  1. Convicted paedophile. They should have shot the scumbag anyway.
  2. Does anyone know if the LCT G3 wide handguard will fit onto the VFC? I’m looking into getting the G3, but prefer the wide handguard to the slim style it comes with. If not, other than real steel, which I think is compatible, is there another make that will fit?
  3. This advert is COMPLETED!

Make: GHK Gun/Model: M4A1 Accessories: Colt marked M203 launcher with gas tight grenade, Peq 2 battery box, possibly leaking CO2 magazine, Acog. Condition: Used, but functioning FPS: Gas and temp dependant. Splits/Swaps/Part Exchange: N/N/N Price/Payment: £400 Pictures: Attached This build is based off the rifle used by Taylor Kitsch depicting Lt Mike Murphy in the film Lone Survivor. It’s been a wall hanger since I completed it so I can’t fully vouch for how accurately or far it’ll fling a BB, but it does fully cycle and function as it should. I don’t have any CO2 bulbs so I can’t test the mag to confirm if it’s leaking or not. Price includes postage and PayPal fees.

  4. Yeah, this has been a problem for a while. I’ve noticed it particularly with GBB’s, especially WE’s. I’ve been waiting on stocks of XM177’s and M16A1’s coming in and they’re just nowhere to be found. As EDcase said, it does seem to have been the perfect storm. Hopefully things will start to settle down and we’ll get supplies through.
  5. SEAL Team inspired VFC GBB collection.
  6. Update. Credit where it’s due. Sixmm have given me a full refund and didn’t ask for the suppressor back. All comms were via WhatsApp and were answered within 48hrs. One message stated that the WhatsApp account was a business one and all queries would be answered within 48hrs so they were true to their word. How much of this was down to me putting in a dispute with PayPal and how much was due to them sorting out their customer services I don’t know. But, a good outcome for me, so happy days.
  7. Well, it appears my praise of Sixmm was premature as it turns out the £60 VFC M110 suppressor I ordered has turned into a £30 Ares suppressor on delivery. They’ve stamped M110 markings on it, which look poor and the ink they’ve used to highlight the markings has smudged along the side of the suppressor. But, worst of all, it doesn’t even fit the VFC M110. I’ve contacted them via WhatsApp sending all the pictures and received a reply from someone saying they are new to the company and will pass it on to the manager who will contact me tomorrow. It didn’t even come in any manufactures packaging, just wrapped in bubble wrap and shoved in a plastic bag. We’ll see what happens with my requested refund, but I’d avoid them like the plague.
  8. I ordered a suppressor last week with Asia Airsoft via PayPal. I went to check on my order status a couple of days later and found the order had been removed from my order history. No record of it at all even though the payment had gone through. I contacted Asia Airsoft by email and was advised to contact via WhatsApp, which I did. I hadn’t made a note of the order number or received an email confirmation which I know is usual for them. I’ve ordered loads of stuff from Asia Airsoft in the past and I don’t think I’ve ever received an email. Anyway, my contact was able to find my order using the PayPal transaction number and everything was processed and sent out within a day or so of sending the WhatsApp message. They said in future I should order through the Sixmm website and the email that I received with the tracking details was from Sixmm. So it looks like Asia Airsoft is going to be no more and Sixmm is the new company. My order is in the U.K. so should be delivered in the next few days. Hopefully it’s right and intact. So far I can’t complain about their customer service.
  9. Well earned praise for Coldbore Airsoft. I initially had an issue with an order I placed at the beginning of May. I ordered an XM177 but there were issues with the supplier that were beyond Coldbore’s control. There seems to be a national shortage of WE GBB rifles. I’m not sure if they’ve been particularly badly hit by COVID or if it’s a distribution issue. Anyway, Anthony from Coldbore rang me to explain the issue and I was happy to continue with my order as they expected a delivery soon. Unfortunately the XM177’s didn’t turn up and after a few weeks I was able to pick one up second hand. I received regular updates by email from Anthony and during one of these email conversations I mentioned that I had managed to get the XM177. Anthony asked if there was anything else I was interested in and I mentioned that I’d been after the VFC M110 GBB for quite some time, but no one in the U.K. had any intentions of stocking them. Anthony said he would check with his supplier and within a few weeks he had 2 in stock and one on its way to me. Coldbore is a fairly new, small Airsoft store and I was intending to keep my order going for the XM177 even after I had picked one up second hand. It’s been a difficult time for small businesses particularly in Airsoft so I was happy to help them out. But when they said they could switch my order to the M110 I was overjoyed. My experience of their customer service was great and I hope they manage to continue and go from strength to strength. Oh, and the M110 is AWESOME!!!!!!
  10. I think it looks decent as long as you can get the suppressor to fit snug against the rail/gas block. If not and there’s a gap I don’t think it would work as well.
  11. And that’s the thing for me as well. I love doing builds. I love sourcing the parts and putting it together. When I have the final build there’s a sense of achievement, but then I’m looking for the next build. That’s why I’ve built a few Blackhawk Down inspired guns and then sold them soon afterwards. But, I’m not anal about it. I want to get as close as possible, but I’m not going to spend god knows how much on a real Aimpoint 2000 because I can’t find an airsoft replica version. If it’s close, it’ll do. I know there is a big market in the real steel world, mainly in America, and people can get really antsy about each other’s builds. If it’s not clone correct, then it’s wrong. I think some of that is carrying over into airsoft especially with the UKSF guys pulling apart each other’s kit. For me, I’m very inspired by real world military weapons and movie weapons and they will inspire my builds. I’ll get as close as I can and if other people like it, great. If not, well as long as I’m happy, that’s all that counts.
  12. I’ve done a couple of BHD inspired builds over my time. I’ve added a couple of pictures of the most recent builds I’ve done, WE M-14 and WE XM177. I was really happy with both, but ended up selling them on to do other stuff. One of my biggest regrets was selling the suppressor from the Gary Gordon Car-15, because they’re difficult to come by. Obviously as you can see neither were totally accurate, but good enough for me. I’m in the process of building another Delta Car-15, Blackhawk Down inspired. I’ll see how it ends up.
  13. If you didn’t take this picture on a Friday then you’re messing with my OCD 🤪 I’m with Hamster and just use the roll up, mouse mat style mat. A nice AR-15 exploded view, just because it looks good. I’m also on board with the GU dishes and a willingness to scoff as many as necessary 😉
  14. Which Glock is this for, 17 or 19?
  15. The bolt catch is part of the function of the gun and so as Hamster said, you may as well use it until it breaks. If it does. You may be lucky and have no issues. But, that’s why we buy GBB’s, for the realism. If you’re going to stop using the functions you may as well go get an AEG. That said, if you run your gun properly you shouldn’t necessarily use the bolt catch that often. Tactical reloads are always better than emergency reloads.
  16. I would agree with above and totally recommend the Blue Force Gear Vickers Sling, and not just because I currently have one up for sale (a deal can be done if you give me a shout). But it is a solid sling, well made and works great. I’ve got Magpul slings and they are very good as well, but the Vickers Sling just seems less faffy and has been chosen by U.S military including the Marine Corps who has it’s own budget and don’t buy rubbish.
  17. Not only is there a question Mark over the durability of the lens and their ability to withstand repeated bb hits in one go and over time, (full auto or a burst to the face shouldn’t happen, but is a possibility), but the fact that the lens is away from the face, no seal around the eyes, leads to the potential that a bb could find its way through the gap. Personally, I wouldn’t touch these. There’s plenty of better options around.

I’m looking for a threaded outer barrel for a Umarex Glock 19 if anyone has one spare. Thanks.

Anyone with a spare WE M14 or XM177 GBB give me a shout please. Thanks.

  20. I’ve got a couple of old wardrobes that I’ve stuck in the garage and use a heavy duty rubberised chain lock to secure them, but it’s not ideal. I was looking around for old lockable lockers but couldn’t really find anything big enough at a decent price. I definitely think there’s a gap in the replica market for secure storage that one of the retailers could fill or someone with decent diy skills.
  21. Yeah, I think split packages and all that sort of thing are more likely to get stuff seized. My reenactment society membership is a valid defence and is accepted by U.K. retailers. I’ve had no issue buying, so in that respect I’m not concerned. A defence is a defence. My concern is whether customs/border force will accept it or will they create some sort off reason to keep a big scary gun out of the U.K. I think there’s a strong possibility they’ll do whatever they can to make it difficult and I’ll risk losing the gun and £500. It think my best bet at the moment is to speak to customs, second best speak to an airsoft shop and see if they’ll order one for me, third playing the long game and get back active on UKARA or fourth making friends with someone active on UKARA who’ll order it on my behalf 😬🤭 (I have a defence so there’s no real issue there.)
  22. Unfortunately I don’t have any mates who are in to airsoft at the moment. Those friends I made while playing I seem to have lost contact with since I last played as the site closed down.
  23. I did email a bunch of places, most of the big stores to see if they were going to stock them, but they had no plans to get any in due to VFC GBBs dodgy rep. It had crossed my mind to speak to some again to see if they can get a one off special order. I’d not mind paying any extra admin fee, so it’s definitely an option. It would probably be more likely if I knew a few people who wanted them. A shop would be more likely to get a few in, especially if they knew they were going to sell them.
  24. Thanks for the replies guys. My membership is to the Military Vehicle Trust so as far as the era the RIF represents, it shouldn’t be an issue as MVT covers all ranges. But, it is my concern that customs will just put it in the to hard box and say if it’s not UKARA it’s not coming in. I’m aware of issues people had with customs when they had a current UKARA defence, but I didn’t experience any issues myself. I don’t really want to shell out £500 on a gamble so I’m edging towards scrapping the idea. I was hoping someone would come on and say, “yep, I import all the time as a reenactor and have no issues whatsoever with customs.” I’m guessing that’s not going to be the case. I may contact them through the week and ask them direct if I can find a relevant email address. Otherwise, I may just have to play the long game and hope one of the U.K. retailers gets them in, someone who has one wants to sell it or try to get to some games.
