Never really engaged targets more than 15m with it. Used green gas and 0.23, could easily hit torso at that range. I am not the best shot so not qualified to comment any more than that hehe more like 10-15m actually ... imagine CQB situations ps. are you going to the mall this sunday?

I have big hands and I love it, the only thing is that the trigger can be a bit heavy. Mine is quite old though, its the silver and black version that came out a while ago. Don't know about the new one coming out now.

Guys thank you. IMI arrived and fits like a glove
-
Thanks, but I got the IMI from uktactical. Cheers though!

Bloody expensive! Anywhere I can get them cheap?

Can't find an appropriate Blackhawk P226 leg drop supplier... The imi looks good, since I can put it on my webbing. http://www.uktactical.com/p-9053-rotating-holster-sig226-tan.aspx Are you using one?

I want to get a new holster for my TM P226. I currently have a fabric drop leg, but it's quite annoying. There is a buckle I have to do up to make the pistol secure - very inconvenient to draw and put back in. It also seems to work itself to the front of by thigh after a bit of running. The good thing is it carries two extra mags. I have a set of webbing and no chest rig, so looks like it'll have to be drop leg. What would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Thats basically what the emptied out suppressor does, except you CAN aim down your sights!

I got really bored writing my thesis, so two random topics today So basically I was given a Noveske sound hog. For an AEG the sound amplification isn't bad. But I found that by removing the front end of my 6 (or 7) inch suppressor and taking all the foam out, the sound amplification was even better! LOL

Quite a random topic, I'll admit that. So bb pellets come in bags and bottles and bottles with draining tips. I've always preferred using sealable bags. Its so much easier to fill high cap mags and loaders. You just shove the whole thing into the bag, open the 'lid' and scoop and shovel the BBs into the it. Doesn't matter if you miss the hole, the bbs will just remain in the bag. Convenient. Quick. No mess. Bottles are annoying because I am a retard and the bbs always go everywhere except for the mag opening. And I've never used bottles with draining tips, but I'll imagine one will have to shimmy the bottle even more for bbs to come out. Thoughts?

Has the OP given up? You guys might have scared him away..

You have my thanks sir. I've been trying to put that ...feeling into words for a while. I must admit I am guilty of this more than I would like to, in fact I am convinced that I now have a reputation amongst the marshals at The Mall, or maybe I am just paranoid.

I dislike cop9gun with a passion. I went to their shop and the staff are so rude and have successfully charged me 3x the normal price for some m4 mags (I was quite young then so I didn't know). Most airsofters in HK know not to buy from them.

Thanks for the detailed info! I found some videos on youtube, and it seems that The Stan suits me the most! Thanks!

So, I'll be moving to Sheffield later this year to start a new chapter of my life. I should be making enough money to continue this awesome and expensive hobby of airsoft. So I had a look at airbana, and there seems to be a few sites around the city. As I love the Mall in Reading, the Stan CQB Ops site seems like a site I will be frequenting. Anyone been? What about the other sites around? Any opinions and recommendations will be appreciated! Also- a bit off topic - as I am looking at one bedroom flats and houses to rent, can anyone recommend on particular estate agents or areas to live in? I gathered that west side is nicer, so I'll properly look there. Thank you!

Glad it worked out for you. My uni used to have one apparently, but got dissolved a few years before I joined. My friend at uni co-founded a paintball society but that lasted one year I think and got dissolved as well. The problem with this type of society is that it is very hard to offer anything extra, which is needed for a society's existence. There isn't much interest in airsoft in general anyway, so it is difficult to meet member subscription targets, and for all clubs and societies, interest and attendance drops dramatically as the year goes on due to academic commitments. This is especially true for non-commitment based clubs/socs, whereas for orchestras, rugby, netball etc, members must attend regular sessions to retain their positions. It is also difficult to request financial support from the union for, say, subsidised skirmishing fees, as there is low interest in the first place. Airsofting is also a relatively expensive hobby, which doesn't go well with students. Edit: It probably varies a lot between universities.

This place sure sounds fun, would love to go there some time! Must take care not to wander into Narnia through these dark tunnels - toy guns have no power there.

Looking for a multipurpose Action Camera (Budgeted)
jeffery7466 replied to Tad's topic in Off-Topic Discussion
I know its made in China but I think the SJ4000 is worth considering - all the reviews I've seen are very positive. Image quality may also be better than the old Contour model. You've probably seen this already from a recent thread... but just in case: http://sjcamguides.com/sjcam-sj-scam-difference-real-fake-camera/ -
Is it more expensive? The impression I get is I'll have to spend a ridiculous amount of money on uniform (combats, boots, webbing/assualt vest) and gear (bergen, basher, sleeping bag, cooking equipment, ration, etc...) to look like the real deal.

The hidden costs of an action camera(?)

Cheers mate! -
How about a red torch - red light doesn't ruin your night vision too much..

Mind if I ask why were you sending cockroaches...? Scientific purposes? In our lab we send and receive drosophila.. but never cockroaches.

I am lazy in that I don't actively go for objectives unless I happen to stumble upon them e.g. collecting briefcases. Actually that just makes me a douchebag. I much prefer going alone/ with a small team then joining gangbangs. This works best at The Mall I find. As yea, douchebags gonna douche.

Why does everyone love Glocks so much?
jeffery7466 replied to Lozart's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
When I hold a glock, it points up a little for me instead. So yea grip angle matters. I read somewhere that the glock is not like by some SF because of this - when you hold it too firmly (due to stress) it naturally points high. The book was quite old though, so views may have changed.
