.4 as I've got loads of them. I might get another 3s when I upgrade the gearbox.
  18. Pity it’s not a gas blow back.
  19. ... That is one nice lookin' m14. I love what you've done with that! I am cursed with a love of the m14, but I don't like using AEGs as I've fully taken the GBBR pill.
  20. I don't sell many rifs as I like to keep my toys but it's certainly been recommended in these forums that sellers simply check the buyers site history (comments, pics posted, feedback) for peace of mind.
  21. Wow, you've given this a lot of thought. My suggestion for a fun little impression would be to wear a kilt (with a placard as a sporran) with DPM top. There's a player/marshall at POW that often wears a kilt & TBH the bugger suits it, and if it's good enough for the trenches in WW1 it's good enough for a gameday.
  22. Haha, I've heard a lot about these both good and bad, but I do love a teching challenge. I may see if I can build it as a non-Takedown version but well see. I'm still stripping it down to clean and grease it. So much gunk, metal shavings, and dirt, but hey that's what I expected tbf. Bargain price if I get it running well. A few steel aftermarket parts in there as well, including most of the bolt.
  23. Um -ish. I removed one advert after a user with a good feedback rating, told me he has a UKARA number, then blanked me when I asked for it. Might be ill or have a familly emergency of course, but after 4 days my paranoia stepped in 😑. Another was from what I very strongly suspect was a child, via email rather than through the Forum, so I pulled that ad. too. But yeah I can nearly get to the door again now😄
  24. As a fellow M14 enthusiast, there are many ways to skin that particular cat: cheek risers, low profile sight mounts etc.
  25. The electrics are inside, and some electronics are coated these days (I don’t know whether any of the branded airsoft electronics benefit from coating) Unless your equipment is soaked it will be fine Wipe dry at any opportunity during the day, and make sure it’s dried off before storing afterwards
  26. Forum rules state all adverts must include a price. Even if it's flexible. If you're looking for a guide price there is an 'Appraisals' section
