SgtTalbert Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Hi All, How much roughly would it be to replace the parts on this rifle: http://www.actionhobbies.co.uk/SRC-SR36C-2...-Gun_AQODT.aspx so that its no longer 'two tone' Cheers,
Supporters Airsoft-Ed Posted August 15, 2012 Supporters Posted August 15, 2012 You only need to swap out the front end and the RIS. I'd make a guess at around £60ish. Under £100 definitely.
MZKaleem Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 and the stock ed, http://www.airsoftworld.net/src-g36-carry-handle.html http://www.airsoftworld.net/src-g36c-nylon-fibre-stock.html http://www.airsoftworld.net/src-g36c-nylon...e-foregrip.html
SgtTalbert Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 Cool, roughly £80 with postage :-) Thanks
Tariq Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 Pretty much 50% of the gun... you'd probably save money by selling the TT version and buying a new black one
Supporters TheFull9 Posted August 15, 2012 Supporters Posted August 15, 2012 Beware though. You'll never go back.
Supporters jcheeseright Posted August 15, 2012 Supporters Posted August 15, 2012 about £8 to take that back to black if the green parts are just sprayed... fairy power spray and a stiff nail brush. Elbow grease of course doesn't have a monetary value. That's how I would do it of course, failing that, a couple of sheets of fine grain (300 ish) glasspaper, a can of black spraypaint and some decent spray varnish. Either way, much much cheaper than replacing the parts entirely

SgtTalbert Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 This isn't for me. a guy at my local site offered this G36c + 2 batteries + 5 mags for £200 My friend who's just got into Airsoft wondered if its worth it in the long run in terms of turning it to 'black' once he is UKARA'd up Cheers,

Power Spray worked a treat, but all the time spent scrubbing with it on my hands left them peeling like a bad sun burn the next day! Didn't hurt at all, but looked horrendous. On the bright side, my hands now look nice and young having removed the top layer of skin Who needs expensive exfoliants from Boots
