We had a 'Gun Amnesty' localy a few years ago. The Police paraded the results on TV. They were all Airsoft guns and a few old Air rifles and I think a couple of old De-activated revolvers. They were making out like they had taken a major haulf o machine guns off the street.

Is ir just me but do you get an overwhelming urge to massacre anyone wearing a 'Guy Fawkes' Vendetta Mask?

Last Sunday one of my M4 pistons stripped in the middle of a Skirmish. No other damage as far as I can see and the teeth just got worn out with use. New one fitted and up and running.

Simple. It's like Fishing and riding Motorbikes. Don't do it in the rain. I hate the rain.

As a 50 something who grew up with Capris I have to disagree. a Capri is a thing of beauty and very cool. Of course most of the surviving cars have some rust they are very old.

Anti Tamper Switch?

Has anyone been brave enough to phone the Mobile contact numbers yet? It seems a very 'Generic' site. All 'stock' photographs and very none specific. No actual list of kit, airsofters or airsoft equipment. No pictures of members or skirmishes, No indication of what the training actually involves or where it is held etc.

MTP/Multicam is a cost saving compromise. It is popular at the moment with Airsofters because it is current issue and looks 'cool'. As with all fashions it will change. I prefer DPM in woodland but I have been known to wear an MTP shirt now and again.

The knee pads were £12 from ebay. Boots are British Army 'Pro Boots' with goretex lining, Multicam trousers and UBACS , grade 1 surplus items from Ebay, Plate Carrier from China, Helmet Gloves and other bits from various Wbay. Gun is Classic Army , an Ex rental that I refurbished and added the Magpul bits to, there is a thread for the refurb somewhere.

My son and one of his friends have been Skirmishing since they were 12. He is 14 now. It was through him that i got in to it. Instead of dripping him off and going back for him at the end of the day I joined in. Nothing wrong with young players. When we play together I give covering fire and he does all the running

You have to have a sense of proportion. We weren't involved and only have a short video out of context to go by. We don't know the players involved or their past behavior or conduct. We don't know how those involved acted afterwards, was there contrition or apology? Did the 'victom' want a heavier punishment or lesser? How culpable was he in the incident. And so on. At the end of the day those involved both the perps and the Marshals and management of the site resolved things. Who are we to second guess them based on a short Youtube clip?

Dead Men don't talk but you are supposed to declare your hits so shouting 'Hit' after someone else stretched the rules is OK by me. But then I don't like 'Bang' rules and playing with rubber knives anyway.
