  1. Will pick it up on release still hardcore playing Tanks atm
  2. My Mum's family is all from Loughiel in Antrim and my Gran was from Ballynahinch. I was born in Ballymoney, mostly raised in Coleraine and now live in England. Miss home but don't miss the bullshit that goes with everyday life, which I am sure you of all people understand about the North!
  3. Yes the Free State was introduced in 1922 but it wasn't a separate country was it - still had dominion status and was in the Commonwealth till 1948. I know my Irish history mate being from Belfast....;p
  4. Teddybhoy, yes the Punt was tied to the Pound but it wasn't the same as the pound. Important difference.
  5. I think its quite apt, full of rabid lunatics in a place no one in their right mind would want to go. Seems to fit. PS Its called banter....and I don't care if you are offended.
  6. And this is what sticks in my craw, the SNP had their shot during the Referendum and lost badly. Now they are effectively holding the rest of the country to ransom with their General Election mandate on topics that don't just affect Jockistan. Its the political equivalent of a kiddie stamping and yelling and going off in a huff when they don't get their own way.
  7. Its only a debate if both sides are well informed.
  8. Ok, that's a convincing well thought out argument. I concede.
  9. At the end of the day it came down to 55% of the electorate saying no, in any election and especially one with 85% turnout, thats an arse kicking. What grates with us south of the border is the fact that the SNP and people like you keep banging on about it. You lost. Deal with it.
  10. But Mr Darling said this would leave Scotland at the mercy of a ‘foreign country’ telling it how much it could spend like Eurozone countries which have to get their budgets signed off in Brussels However Mr Darling said: ‘The thing about a currency union is both sides have to agree to it. We are talking about a huge risk if we assume it’s going to fall into line. Even if Scotland did keep the pound you have failed to acknowledge the issue of monetary and fiscal union without political. Again look at the Euro.
  11. No go read the rest of the article and come back when you have
  12. See what I mean no grasp of the real issues. I tried. You picked one line from the whole article and ignored the rest.
  13. Yes really. What does it mean to be Independent? You have charge of all of your own affairs. Agreed? If an Independent Scotland shared the Pound with the rest of the UK where would the major macro economic decision on Interest Rates be decided? London. Scotland would have zero control over its own currency, zero control of how to manage its economy and would be at the whim of what the UK government decided to do. If Scotland doesn't have its own currency there is absolutely no point in its being Independent.
  14. Absolute shite, an independent Scotland cannot use the same currency as the rest of the Uk without express permission from the Bank of England and the Govt. And they wouldn't have let that happen
  15. Um we do - go Google the Barnett Formula, I will wait....... The UK Govt gives the Scottish Govt its budget for the year, same as the NI and Welsh. In fact Nicola Fucking Ugly Sturgeon is campaigning currently for an increase in the Scottish allowance. Ok, so according to you an independent Scotland would get decide itself to keep the Pound? Either you are incredibly naive as to how politics works or you are living in cloud Cuckoo land. I am sure you a nice guy and all that but you just seem to have bought into the rhetoric of an independent Scotland as peddled by the SNP without looking at the finer details and how what they preach would actually come about. You seem to have zero grasp of actual politics, and I don't mean that in an insulting or nasty way because 99% of the British public are the same, they think they know the issues and arguments and they really really don't.
  16. How would Scotland fail? Bankruptcy a la Greece? Look, as much as I extol and even support Scotlands right to be independent there were a number of problems with their arguments: 1. Firstly, the assertation by the SNP that they could share the pound with the UK without political union was just bonkers. You cannot have monetary union with out fiscal union, just look at the current mess of the Euro where a central interest rate has been shoe horned to try and fit different economies. This is why the UK left the ERM in the early 90's. Political Union is needed. 2. Scotland simply wouldnt be able to fund itself, the argument that they would use North Sea oil revenue is fatuous, the oil price has plummeted and North Sea stocks are diminishing. 3. They refused to take on their share of national debt, the thought that Scotland could get away with that was laughable. The basic fact is the current system of allocation of money to the consituent parts of the UK heavily favours Scotland 4. As a quasi Socialst party the SNP would inevitably spend more than they could ever possibly generate 5. Entry to NATO and the EU was not a guarantee. As a member of the military the suggestion that an Independent Scotland would take back all the Scottish Regiments and aircraft based there was roundly scorned. I could go on and on but you get the picture, and bear in mind I support Scotland fucking off to save the rest of us the taxes from supporting you lot. Oh and Alex Salmond and Nicola Sturgeon just get on my tits, not sure why think its the inherent smugness.
  17. If you had one inkling of a notion of history then you would realise this: The Union wasn't forced on Scotland. The Scottish were broke at the time of the Union and REQUESTED that it happen to save themselves. As for the Referendum I wish that you lot had voted Yes, it would have been fucking hilarious watching the country implode under an SNP government without the financial backing of the rest of the UK. Oh and I am Irish not English in case you raise that one....
  18. I had exactly the same issue with my 56-1 - turned out it was a stripped piston. Fire Support whipped it out and added a new spring - hey presto 60m shooting gun....
  19. There are loads of aftermarket parts - Detonator make some for instance just hunt around some of the HK retailers
  20. FAL or SLR? Basically the same bar the round they fired - and pretty much impossible to find in Airsoft format - Ares and King Arms both made them and stopped production - I would say your best bet is actually some of the Cold War airsoft forums and Facebook groups.
  21. I generally worj on the principle that 45/50m is about average for any gun and if it isnt hitting this then something is wrong. There are various rough FPS and expected distance calculators on the internet (Google). A lesson hard learnt by me is - dont touch it if it aint broke......So if you are hitting 50m with it then leave it alone.
  22. Just had a TM Mp7 from ehobby - ordered 23 Feb arrived in UK 26 Feb - Customs took a week to clear; all in all pretty easy. I have my UKARA number as part of my delivery address on all my overseas orders.
  23. Cold War collectibles is your place for spare AK stocks and stuff
  24. And a TM PX4 shouldn't cost £200 Fire Support have them at circa £129. Stick to Green Gas with it
