  1. stock bolt action rifles out of the box are not much better than AEGs to be honest, they need to be upgraded to make the most out of the FPS advantage
  2. Yes i have to admit i have often wondered if just a small arm band is enough. I am shot by team mates in the back all the time, and if someone is at an angle at which their banded arm is not visible... its hard to tell from friend or foe. people always shout "blue or red" its a bit ridiculous if you ask me.
  3. of course there are other factors im just saying how to find the fps of a spring
  4. I know this is an old thread but, If u want the formula to find fps it is simply the spring number eg (100) * 3.28. thus a m100 is 328fps which is about right
  5. Just got a JG BAR 10, going to upgrade it and dip my foot in the sniping scene. Also got a gun bag
  6. Hey mate glad u enjoyed it, im based in Essex too. Unfortunately some people take it too seriously arguments can happen its best to avoid those people. I guess you already know about UKARA and stuff so 2 more rental games and youre good to go
  7. if u want to get into sniping, i would suggest a jg bar 10 and upgrade internals
  8. I personally wouldn't bother, I have owned cheap guns like this before and have broken within a week. they're also not compatible with most upgrades because they use different gearboxes. Its a shame because £150 could have bought a nice steel and wood CYMA AK, or a G&G combat machine :/
  9. wow £290 is a lot I feel for you, Its a shame you gifted it otherwise you could have just withdrew the money. When you gifted the money did you leave a note? maybe you can contact paypal and try to get a refund i dont know
  10. but its ok to sell dud guns to other people dedsec
  11. doesn't mean he cant rent? everyone has to start from somewhere
  12. Hey, Im based in Essex. Look at the UCAP SandPit I hear its good there going to go there myself soon its near bluewater
  13. there is a jg exactly the same as the cyber-gun one, half the price... £250 for a cyber gun is a bit ridiculous. all u pay for is stick on trade marks lol
  14. you might get away with it when youre 16
  15. get extra mags, somewhere to put these extra mags. A sling is a must i think, your own face/eye protection if u dont have any. and maybe some kind of dedicated out fit like surplus MTP or something, boots too
  16. ive been doing some research, and a lot of the new desert spec boots look really nice. A lot of people seem to recommend the Nike SFB, but its pretty pricey at $140 these look nice too, wish they did it in brown or green tho The Rocky® C4T Trainer Military Duty BootMILITARY DUTY BOOT
  17. what i do to stop fog, is place my goggles over me facemask (the nosepart) so there is a gap between my skin letting air get in.. seems to work well.
  18. i thought dmr was 450 and bolt 500. But i might be wrong, they changed it all recently from fps to m/s its quite confussing, tbh their cronos dont even work properly the first shot of my gun was 40m/s the next was 90m/s and i know its not my gun.
  19. thanks for the idea, i like the look of the hightop trainer style ones. I think my main issue isnt my boots, its just i like to be quite active when i play running a lot and combat boots arnt really designed for running
  20. aslo i think at bilericay the limit for bolt actions is 500 fps
  21. Okay thats a nice budget, I would say G&G Combat Machine, theyre around £130-180 or a KWA CQR MOD1/2... the KWA is probably the better gun its a little bit more expensive around 150-180 but theyre quite hard to find in the UK. Alternately ICS do some M4's in that price range aswell. Theyre probably your best bets.
  22. Hi guys, I have some quite heavy Leather Magnum boots...Dont get me wrong theyre great boots. but theyre just soo heavy, what would people say is the best light weight boot for an airsoft environment. Lets face it we dont need big heavy combat boots for airsoft its not like im going to get shrapnel kicking about in my foot. I want something both light and flexible with ankle support, the Magnum boots dont really flex much it hurts my ankles by the end of the day.
