  2. Edited while you Ninja'd. There is indeed bluetooth earpieces for radios. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Blue-tooth-Headset-Wireless-2way-Radio-PTT-Remote-For-Kenwood-Baofeng-TYT-Wouxan/123180185121?hash=item1cae1c7621:g:GigAAOSwtNFbBVGM
  3. They look like a pretty standard COTS earpiece for a phone to me. Possibly even a butchered pair of in ear 'phones. It's just a prop after all. Most actual bluetooth earpieces for radios have a mic on them like this: The lack of a mic suggests to me it's literally something to stop viewers from saying "why's he just sticking his finger in his ear and pretending to talk on a radio?"
  4. Gravity fed and suction fed to give them their correct names! Gravity feed brushes can work with much lower PSI so can have finer needles and do very fine work. They're more used for "proper" art than model making unless you have a very steady hand! Even for BASIC work there's still a minimum standard I would expect to get. A lot of hobby shops sell the single action Badger ones with a huge glass jar and while yes, they're good for laying down large areas of flat colour (think large scale planes and tanks) they're gash for anything remotely fine. In terms of not wanting to spend loads of money, get yourself an Iwata Revolution or a Harder and Steenbeck Revolution. They both run a bit over £100 but they'll work well and last. https://www.graphicair.co.uk/product-category/airbrush/ Airbrushes aren't "better" than a normal hairy stick, they're different. Depending on what you're trying to achieve you will most likely end up using both. In terms of overspray, a small airbrush won't make loads BUT it will accumulate and that shit is HARD to shift. Not only will a booth contain the overspray it'll help with you not breathing it in! The other thing to consider is your air source. Propellant cans are OK to give it a try but much like gas guns they suffer from hideous cool down so you'll need a couple at a time (one to use and one to warm back up). Otherwise you're looking at a compressor: a basic diaphragm compressor will be cheap (ish) but is noisy and usually works off a foot pedal (you press it when you need air) so that can be a pain. The other thing is that they have no reservoir unless you get the more expensive ones so you end up suffering with pulsing in your air line - basically each stroke of the compressor creates a little puff of air. Try to draw a thin straight line and you'll just get a row of dots. Silent compressors are the go to for indoor work and are basically oil filled refrigerator pumps sat on a big tank. Expensive but well worth it if you need to paint late at night or just...a lot. Happy to give any help and advice, I also have a quite a lot of kit that could do with a new home (brushes, compressors, airlines etc).
  5. Not really, even the TMC version is only just under £70 from Weapon762! Maybe have a look for something second hand?
  6. UKTactical are running 10% off Warrior stuff at the moment Code - WARRIOR10 but you're right, the best place is the Share a Bargain thread...
  7. Ah yes, the Outside the Wire ones. Also the most expensive of the lot!
  8. Any of the Smith Optics regulator type goggles are designed for parachute work or vehicle work where you will get fast, consistent airflow to stop them fogging up. For airsoft they're just not going to work well as you won't be moving enough. Revision and ESS both do decent turbofan goggles, try them instead.
  9. Depends what you call "OK Money" but have a look at these: https://www.ur-tactical.com/index.php/component/virtuemart/view/category/virtuemart_category_id/156 I have a couple of their FAST helmet covers and they're pretty nice for the price!
  10. For reference, the rail mount switch clips on mine (and the screen used one) are Streamlight remote retaining clips (part number - 080926-88178-5). I managed to pick some up on ebay.
  11. A carry handle on a flat top AR style weapon just looks wrong to me. Justifying it by saying that it's an HK so therefore it should look like a G36 just makes no sense at all. But hey, it's your gun. Fill your boots.
  12. It was about 3-4 weeks. Dispatch took longer than transit for that particular seller, for me it's good enough. It's not Surefire quality but let's face it - it's not Surefire cost either!
  13. NE is marketed by Element but you can get the same one cheaper properly unbranded or even with full Surefire trades. You're right though, there's probably just one factory churning these things out! This is the one I bought a few weeks ago: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/WIPSON-Tactical-SF-X300-Ultra-Pistol-Gun-Light-X300U-500-Lumens-High-Output-Weapon-Flashlight-Fit/32830394633.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.34474c4dK3pcJO
  14. Yeah....sorry about that. I'm trying desperately not to buy the Master Lemans Republic Commando mask right now. Ah crap, they've got a STALKER suit too.
  15. Just FYI - MasterLemans on Etsy does airsoft skirmishable Titanfall helmets...
  16. Dytac quality was always a bit hit and miss. Buddy of mine has an old Invader that has been absolutely faultless for a good long while but there's others that have just shat themselves out of the box. What their new lines are like is a mystery.
  17. Buddy of mine had one of the original Striker and the bolt handle and end cap literally came off in his hand after a few shots! I thought it had been addressed in later models though to be fair.
