  1. What Navy Blue?!?! How dare you impersonate a member of Her Majesty's Royal Navy? Do understand the 9 weeks of cleaning, polishing and mild inconvenience we have to go though to earn that beret? I think not!
  2. Basically your parent or any over 18 can give you a RIF or IF(two tone) as a gift.
  3. Nope, pretty sure that's reserved for GoldenEye henchmen
  4. Any colour that's not brown, sand, blue, light blue, black, green, red, maroon pretty much covers most of the Armed Forces
  5. The only reason I've a magnified optic is so I can see where the bb's are going due to my generic James Bond henchman eyesight!
  6. I'll be honest I'm in the same boat as Finus and know next to nothing about computer specs so I may be firing a pm in the future , plus the shop isn't far from me so no postage!
  7. My local site has a solution to this, no mags in guns in the safezone - simples
  8. I heard somewhere that the officer had taken first pressure, which is a knats hair from going bang. If you see the video of the officers attending the Lee Rigby incident they decamp, draw and fire in about a second
  9. Treat your RIF like your genitals, don't get it out in public, don't wave it about where neighbors can see and don't be a dick! The only time you should have it out is when your in the woods with strangers. ....Oh no this metaphor was a bad choice
  10. The guns were in his bag along with the knife, if he had them out and waving them about there would of been two probable outcomes A ) shot by Firearms Oficers B ) arrested by Firearms officers and charged with S19 Firearms offence - Offence: A person commits an offence if, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse (the proof whereof lies on him) he has with him in a public place a loaded shot gun, an air weapon (whether loaded or not), any other firearm (whether loaded or not) together with ammunition suitable for use in that firearm, or an imitation firearm. Now having it in your bag because you were moving house/going to a skirmish/ going to a friends to take it to bits would be seen (hopefully) as reasonable. Having it exposed in public using those same excuses would most likely end up in arrest or 5.56 keyhole surgery. Edit: Removed the smily , which was kind of undermining my point
  11. I don't do subtle but I'm guessing what your trying to say is that he wasn't found guilty of carrying an offensive weapon - well done but also notice that was a magistrates decision not the Police, the Police's role in the criminal justice system is to record and present facts.
  12. I imagine he was charged with possession of an offensive weapon (knife) and the manufacturer of RIFs was a charge added after questioning as he wasn't charged originally with a firearms offence. You have to remember that the Police don't know every law and offence so I doubt even they knew about the manufacturing of RIFs
  13. Yep , nothing illigal though I would be tempted to close the curtains!
  14. BB's just like real bullets dont have a truly flat trajectory so 3cm at 10m is pretty good I'd of said. I set my hop up so the BB's get their maximum distance and just aim a bit lower in CQB,
  15. Well if we are talking about man bags don't forget this hero !
  16. Gave my Glock a lick of paint, it isn't perfect but I like it like that plus I had to stop due to roof tiles coming off!
  17. Airsoft Action and Airsoft International are the biggest I think, but to be honest you could do most of it yourself via Facebook and a few of the groups on there and hold it when there are no other events going on and I'm sure you could save yourself a big expense. Try not to get too involved with large unit tactics as sometimes it'll be like herding cats. A solution would to have a commander for each team and have them direct small units to capture various key points, like a huge game of risk!
  18. I think what makes it good for me is : - Different game types/objectives All the marshals singing of the same sheet in regards to boundaries, rules, out of play areas that sort of thing Friendly Marshals Somewhere between MilSim and a normal skirmish, so a plot that makes use of the site Long games don't bother me unless its every player going for the same objective and ending in a big ol' boring stalemate/war of attrition/who has the most ammo slug fest Small teams going after lots of objectives Never had vehicles but if they were involved they would have to be vulnerable in a way that made it fair uniform requirements in a way that its easy to identify teams such as Green Vs Tan/Black/Hawaiian Shirt Accessible to all players of any budget/experience/age Free Tea Free Coffee Biscuits? G'wan then That's my 2p for ya, though if its making use of a unique site like the Afghan Villiage maybe hold it over two days with a break at night for a few beers and a BBQ!
  19. FOD Plod on completion! Oh god I feel so dirty after typing that
  20. mine goes into a pocket and when I get a quiet moment I reload it then, I've been caught out once reloading it and I looked up and he was just looking at me, I shrugged and said "yep, you got me" and I walked off, kudos to the other player for not blasting me!
  21. Just tried it, it's too fat for the loops. I prefer to put things in pockets or pouches, I've lost a fair few bits by them just bouncing out and disappearing!
  22. I'll try slide it between loops tomorrow see what happens
  23. Shotgun primers, so 9mm would only drop one or two I reckon
  24. Well they cost me enough for the other half to decide she didn't like them might as well put it to good use - plus only a couple can come out at a time so handy while wearing gloves
