      most ads are annoying - like me They are so annoying you can't forget about them and kudos to ad agency they have completed what they set out to do getting into consumers head

      but sometimes the ads are better than some crap on telly

    Since your rifle is based off a HK416, you'll have to get a 416 body i believe, something about 416 and M4 RIS and recievers not lining up correctly

      LX is supposed to be the most realistic war film as they used many things etc...but you can't beat a good old Zulu, dambusters , great escape or the magnificent seven!!!!

      The SOPMOD Block 1/2 kits are mostly off the shelf parts kits, but as JCheese says the MK18 Mod O and Mod 1 are the Navy designations for the CQBR (although the CQBR itself is a modified M4 and has since been removed from the SOPMOD programme and has a development program in its own right). Block 1 and 2 aren't better or worse either, just that Block 2 has some newer bits.

    Battle: LA (the newest one) It's all relatively decent until the last 45/30 mins, when the team find the what appears to be mothership, the team leader, somehow pulls a laser designator out of his arse, and then the crippled US military with seemingly no more FOBs or HQ's launch a sh*t load of missiles onto this ship. Don't even get me started on the scene where the dude packs himself and about enough C4 to level a building into a bus and has zero collateral damage.

    Was going to reply to the PM but i'll put it here as i expect it will be everyones answer. Save a bit more money/birthday and get a G&G CM16 carbine starter kit, great gun, many people have them here so they should be able to help. I dont have a direct link to one but im sure someone does.     If a buyer recieves an item and then takes a week to claim that it is "faulty" Should i have to issue a refund? we did have solid communications during the time he recieved the item and when he claimed it was faulty.

      It was fine when it left, well as fine as a £100 Dboys rifle can be, then he messaged me saying he had received it, Then sent me another a few days later on advice for a charger for it, then today sayiing the trigger was slow.

    This was really just a "on first impressions review" so i'll be updating it with longevity etc later on. Its got a +14mm thread and a standard M4 barrel nut (i do believe this was in the review) and everything else is pretty standard. Yeah, it comes stock at 410/420 fps but i have since downgraded to a M90 spring. I taped not the unit itself but the wheel, it is quite loose and sometimes can move out of place to give more hop than you need; So i used a small piece of electirical tape to make usre it doesn't wiggle out of place.

    Not sure on what suppressor any more because i dont want it to look slim and small compared to the ris. The inner diameter is 1.8" so i'd want a suppressor about 1.5/1.7". I've decided on an outer barrel length of 4" which i've inquired to straffam about as he has one for sale. I'll need a suppressor of 9" in length if anyone has one for sale.

    Wow! Doesn't look half bad! Personally AR-15 platforms that use 9mm have never appealed to me, but a 5.56 version would do me.

    The shell is the only thing i need really. If they're that bad i'll fill it with foam instead. The handguard /ris and flash hider put me off completely.

    Fair shout, but i'm coming from an airsoft (aesthetics) point of view. I've found a suppressor. http://www.ebairsoft.com/auto-tracer-silencer-type-p-6552.html The only real specification for this was that it was rounded at the top. And to sweeten the deal, its a tracer. Its 7" long so with a 6" OB that will make the RIS/suppressor set up 13" long with an inch of suppressor hanging out the end. I could always use a 7" barrel and have more exposed suppressor but that'll be a future decision. Does anyone know the measurements for the full length version? Im not sure if the Wiki ones are for the shorter version or the long version is a lot smaller than i thought it was.
