50 to 60 metres same as any good aeg. Its got a good inner barrel, hop up and the bucking is probably the best stock bucking out there. More importantly it all goes together very well.

Every AEG I've owned has done the same! Including my TM Scar, however I worked out what the issue was. I've been using the wrong battery! I was running my Scar on a 7.4 1100mah lipo, switched it out for a 7.4 1450mah and its spot on! Basically the 1100mah can't discharge the power quick enough if I Snatch the trigger whereas the higher rated battery can!

I have the krytac spr and I must say OOTB it is phenomenal. Range, groupings, accuracy, reliability, build quality and everything else about it is top notch.

    I would recommend to everyone.

Yep! All good, only thing I found was the Type B arm was too much for a .43 BB, ended up using an AA hop to achieve the correct hop. Now hitting 75 meters with a .45

I have both, right here's my opinion lol

GSPEC: Superb gun, the 330mm barrel it comes with is top notch! Silencer works and the bolt handle is much better than the VSR pro. Even barrel so spacing is easy.
Pro: Slightly lighter and shorter than the GSPEC... That's it!

I first off bought the GSPEC and had it upgraded by ASPUK, for 6 months it was awesome! I could hit targets at 90 meters and it was fun! However, I learned about the dreaded joule creep and that's when I realized that the GSPEC takes full advantage of JC to give it "Hidden power", I swapped the internals out a few times and currently I'm running a 430mm Laylax barrel (Drilled out the end cap so it can intrude into the silencer) plus It's running the Mancraft SDIK kit with an external HPA source. With a .45 I can hit the 75 meter target nicely and that's with zero creep.

Recently I spent out and bought the edgi kit (The one Novritch uses) and I decided to go VSR pro route. Out of the box it doesn't come with a rail so that cost me another £15. I didn't have to alter anything to fit the kit, the barrel went in nicely and the only front end thing I changed was the hop arm to a type B. (I did R hop it too but that's another story).

TBH, I'd get a Gspec every time! It's a nice gun, you can easily fit a longer barrel if need be.

I definitely wouldn't get a clone of it anyway, I just love TM. Everything works in sync perfectly in their guns! Have to say you guys have really put me off spending my money on a L96 that looks pretty and nothing more! Just stuck between the GSpec and the Pro Sniper version, that longer inner barrel could be handy for upgrading at a later stage to a higher fps, from a what I read anyway. Do you all have the GSpec?

VSR all the way! I've upgraded 2 L96 now and they're still horrible!

Despite what anyone says, try to get the TM VSR if possible, I've been hearing horror stories about nozzle alignment on the clones, EVEN the Bar 10.

The TM will cost you more but stuff just works! all the upgrade parts are designed for the TM VSR, I've now fitted Airsoft pro, laylax, edgi and mancraft upgrades and although some require a tiny bit of modding, nothing has been too brutal! The finished result is a fairly lightweight gun that can do what you want it too!

Case in point, My friend has a Maruzen L96 running 500fps with an upgraded spring/guide/nozzle/hop arm and every game there seems to be an issue!

The first thing I went and bought when I got into Airsoft was a £70 fast helmet. I think i've worn it 4 times over the last 18 months however! I'm yet to try CQB and I'm going to run with it, also I have the gopro NVG mount which is really good on a helmet.

TBH, The 3 month thing is a bit of an afterthought. I've been using proballs for the last 4 months now with zero issues! When people started groaning about the Nuprol and GF Rockets "Swelling" then proballs decided to instigate putting silica gel packs into their BB's aswell as vac packing them (Which also helps in transit too).

Hi, I was looking at the Krytac CBR as a bit of a fun gun, worrying to hear about the cycing thing although my TM Scar does the same! I have just built a P* Jacked M4 DMR. So far it's not worked however that's another issue. THe trigger pull is quite far on a P* stock as the trigger board is tiny and only contact on the last 2mm so most people use mods to pack out the trigger (Which is easy enough to do) you don't get any issues with the P* in that matter (Plus when you first get it I guarantee you try out 99 rps just to see how it sounds ) *

    * no mag will feed at that speed though lol

Exactly. It was certainly impressive seeing all the sanding pay off but you can't start glueing stuff in the car in the pouring rain.

Yeh, that's the real issue with R-hopping apart from the install: If it's not working then you've probably got to remove and replace it (which is a huge ballache).

Without a doubt R hopping is the best hop solution however I may be in the minority with my view. I R hopped my VSR (EDGI build) and on my first test hit a dinner plate size target at 75 meters! Bloody lovely! however I soon realized that "In the field" it's not a good idea if you start expereincing any issues (Jammed BB's etc) so I removed it. I still get 65 meters nicely, maybe I'll re do it one day but I like my rifles to be serviceable in the field.

One thing I need to add, do people use the JAck in a DMR platform? I know it says it can run up to 500fps but the F1 mentions it as a point!

That's not flat hopping then? When you flat hop you use either a moundless bucking OR remove the mound and turn 90 degrees in a standard barrel. If you're trying to combine the flat hop nub with the mound then essentally you're doing what I do on my VSR. (I have a Type B flat bar arm with the stock TM bucking, is that flat hopping then?). Another thing I've tried is H hopping which is similar but on my gun yields the same result

Yeah Danny can have a look, I'm not sure how much he knows about HPA installations etc but worth sending it.
Mines a 303mm barrel and my dwell is 60 if I have it any less the consistency simply isn't there.

There's not really anything to put to rest dude. You moaning at people for using moulded buckings. I'm simply saying I've already tried the blue one regardless of what it's made of and it was shit. I fail to see where your trying to go with this. People will use what they use.
My mates have flat hopped setups and theyve tried the prommy purple didn't rate it. Theyve tried the blue didn't rate it. The G&G green didn't rate it. They use thr Maple leaf bucking which they say works great.

Because the blue bucking is made out of a different material and has been giving out crap results. I tried one and it started to tear after one game.

No mate, I use the same firebase regulator and HPA, I've stripped it down and relubed the reg. It's definatley not that. I've also done a 30 second 40rps auto test on the P* and it's refresh is spot on! ZERO dips!

I’m using a Prommy purple bucking and Namazu firefly flat nub in an orga barrel as well. I found I was having the exact same issue with mine for weeks on end. I’ve ended up having to have my Dwell set a lot higher than it would need to be to get better consistency shot to shot. I’ve also had to apply some Teflon tape to the bucking near the C clip. It’s funny because before I did that I used the exact same barrel setup in my G&P Sentry AEG and it worked an absolute charm but once it went back into my P* it was bad although the alignment was perfect.

It now shoot pretty much spot on shot to shot but I had to run 3500-4000 BBs through it on full auto which was my absolute last resort because I’d finally had enough. I can’t remember who’s said this but I know on the Facebook P* page someone said that with the Jack when it’s first installed shot to shot accuracy is shocking but then the nozzle beds in and it comes good……. how true that actually is I don’t know.

The Prommy purple setup is the go to setup for Amped Airsoft isn’t but I’m not entirely convinced on it yet.
