very strange video "lets take it to the range and see how it shoots" .... he chrono's it .... no range/accuracy/spread details.

you may consider me a purest, but i have never heard of UTG, i would go with tokyo maurai (and i have with my TM L96)

if you really want a sniper rifle, go and have a look here for gun info >> http://www.airsoftsniperparts.com/identifyyourrifle.htm

Yeah I thought UTG was weird, guessed it was a US market rebrand and yeah turns out is the same as the WELL / Warrior MB01.

Had a UTG L96 about 8 years ago, shot well enough and not far off 500fps, its just the usual chinese clone available under various identities. UTG do a fair range of accessories like scopes, rail covers etc which can be bought from Soldier of Fortune among others.

As has already been said in this thread: UTG is a rebrand of Well which is, in turn, a clone of the Maruzen L96 (generally the APS-2), not the TM L96 AWS (which has the realistic magazine placement). Why on earth anyone would go as far afield as the US to buy probably the most reproduced airsoft gun ever made (other than perhaps the TM M3 and its clones) is beyond me.

Grab a Well L96, or a Mauser/Cybergun. Frankly, they all shoot the same really. Buy a new cylinder, trigger, spring and guide rod from http://www.airsoftpro.cz/ before you think about taking it out.

Oh and the obligatory 'don't buy a sniper rifle' is very much true - it's a really silly weapon to take to skirmishes. Even the one I've put a lot of money into isn't anywhere near my favorite thing to use.
