  1. And you can still see any number of listings for bayonets, which are also covered by the guidelines. Ridiculous. :-(
  2. First game, fIrst ever day out, I managed to get shot in the mouth and thought the bb had grazed the back of my tongue and bounced out again as there was nothing to spit out apart from a little blood. It wasn't until lunchtime that I decided to have a look in the mirror, as the graze was really annoying. I noticed a tiny little bit of white in the side of my tongue and gave it a little squeeze. Like a big zit, the embedded bb popped out. I still have it and it's in the inside pocket of my fatigues every time I play...
  3. Don't forget The Outpost near Dunstable...
  4. You're very kind, but yes, I suppose so. Should be a bit slimmer though so a bit more running around with toy guns is required.
  5. Shame about that. For next time, I have SWAT front and back and usually wear an M88 (unless it's too hot, like last night).
  6. We have GOT to get this sorted out next time. I'm going to bring an AFUK flag or summat. :-)
  7. Really good evening at The Mall last night, although again failed to spot the other AFUK members. One sour point however. I was reported to the marshals for not responding to a colour challenge at one point. Truth is, I heard absolutely nothing, because I (working with two others) had outflanked the opposition. I popped my head around the corner to find a half-dozen yellow-banded bad guys, all with their backs to me. They seemed to be focused on my buddies, so I opened fire from 30 yards or so and took them all out. Apart, that is, from the one hiding behind a pillar who shot me in the back of the head as I passed - fair play. Little bit miffed however as I'm fairly distinctive and don't want to be saddled with a reputation I don't deserve. If I'm challenged (and I hear it), I'll respond. If I'm 30 yards away, you have your back to me, and you're challenging somebody else, then guess what - I won't hear you. On the other hand, I saw some great gameplay and was particularly impressed with one player. I thought he was on my side and stuck my pistol (and head) around a corner to take out the guy behind him. At the same time he shot me in the hand at close range. He IMMEDIATELY apologised and I then spotted his armbands, so again, fair enough, my fault. Back in the Safe Zone he again came over to check I was ok and apologise once more. Kudos to you, chap. Finally, it was announced at one point that a guy has been banned from the site for being abusive to another player. Nice to see marshalling being taken seriously. I really enjoy going to The Mall and will hopefully become a regular. Look forward to catching up with any of you guys next time around.
  8. New red-dot sight after first outing at The Mall - Boo!
  9. Anyone else? keep an eye out for a SWAT loadout (considerably fewer layers than last time, however!) and come and say hello.
  10. Terrible. Good job I can still search for and find an M4 magazine. Or an SHS V3 Trigger Switch. Or an AK47 sling. Or a G36 ammo pouch. Or an M16 scope. Or a Glock holster. Or pearl grips for a Colt 1911. Did nobody actually check listings before posting on this thread? Edited to add: ak2m4, I'd have another chat with eBay, as this was posted today - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AIRSOFT-M-GENUINE-LONEX-REINFORCED-TRIGGER-FOR-VERSION-2-GEARBOX-ASG-4-UK-/371353748344?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5676688378
  11. A neighbour of mine set up a shooting range at our village fete. I was completely blown away by the realism of the RIFs and spent a fortune blasting away at paper targets. Fast-forward 3 years and I now have 7 RIFs of my own (4 distinct loadouts) and my neighbour (now one of my best friends) and I now skirmish regularly along with two others from the village that were converted at the same time.
  12. I'll be there with a couple of mates, and we're actually bringing a real girl! (She's my friend's daughter, so please behave)
  13. A set of repro Vietnam Tigerstripes (badged) - £20 on eBay! Also arrived with a boonie hat not mentioned in the listing. Top marks all round.
  14. Cyma AK's are great. Check out the CM range on www.taiwangun.com
  15. Good man. I have the M9 myself and it's still a joy to use. Next question is what holster to get? I'm a big fan of the Fobus retention ones...
  16. Exactly. You can get a TM GBB for much less than £150 which will be all the pistol you'll ever need,
  17. LOVE the CYMA 350M. Just what I need for my Vietnsm loadout. Itchy credit card now...
  18. Great service from the guys at XSite in Lane End. Dropped off my TM M16 for them to look at - came back with a job list as long as your arm, all for £50 (including a new hop).

  19. As Baz said, go to a shop and try a few. All of my pistols are TM as to my mind they have the best combination of performance and quality. None of them feel insignificant- if you have any concerns about this, just pick up a TM Desert Eagle and tell me what you think!
  20. First think I thought when I saw the title of this thread was MK23...
  21. Can hugely endorse the MK23. The expressions you see when you draw the thing is worth the money alone. Only problem is finding a holster to fit, but a short search on eBay should see you right
  22. Better to get a gas NBB. http://www.taiwangun.com/en/m92f-m9-heavy-weight-gas-pistol-replica-stti?from=listing&campaign-id=19
  23. Good call from Happy. Great deals available from Taiwangun and lots of accessories too. They will change the spring to reduce the fps if you ask them to do so when you order.
  24. Can't remember I'm afraid. Just visiting Alnwick and happened to stick my head in.
