Russe11 got a reaction from Esoterick in Whats this for?
It occurs to me that this thread could turn into a cool game, where people post pictures of an unusual airsoft item and people try to work out what it's for. Or alternatively try to come up with the most far fetched explanation of what it's for

Plenty of people on ww2airsoft.org.uk who have experience of making their own custom guns up to an including small artillery pieces. If you can get them interested, they might do a Swedish K. A tactical Vz58 might be a harder sell

Worth considering that you have a disadvantage in terms of mobility, so why not use the advantages you do have and take a bloody big heavy gun that would be a pain for the rest of us to carry all day.
Lets face it, in a wheelchair you are unable to be stealthy enough to be a sniper and an assault rifle gives you no advantages over able bodies players. If you can bring ridiculous firepower to the game, your team has an incentive to protect your flank as you won't be able to turn quickly. You just need a way to make your chair take the weight.
Incidentally, do you have a pic of the chair? It may help us to come up with more silly ideas

I thought students didn't buy anything in bottles unless it had a label that included the % alcohol?

Woot, found someone willing to make this for me
It's a guy from the WW2 airsoft forums, he's done a lot of other custom jobs. Might be going for a P90 hop up to save hassle with moving the feed direction. Anyone got knowledge of P90 hop ups?

I'm afraid the RFD is wrong. I wouldn't worry about it as you haven't broken the law, he has.

Sounds like a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. loadout, theres a whole thread of people doing that.
I do WW2 stuff, British, British airborne, Aussie (early war, late war and mid war).

Russe11 got a reaction from Ian_Gere in What do you bring as a snack when airsofting?
For WW2 games, everyone tends to stay in period. So Chocolate for snacks and Spam and crackers (I tend to go with oatcakes) for lunch. Hopefully one day I will persuade a small group to join me in doing the Aussie impression so we can form an elite field Barbie unit. I just think it would be hilarious to have a group of Aussie's set up a BBQ in the middle of a battle

Quite clearly the cat is protecting its eyes by sitting on the gun so no-one can use it.
<---is this the eventual plan?

Russe11 got a reaction from Airsoft_Mr B in Advice, hints, alternatives please
People will let you hold their guns though. Try a few and look at the following:
-Are the iron sights easy to use (you never see people check this but its really important)
-Does it feel comfortable to hold
-Does it look cool (most important thing really)
This will help you choose a type of gun that suits you. Then ask about who makes the best one to decide on a manufacturer.
Most people seem to be set on getting an M4 before they even hold a gun. Try to be open minded, there are lots of styles of gun out there and you may find that something different suits better. Sometimes it's fun being the guy who has something different (I should know, I tend to turn up with a Sten and an SMLE ).

Russe11 got a reaction from JamesAirsofterAgent in Israeli loadout
I have no problem buying from 'Islamic' countries. To me, religion has nothing to do with it. The position in Israel is that the army is responding to rocket attacks which are not even capable of penetrating the Israeli missile defences with massive firepower hitting residential areas where it is obvious that the majority of victims will be civilians. This is effectively genocide.
