f*ck me,some arseholes robbed my bike. 600 euro and 150 in new parts down the drain. Got more than enough use over the past 2 years but this puts a pretty big dent in my wallet, can't dip into my college fund. Hopefully I can get some sort of transport without canning airsoft plans but it looks like i'll have to cut sh*t this year. Gutted.

No insurance IIRC apart from a 2 year plan thing from the retailer that ran out in december I think. Should have insured it fully in all fairness. Mine was a Cube 29er with some rock shox I jammed on to replace the dodgy SR suntour ones. Lovely ride quality. My brother's going to lend me his old racer for the time being so I can actually get to games and to town so It's not all doom and gloom. Still, there is some very expensive doom and gloom

Looks like I've broken my Glock slide release

So at the tech centre, apparently the screw threads on the noveske barrel nut are wrong, either a different standard or bad tolerance, gonna need to contact fire support
-
Guys what rate of fire do you reckon this is at? I think it's roughly 21 RPS: http://vid1172.photobucket.com/albums/r561/ak47frizzle/MOV01559_zpsvt1zhciu.mp4

Well, that's me hired a game for next sunday. £35 which incudes G36c and kit, might as well put my own optic on it.

Need a recommendation for a bog standard non-braking mosfet, just to save on trigger contacts. Dont really fancy making one myself due to being lazy.

Rather than faff around with a new topic: Can anyone recommend a new piston for me? 13:1 high speed SHS gear set, Lonex A2 motor, SHS M90 Spring (335 fps, Version 2 Gearbox (for vfc scar), 9.6v NiMh battery. Stock piston stripped....every single tooth shredded in less than 50 or so rounds!
-
Going by that, the parts you have atm are fairly suitable-Motor and gears you have are good for efficient cycling and good trigger response. You can go for a higher torque/slower motor if you don't want to short stroke. To be honest, with an 18:1 set you will have good cycling,so that's the option I'd reccomend if you are just looking for standard fare and reliable performance

SHS Pistons are the best bang for buck IMO. Lonex/ASG ones are good too However, your main problem seems to be premature engagement. Gonna try keep this short- Motor is fast as well as high torque so it's making your gears spin faster than your piston returning to rest. You can stop this by installing a heavier spring and short stroking the piston, lightening the piston and correcting AOE. Another option is to go for a more powerful, slower motor like a ZCI High torque

Starting to doubt whether i actually like the AUG or not, might go for a G&G ak5c
-
G&G AK5C is sexy. Body is fairly solid,Alumi lower and stamped steel upper. Solid as a rock is all I can say. Only cons I can really find externally is the stock locking mech is a rather soft Nylon and the stock itself slides up and down a rather worrying looking pot metal, but I'm sure it'll be fine. Charging handle is extremely satisfying to use. Earlier versions had hop up issues IIRC but they've been fixed with the newest batch

It's really hard to eat healthy this time of year... Especially at SJA when Mince pies chocolate and crips are being passed around...

Some quick question, since I'm boot shopping again: Are the MOD issue Haix boots any good? http://flecktarn.co.uk/spccb2ua.html Secondly,is British military surplus legit? They have the same boots in grade 1 for 25 quid cheaper http://www.britishmilitarysurplus.co.uk/shop/footwear/haix-brown-leather-boots-grade-1-1124181.html

Completely wrecked the soles of my boots at the last game two days ago. Time to get some nice vibram ones glued onto them I guess.

Here's a question, why fps? Japan use the metric system, so why do they use fps as opposed to m/s etc? Just something theyve adopted from us and the Mexicans maybe...
