Cheers, I know its great out of the box, and it was. But a few years of heavy use has had it underperform a little. The issue on sunday was a little worrying and I figured once its open I might as well swap out some old parts for shiny new ones as I know it does take upgrades really well. I have seen some really good builds and all of my guns are still stock so am keen to have one thats been built to be a beast.

Maybe the indemnity is due to the fact people are going to make possibly hundreds of millions if not more from this drug and big pharma in the past few years has paid tens of billions in payouts for fraudulently advertising their products and pushing out products which has severe side effects which have not been declared or were not as safe as they made out and do not want their profits to be eaten into with people suing them if its found out the drug is not what it says it is or if anyone has a deadly reaction to the vaccine which happens. It may also stop people looking into how things have come about so quickly and into any under the table deals which may have happened to get this to market.

I thought some kind of jam too. The barrel has not been cleaned in a while in all honesty. I would still like to explore some upgrade options too though.

So I have had my Scorpion Evo since early 2018 and have used it a lot. Its totally stock on the inside and I have never had it open or serviced etc. Yesterday at a game it suddenly didnt sound right, it was very muffled. I took it back to safe zone and was test firing it and it started sounding fine again, I switched to my other gun and left it. It still sounds normal (as it did before the muffled shots) I dont know what caused the sound, I have no clue with these things. But I feel it needs a service now at the very least. It has had a lot of use and no maintenance to speak of. I figured while it was open it might be wise to swap out some of the older used parts for some new ones. My main questions are? 1) Is it worth just sending it to JD for an Evotek swap out? Everything is done in one place with a warranty, nice and easy but fairly costly. or 2) should I speak to another tech and recommend they swap certain parts, if so what parts? 3) if so can anyone recommend a tech for this?

I have messaged my guys and will see what comes of it and will let you know in a few days. Either way im in 100%

I don’t doubt it shoots fine, I was tempted to pick one up myself, it’s just that profile looks very curved, to my dodgy old eyes anyway.

I noticed that too, also with the angled stock the whole thing looks like it should be able to shoot around corners.

Happy to drive @Asomodaiwill likely have 2 others in the car with me. I will be able to do any Saturday with notice as I will change any plans for this.

I’m down 100%. Saturday again is best (I have voted) but will book a night off work if needs be. been meaning to get there for ages and actually a smaller forum game would be 100 times better than a walk on. I will likely be bringing 2 others too if you need an idea on numbers.

You literally chose the two loudest guns 😂 I know a bit about soundproofing but it’s been years since I had to use any of it. It can be expensive to do it properly. Luckily for Airsoft you wouldn’t need to do it like a music studio. Foam panels, egg boxes, even heavy fabric should muffle the noise enough to not bother anyone in the next room. You need to work out if you think it’s really worth the cost and/or effort though. How often are you hoping to shoot inside, how big is your room, also what are you doing to mitigate ricochets if you have breakables in the same room?

@Reed20vwhy was the mall terrible for Airsoft in your opinion?

My two pence on some mentioned: I played Upwood once and it was great fun, it closed before I could return. That was a great site. We were planning on going to the sandpit then heard it closed, I regret never getting to play there Blitz in whitechapel, well I had forgotten about that. Had a bittersweet experience, the site was lovely just had a few too many players and the limited space meant every game despite the objectives were pretty similar but was fun. Would have been cool to try some private games there but again it closed shortly after we found out about it. The Mall would HAVE to be the most missed site for me. I started playing airsoft there and loved it from day one. Yes there were days with issues with some idiots, but you get that at most sites. I never understood the bad reputation the mall had though. I played sundays, weekdays, special weekend games, private games, closed games you name it and still didnt see why it had this aura of being this magnet for cheats, 45 min brief etc. So many unfounded reviews and rumours about the place it was unreal it became a running joke with regulars and marshals. I have had so many cool moments and seen some crazy things there I was gutted to hear it closed and even more gutted I was unable to play a game in its final days as they all sold out really quickly.

Managed to find one. Haven’t shot it yet but man it looks good. I have the thumbs too, charging handle and mag well on order as well as the folding stock. I have a tracer for it and just need to pick up some extended mags. cannot wait to use it in a game. Shame I may have to wait so flipping long now

FINALLY got my hands on one at a reasonable price, paid more than I should have but it was fair for the silly prices which are around. Now to spend a fortune in silly gun bling and I just have to wait a couple of months before I can use it 🤦‍♂️
