ya know with the right paint job would be really cool for a scifi loadout...

Not a bad idea. Especially with Lozarts brand new stormtrooper loadout!

Haha reminds of when I used to convert cheap spring shotguns to fire BBs instead of nerf bullets when I was younger.

Can imagine it being a very cheap build project. I'd have personally done it in one of these:

It actually looks a lot like some of the guns in Mass Effect. And THAT armour is a LOT more practical.....

There were some guys on youtube that made some awesome armour from foamboard and made a cheesy short about sci fi people using painted nerf guns. I would love to rock up to a skirmish dressed like that, looks fairly easy to make.

Go take a look at the Replica Prop Forum www.therpf.com they have loads of foam builds on there (including Iron Man, Mass Effect, WH40K). It's not hard to do but it's tricky to do well.

Looks like I'm doing a mass effects loadout. Or lozart. Whoever would prefer to do it.

Edit: Actually, I'll do an Aliens one. Get a Snow Wolf.

that nerf stampede polarstar fusion gun is insane. I actually really like it. Couldn't imagine the looks on peoples faces bringing one in to school, and shooting a mate, who made fun of our "nerf gun". Ofc, does take a certain amount of insanity and creativity, but I can't stop watching that vid :P

My split gearbox would be useless in a nerf gun. I'll look for something else. So, should I work on a si fi airsoft gun?
