So I have decided to try my own Kydex project and have jumped in head first making the harder one which is the torched holster and for my first attempt I am reasonably happy with it. Obviously its not finished still need to shape and smooth and channel the torch part but the retention is spot on. Two new toys. The G&G RK47 before people ask only got the cheap one as its a weapon for my bro to use so if he breaks it no biggie. New TRMR nice little thing that is.

My Atacs FG is from UK Tactical it's Proper (the brand) and is excellent quality. If you don't want to spend a lot them there's loads of cheaper stuff on Ali Express I think it's the Emerson kit think at a rough guess it's like £70-80 for complete set. Personally spend a little more and get Proper I'm well happy with mine.

RAP4UK mate they sell loads of stuff and have since started selling Tippmann bits as well. I got my HPA pouch from them fits nicely now on the back of my DCS wouldn't even know it was there

So my wife got me an XDM for christmas. Well i got it she just paid for it lol. I decided i wanted it Stippled but thought i'd give it a crack myself. As you do. It may not be to everyone's liking but I think i've done a cracking job and it looks pretty smart.

I have a WE 888c (416c) and don't get me wrong it makes me smile like mad when using it but regret paying out all that money for it. they are weather dependant and the mags are so expensive. If i'd known about the SMP unit back when i bought my gas gun I would have gotten the SMP instead but it's always fun to get out in the summer. Plus the ball ache of cleaning it after every use.

I don't know if T-Tech Gun Sav would be any good in an AEG but I use that stuff in my SMP and it's excellect stuff.

I got shut of two of my loadouts to get Atacs FG and its decent. Really like it. The two things I hate about it though is the price for some of the kit and the fact there's not much available with different bits.

My SMP is done. No more changes now. New grips added, new Prowin Hop added, new silencer which does work.

So another update and now the SMP is running excellent. So after finding the air usage was really poor and its range wasn't what it should have been I looked into changing my barrel as mentioned above but me being me COMPLETELY overlooked the hop unit amd that was due to it being brand new so never gave it a second thought. Anyway..... I bought a Prowin hop with a 60 degree Madbull red shark bucking and installed them to my 275mm TBB for testing and I must say WOW what a difference. The air seal before was really bad when sealing the hop holes and blowing into the barrel air just p*ssed out but now its solid and the air seal between hop and unit is perfect as well. I moved onto chrono and PSI settings and it would appear both were to high my PSI was 80 its now roughly 55psi and the Dwell was half open its now a third if that and comfortable doing 345Fps consistently. Which is ace. 25rps and a range of roughly 80 metres :-). So to make it a little more speeder and trigger affective I have installed a blade Speed trigger and adjusted it to a hair. The new silencer I made really does work and what a treat. I recommend anyone wanting one of these there is a number of things to look at before hand as I have gone in blind and after I have now completed this I've spent over £1k but worth every penny. A mate of mine is soon becoming a UK main supplier for these and will be much better priced than The Grange. I am building his website as we speak and once he's up and running I will post the site.

So an update for anyone wanting to build one of these systems. TBB are a bad idea, wider the barrel the better it will run. Upgrading your hop and bucking is a must. Mine recommended barrel is an Orga 6.23mm with a Prowin Hop. An upgraded bucking is always a good idea as well but wih using a wider barrel you'll have to use a Prometheus Hop Up Tensioner Flat for better consistency with your hop. You'll loose Fps have having an HPA system it's a simply turn your PSI up and done. I ran mine at Shock the weekend just gone and having a TBB with a standard G&G hop worked well but it used a lot more air and after about 45-50m the BB lost control. I found myself having to run a much heavier BB to get better consistency.
