  1. Fair points. There's a fair chance the seller knew exactly what they were doing sticking up that particular advert.
  2. IMHO - these type of adverts should be reported (through the normal reporting mechanism) for the moderators to deal with. They can use other methods of enforcing the forums rule (i.e. issue warnings) rather than outright banning them that would occur with the spam-flag function. It might just be a genuine mistake on the part of the seller (unlikely in this instance, I know, but not impossible), with a little bit of 'education' needed to correct their actions. But again, that's just my opinion - the mods may feel differently.
  3. Click on the search (don't add any search terms in the box) Member search tab: Joined in the last 24Hrs: Then click 'Search members' button at the bottom. The results will show - and you can filter on newest first.
  4. Same. Can't really go wrong with a TM-Clone G36.
  5. Yeh - I've flagged a few now. This new system seems to work quite well. I also try to keep an eye on members registered in the last 24 hours - I've found a few that way before they have posted, where they are clearly identifiable as a spam account - e.g. one had a bag of powder as an avatar and various overseas phone numbers in their bio.
  6. I ask myself that when I look at the stack of ICS M4s I've got. I enjoy working on them - and built one from literally spare parts - but do I need 5? Of course not. But it's good to have spares, right? ?
  7. They look good - do you need to apply any kind of clear coat (lacquer) over the top for protection?
  8. I still kick myself for not picking one up when they first released on TG for £114. Luckily, the (as new) one I bought a few weeks was part of airsoft retirement kit bundle, so once I offloaded the stuff I didn't want it cost me less than £100. Quite please with that.
  9. Can't expect much from a gun already punching above it's price class. I think it's pretty admirable that they got an optical ETU functional and in production for the cost they released at, when the likes of G&G, Evolution, Cyma et al are still using microswitch-actuated ETUs. Don't get me wrong - cost compromises have been made in some places - the bushings on my M904G are very roughly finished and the GB is a touch 'wide' (I had to use nearly 40x 0.1mm shims to stop the gears rattling like maracas) but I think they've done a decent enough job all round.
  10. That makes sense. I might pick up a 28TPA motor for mine. Should run quite a bit cooler and more efficiently than the stock motor.
  11. What motor are you running? - I tried a 16TPA SHS in mine and I was getting overspin.
  12. Welcome to the forums. All your questions will be answered with just a quick browse through the forum sections. My advice - rent for you first three games before buying anything.
  13. Dear god - that is a thing of beauty. The SF handguard looks great on there.
  14. Never believe the stated mAh on Airsoft LiPo packs. 2 x 1300mAh (quite old but good quality) RC packs would get me through a fairly average day of play easily. I bought some brand new 'Airsoft' 1300mAh packs and they just about last 2 games, and definately wouldn't make it to the lunch break. I've now fitted stubby fixed stocks to a couple of my guns so I can throw in a decent sized (and quality) 3000mAh 11.1c RC LiPo and roll all day with it.
  15. Just received a boneyard Classic Army UMP from @THE FNG. She'll need a bit of work, but I'm hoping to have her up and running for my next day of BBwarz. I forgot how much I love H&K plastic spaceguns (*looking at my big pile of boring M4s*).
  16. Yeh - took me a little while to pick up on that too. Good move to roll out the functionality to the Supporters - hopefully they will be able to help tackle this issue.
  17. Ooof. Another morning of Spam. I've reported eveything I could find again.
  18. Just been hit with another wave of spam threads. ? I'll keep reporting them as I see them.
  19. mAh multiplied by the C rating gives the maximum continuous current the pack can provide - It directly relates to the power output. eg: 15c X 1300 mAh = 19.5A (continuous) 25c X 1300 mAh = 32.5A (continuous) 10c X 3000 mAh = 30.0A (continuous) A lower C rating is often used to 'throttle' the power to the motor - hence 15c recommendations from some manufacturers/techs/retailers. However, 15C on, say, a 3000mAh pack will allow the motor to draw up to 45A which could be enough to nuke the gun at some point.
  20. I'm slightly embarrassed to say I did not notice that bit of functionality. So many clicks wasted over the years. ?
  21. I know you are 'retired' so I wouldn't place any expectations on you - but we need more moderators that frequent the forums daily. The last couple of days have been rough.
  22. Yeh. I know. If something isn't done soon it could kill the forum. Let's hope things are moving behind the scenes to sort this out.
  23. I've reported everything I can find. Gets a bit messy around the classifieds as they have posted a couple of adverts in each section so I might have missed one or two.
  24. Looked more like tape residue on them to me. They were probably wrapped in tape to indicate they were the knackered guns on the rack and not to be handed out to the punters. Just a guess though. Actually, it looks like guns it’s on the guns that not have the stock folding button. Probably taped the stock folded to stop it flapping around.
  25. Classic Army G36s - so hard to get these days. Definitely one of the better G36 models. If I hadn't spent all my pocket money - I would have a couple to make a 'good' one. Shame the UMPs are Umarex Sportline (S&T OEM) with their bent stocks.
