  1. Many moons ago when it was still The Rev Counter it was a proper good laugh. When VD took over it turned into the most foetid pile of shite I have ever had the misfortune to witness (and I used to admin a forum for stoners!).
  2. Demo Ranch actually made an aursoft version of one of their own branded ARs. It was made by aps so it was dogshit but still. Bluejean Operator does a lot of airsoft (he's also been cadre for MSW), Savage Actual have done quite a bit of airsoft (although they're buddies with licking wankstain so there's that). Travis Haley is quite well known for being into airsoft with his son.
  3. You clearly never went on VisorDown!
  4. When I was shopping for MLOK rails for my SCAR I had a chat with the guy at Airsoft Artisan and we checked the measurements of the mounting holes on mine (G&G - which is what the Cyma/Cybergun is copied from). They matched up with the WE/VFC version of his rails more than the TM version so I'd say that it may be a fair bet that it might fit a WE.
  5. I draw your attention to my earlier comment:
  6. I very much doubt that a retailer that would accept that as a defence will actually be bothering to check if you're buying an SMLE or a DD MK18!
  7. Cybergun is the licencing company, WE is one of the OEMs that they use. The current Cybergun SCAR-L is very definitely made by Cyma (source, my neighbour has one and I've seen the guts of it - it has Cyma written on the parts!)
  8. That's the same as mine except black! I've just had a look at one of my spare EPG-C grips, the flanges either side of the height adjuster may still need cutting down a bit, the end bearing on the XT motor is shallower than a regular motor, plus you don't have all the empty space around it where the tabs mount on a brushed motor. Plus they do usually put the motor a touch too steep for me. Not so bad that it shags the motor but not the best meshing!
  9. It's OK, we won't hold it against you! Thing is that while we know we're just playing toy soldiers with better sticks, there's a huge swathe of the general populace that think it's silly and unfortunately there's more of them than there is of us. I mean, there's way more violence and injury connected with kickyball than there is with airsoft and yet it's the most popular sport in the country.
  10. I did literally this at Warfighters way back for my best mates stag do. Everyone had an adapted rifle with the same system that the army use for not actually shooting each other on exercise (headband with IR sensors etc). Everyone had a speaker box that made pew noises and if you got "killed" it made a death groan and your gun stopped working. They also had round counting on the mags so you got 20 shots or so then had to physically change mag to start firing again. It was....different.
  11. Just for reference, my SCAR is the old G&G SCAR L, and it has a PTS MIAD grip on it.
  12. So almost as long ago as the last person to comment on this thread!
  13. I've got an Aster in the gun I am running the brushless motor in. AB is all the way off and to be honest, even on a 7.4v LiPo I'm not seeing any reason to bother with precocking.
  14. Fitted the motor to my SCAR at the weekend, it's not completely back together yet but yeah...gun go BRRRRRTTT!!! Had to modify the grip baseplate to get any sort of adjustment though. Any idea on more stock?
  15. Yep, I got a chest rig that way. Can be a bit hit and miss depending on when they do a shipment but it works.
  16. The current Cybergun SCAR L is a Cyma made copy of the old G&G so I'd say almost certainly NOT compatible.
  17. I think you'd be surprised. Doesn't even need to be rare guns. M14 parts are few and far between!
  18. The stock on the para is metal, the stock on the MK2 is hollow plastic. That's where the weight difference will be. As a Para owner I would say it's WAY less unwieldy than the MK2 and internally they're the same so it's basically down to aesthetics.
  19. he hee....he said butt! I have three, one green nylon, one woodland and one of those god awful modern versions where all the straps and buckles are in the wrong place. Definitely interesting to see the "what goes around" happening in the resurgence of belt kits and indeed, butt packs, with the Spiritus LBE expander, the Mayflower/Velocity Jungle rig, the Platatac belt kits and of course, good old British belt order kit (which never really went away to be fair).
  20. I wonder if he'll accept Paypal Friends and Family?
  21. Nah mate, I'd give him £700 tops, the RMR doesn't work!
  22. It seems fitting that they've packaged it up like an iPhone.
  23. This advert is COMPLETED!
