  1. Google is your friend. https://www.accu.co.uk/cap-head-screws/3783-SSCF-M1-6-6-A2 (other heads/finishes are also available)
  2. I think the point that everyone is missing here is that the sling techniques that apply to firearms don't really apply to airsoft. Putting tension on the sling is usually to help with stability and recoil control. Airsoft guns really don't have that problem. Set up the sling however is comfortable for YOU. If you want more tension on it, have more tension on it. If you want room to maneuvre the gun about have less tension on it. If you want both, get an adjustable sling.
  3. That's as maybe but it isn't worth that much to an airsofter.
  4. That is now the official accepted term.
  5. I'd say at a guess they're in the US (that shopping list is in USD).
  6. For anyone that is not aware of the new standard there is a BSI white paper available here: https://www.bsigroup.com/globalassets/localfiles/en-gb/product-certification/ppe-eye-wear/en-iso-16321-white-paper-230720.pdf If you look at the physical requirements tests, while they say that the new 'C' impact rating is equivalent to the old EN166F rating, they actually use a bigger, heavier test weight now. The one thing that does confuse me a little though is the use case: Might make any insurance claims tricky if they fail in use, seeing as the standard only actually applies to eyewear for occupational or educational use.
  7. For me it's the cigars and cognac picture with a blatantly photoshopped-in bit of paper with his name and a date on it. Totes legit.
  8. Yeah...but @ak2m4 doesn't. Yet.
  9. I just buy a whole load of 0.1mm shims and then I know exactly what size they all are! Colour coded springs on the other hand...
  10. It's not just you! The Pentagon Kryptis might work for you https://www.pentagon-tactical.com/kryptis-balaklava not quite such a long neck but most of the ones that have that tend to be FR and that'll make you sweat like a paedo in Mothercare.
  11. You could also try swapping out the tappet plate spring for an upgraded one. Then you can use your midcaps fully loaded.
  12. We live in a world where people think that polishing the pins on the mains plug of their HiFi makes it sound better. Nothing surprises me any more.
  13. Won't fit down a stock tube. Try two of these https://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-1450mah-25c-continuous-discharge-lipo-battery.html and swap at lunch time if you go full ham on the auto. Trust me, you're not coming off as snobby.
  14. Fair do's. You pays your money and all that.
  15. Compared to all the other variables you mentioned and indeed airsoft tolerances, I'd say it would make three parts of fuck all difference. Technical term, that is.
  16. Well...the obvious thing would be bolting it onto an airsoft gun. Yes, you could probably use an uncoated protector on a piece of test gear that goes back in it's cosy little cover once you've finished with it but if you're planning on running around the woods with a piece of gear that costs several thousand pounds, I'd want a bit more protection.
  17. For an uncoated piece that will be scratched to all fuck before you know it...
  18. Extend the stock, poke the battery down the stock tube - non-wiring end first - then wind the spare wiring up and poke it in behind the battery. Job jobbed.
  19. Define "cheap". All the small round protectors I can find run between £250 and £300! Wouldn't be an issue. The thermal lens isn't the bit you look through.
