I've been swinging back and forth on buying a V3 VFC for a while, but Jaeger Precisions latest range test of them vs MWS shows suggests they are still not there in terms of accuracy. If this latest revision of their hop can close that gap I'd be interested to know. I've had both mws and vfc rifles among other gbb platforms. I've since sold all my mws rifles and kept buying vfc . I've not had an issue with accuracy and certainly nothing that couldn't be solved by a new hop rubber if I couldn't be bothered to wear in the stock hop Gunboat Diplomat and Austeyr 1 1
Popular Post ButcherBill Posted September 11 Popular Post Posted September 11 (edited) Been waiting on this all day... This thing has a kick & I'm extremely pleased with it, the stocks a bit wobbly but planning on replacing it anyway (along with the grip). This was on pre-order (from the day I posted my weakness) & arrived by DPD today. Edited September 11 by ButcherBill JimFromHorsham, Nick G, HZR13 and 2 others 3 2
ButcherBill Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I was wondering about that, the allen key doesn't seem to fit the npas tho (assuming it's just for the hop).

Lyndication Posted September 16 Posted September 16 1.5mm hex key for the NPAS. It'll probably benefit from heavier BBs than .25s as well ButcherBill 1
Jacket Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Anyone else got one for going around corners? HZR13, Austeyr, Gunner91 and 5 others 8

ButcherBill Posted September 17 Posted September 17 (edited) Ouch. Looks like you need one of those barrel wrenches that aren't available yet. Edited September 17 by ButcherBill
Jacket Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Yep, definitely hasn’t happened in transit as packaging is unmarked. Must be a CQ issue, I think Stevie Wonder was on that day Outer barrel is central to the rail, it’s all on the piss Diemaco, ButcherBill and HZR13 3
Jacket Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Not sure, it was bought from here! Austeyr and Cannonfodder 2
ButcherBill Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Then I hope you've spoken to the seller & paid using paypal? Austeyr, HZR13 and Cannonfodder 3

Paid with G&S, seller said they will refund + postage cost when it arrives back. Pretty bad luck, looks like the barrel nut was cross threaded onto the receiver. Never seen a barrel that wonky, even my first TM M16VN in 1997 wasn’t that bad! ButcherBill 1

Bet it was cross threaded because the proper tool isn't available yet and 'someone' likes to fiddle. EvilMonkee 1
ButcherBill Posted September 18 Posted September 18 I'm struggling to get more than 15 bb's in the mag, is it just bedding in?

Honestly don’t think it has been touched at all. If it had been tinkered with, without the VFC tool, I think there would have been scratches all over it. Pretty sure a QC issue from the factory, but how it could have got out being that wonky is beyond me! ButcherBill 1
Popular Post hitmanNo2 Posted September 18 Popular Post Posted September 18 VFC have clearly hired ex GHK QC staff 😄 Schadenfreude34, Enid_Puceflange, Jacket and 2 others 2 3

Lyndication Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Stanags are fine, it's just a weird issue with the Vmags. Wavey_Gravey 1
Wavey_Gravey Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Good to know, thanks. Will be picking up a bunch of those for another rifle so will come in handy.
