  1. Full-on VN tropical kit, with full webbing, M1 helmet and all the magazines you can carry. Finish the day with authentic sweat stains! It's all about the look... ;-)
  2. Can highly recommend the Fobus kit. I have one for my 1911 one for my M9 and they're both as secure as a very secure thing. VERY tight when they're new, so just the excuse you need to wear it around the house in order to break it in. A little spray of silicone helps too.
  3. It depend on whatever my ghillie chooses on the day...
  4. Just had a look back and it was from Airsoft Armoury in July of last year (had them longer than I realised!).
  5. Paid £35 for 10 ASG 140-round M4 mags last year. Used over and over and haven't had any issues whatsoever.
  6. Soldier of Fortune do really good kit at reasonable prices. If you REALLY want to go for the look, this is a great resource: http://david.brubakers.us/Vietnam/ or http://www.vietnamgear.com Pics required, whatever you do!
  7. I can recommend the Fobus kit - I use a left-hand paddle holster in the small of my back for covert carry (even though I'm right-handed). I've also just ordered one of these (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Airsoft-M9-Pistol-Holster-with-Double-Magazine-Pouch-/251535642800?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item3a90b150b0 ) as they're very good value. They tend to be VERY stiff when new so if you get one, you'll need to break it in
  8. If you are really interested in building a Vietnam loadout, these guys are a friendly bunch: http://s6.zetaboards.com/vietnamairsoft/index/ There is often a good deal to be had on kit in the "For Sale" section. My own effort is attached!
  9. TM all the way. Great piece of kit. I also use a TM Beretta M92 which I really rate, although it's a bit bulky so I'd suggest handling one before you but to make sure it's comfortable for you.
  10. This bypasses "want" and goes straight to "need". Looks a bit bulky at the moment, but I'm sure a bit more development would make it more discreet and suitable for something like, say, an M16 for example... ;-)
  11. Fobus LH paddle holster for my 1911. I'm not left-handed, but this sits nicely in the small of my back for an easy right-hand draw. Now I can carry 2 pistols. Yay me!
  12. 2 x Tokyo Marui 1911 26-rnd mags from Firesupport. Thanks Monty!
  13. Still looking - borrowing extras at the moment! Edited to add: Thank you for the prompt! Just checked and Firesupport have them back in stock. All ordered and they'll be here in time for our skirmish next Saturday. Thank you!
  14. Personally speaking, I'm partial to the Somali pirate/West African irregular look: knock-off ManU shirt, baggy combats and a rusty AK. And a gold tooth.
  15. Thanks for the info guys. Want to buy from the UK, but need the standard mags for the VN loadout so it looks like I'll have to keep an eye out on the various outlets...
  16. I bought a box of 10 plastic ASG mid-caps for £40 around 18 months ago and they've all worked perfectly in my CA M4 and G&P M16. Ok, they're plastic, but look spot on and are very low-maintenance.
  17. Hi all. First post, so be gentle... Following on from the earlier "out of stock" thread, I was hoping somebody could help. A few months ago I bought myself a TM 1911A1 and figured I'd sort out extra mags later. Fast-forward to today, and I can't seem to find any TM mags anywhere! A 26-round limit makes CQB a bit challenging to say the least. Anybody out there able to point me in the right direction?
